Was having a bit of a disagreement with a fellow Peater in one of the groups who was suggesting heavy weights for weight loss. I’m not against anyone doing heavy weights if they choose to do so, but what I am against is anyone pushing it as the only way to go. -

Week 3 amraps. Each day was pretty solid. Ohp was at 190lbs, curl was at 115 lbs, deadlift was 500 lbs, and squat was 480lbs.

Well today me and my two young training partners trashed our legs. By the end of the workout my hamstrings were so shot I can barely stand upright. My other training partner was fortunate enough to catch the nearest trash bin to vomit in it... and the youngest buck didn’t faint this time around. 😂👍🏻 Us three. we’re revolutionizing old school bodybuilding. Maybe not on a huge scale, but we’re doing it correctly. The old school way.

Es esa mezcla tostada de cereales, elaborada fundamentalmente con copos de avena y que se acompaña con otros frutos secos.

La granola casera es la variante saludable de los cereales industriales que, además, podemos hacer a nuestro gusto, no solo por los ingredientes sino por el contenido de azúcares que queramos añadirle

No la había preparado nunca y ayer por la tarde me decidí a ello y...¡es facilísimo!

Ingredientes
-30g de Copos de avena suave integral de @ecocesta
-12g de Almendras al natural
-6g de Avellanas al natural
-10g de Anacardos al natural
-1cdta de Canela de Ceylan en polvo
-20g de Xilitol de @prozisespana
-20g de Miel de Naranjo
-12 gotitas de Aroma de Vainilla

Paso a Paso
-Añadir los copos de avena a un bowl. Picar las Almendras, Avellanas y Anacardos e incorporar a los copos de avena
-Añadir el resto de ingredientes y mezclar bien
-Extender en una placa de horno y hornear a 140ºC (con aire)/160ºC durante 20 minutos, removiendo cada 5
minutos para que no se apelmace

Keto Fish Cakes With Red Pepper Salsa 
Prep Time: 10 minutesCook Time: 10 minutesTotal Time: 20 minutesYield: 4 servingsCategory: keto seafood recipes

INGREDIENTS

For the Keto Fish Cakes:

1 pound firm white fish (cod, haddock, snapper, grouper, tilapia)
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons sugar free mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce or coconut aminos
1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning*
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

For the Roasted Red Pepper Salsa:
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup chopped roasted red peppers
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1 tablespoon minced red onion
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon granulated erythritol sweetener

INSTRUCTIONS

To make the keto fish cakes:

Chop the fish into pieces about 1/2 inch in size.
Combine the chopped fish, parmesan, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire, Creole seasoning and fresh parsley in a medium-sized bowl. Stir well until fully mixed.
Heat the oil in a non stick sauce pan over medium high heat until shimmering.
Form the fish mixture into 8 patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
Fry the patties in batches for about 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through.
Serve warm with the salsa from below.

Here's another finisher you can try after your chest session! Mud crawls! Great for overall chest development. Also good for core stabilization, endurance, and strength. I've done them backwards and forward. I'm not too deep in the pushup position because I'm burnt out but I'm still reaping the benefits. I've done 3 forward and 3 backwards. Lastly I've repped out some pushups along with an isometric hold for break down more muscle tissue for mass. This was fun but tough! God's  strength was none other!

Thought I’d share one of my favorite workouts for burning fat in the mid section😉 Hanging leg raises...If you really want to burn out those abs, throw in some of these right after your workout. If you can’t quite lift your legs straight out in front of you, just bring up your knees. .
When doing these, rest your feet on a box or stepper for a split second so that you don’t swing your body...this will really help to hit each muscle in your abdomen (upper & lowers abs).

Place plates under the pads of your feet, squat low to get a deeper stretch in the quads...come up slowly and up on the toes for a calf raise (4 sets, 10-15 reps). Try super-setting these with split Bulgarian lunges and your legs will be screaming😆

A month ago I could have allowed myself to get discouraged when I couldn’t swing and reach to the higher bar but instead I set a goal! A goal to work on my upper body strength to eventually be able to do something that seemed so hard at the moment😬

Decided to do a full body workout yesterday just to get moving and get in a good sweat...And let’s just say it got me good💦😅.

I added this circuit in the mix of it all and wanted to share😉

5 Rounds:
🔺10 Box jumps (Land softly and squat at bottom for extra burn).
🔺5 Decline Push-ups & 10 alternating renegade rows (try your best not to move the hips...I have some work to do).
🔺20 alternating side to side step ups with ab twist.
🔺10 Floor wipers with ball between legs (squeeze ball to get inner thighs along with abs). Try to take little to no rest in between each workout until you reach the end of 1 complete round😉
