I was driving home from pilates today and almost stopped to pick up an açaí bowl. Right before I turned in the parking lot, I remembered that I didn’t love the bowl I got last time. It was a bit sweet and I didn’t love how I felt afterwards.
So, I kept going home, where I had all the fixings to make an awesome açaí bowl! I could choose the ingredients and how sweet it would be. I didn’t have to be anywhere right after class so I had the time. And it was DELICIOUS!! (Swipe to see my toppings! Inside were some layers gf granola and pumpkin seeds. I added a little dollop of pb after the pic). 🍌
My point of sharing this is that I chose me today. I could’ve easily grabbed a bowl on the go, knowing it wasn’t the right choice for me today. I took time to care for myself, even with a small meal, and it felt great!!
