Caught a ride up the Pacific Coast Highway from LA to San Fran and we naturally stopped at Big Sur to take in the views. We also soon learned that there were severe forest fires that closed off the PCH just north of the famous lookout, causing us to have to reverse course. Our 7 hour drive turned into 11 hours and I missed out on Monterey, but still it was still worth it tbh

Cabo da Roca marks the most westerly point of mainland Europe. The windswept cliffs of Cabo de Roca were believed to be the edge of the world up until the late 14th century. The raging Atlantic Ocean waves pound the base of the massive cliffs while challenging hiking trails follow the coastal paths.
