Yesterday, we visited the marvelous Panna Meena Ka Kund, just next to Amber Fort. But we was surprised to see that only a handful of tourist who visit this beautiful site.
I grew up playing along these same waterfalls. Where I’m from, there really wasn’t anything better to do. These waterfalls inspired me to explore the rest of the world and leave a small town of 14,000 people. I get that same rush of energy every single time I visit. I understand why my parents got married here💚
In the past month, two of my favorites have moved away. I’ve lived in Redding for 7 years and every time I meet a new person, I feel a wall go up and the mindset of “you’re just gonna leave” creep in. I do it every time. Mainly subconsciously... but sometimes consciously. I did it with these two, but they stuck around. And they snuck their way deep into my heart and life.
@samuel_wingenbach, you truly are the closest thing I’ve ever had to a brother. From beating me up, relentlessly making fun of me to being my biggest champion and cheerleader. You have challenged me and changed me and I am more than grateful for your friendship and love. Distance has nothing on us.
@kenziemomo, I had zero idea what a gift you would be to me. Your kindness and joy has seen me in every moment of every interaction we’ve had. You’ve shown me the beauty of closeness and intimacy intertwined with humor. Colorado doesn’t know what they’re getting. You’re one in one mil.
Miss you both already. ❤️✨
