Symbols of America’s triumph in the Second World War are artfully displayed all over the World War II Memorial, located on the National Mall. 56 granite columns symbolize unity among the 48 states, seven federal territories and the District of Columbia. The columns form a semi-circle around the memorial’s plaza, with two 43-foot tall arches on opposite sides. The northern arch represents victory in the Atlantic, while the southern arch symbolizes victory in the Pacific. 📷: @eugeneksoh #MyDCcool

"I got to DC 9 years ago. I love this city it's my home now.
This is my first year bartending.
I love it, I have met pretty awesome people.
I like meeting people and in some way making them happy or at least making their day a little better, I mean my day gets better after a drink or two :) I think there is nothing better then working doing what you love, it's everything.
This place is my second home, this is my life my friends work with me so I pretty much have everything here at Mezcalero."
After a wonderful birthday weekend, my heart and stomach are both SO FULL 😍 I kicked off the weekend with brunch yesterday at @sospesodc. I’m a huge fan of spinach for breakfast so I fell in love all over again with these delicious $12 semolina squares #realfoodsmallbudget

Ready. Set. Glow 🔴 We’re in the holiday spirit our new home at L’Enfant Plaza! Drawing its inspiration from the techniques of espionage, the new Museum and its exhibition space is contained in a pleated ‘black box’, a dramatic diagonal-walled ‘box of secrets’ with opaque translucent walls, articulated by bright red fins. The lights behind the black box skin are color kinetic. They can be programmed to literally hundreds of thousands of colors. Incredible capture by 📷: @zackowicz
People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full, miss the point...the glass is refillable 🍷
