Happy snow day, Indianapolis! I hope you are staying safe and warm and taking time to appreciate nature’s beautiful sculptures! (Maybe through the windows?)
❄️ And, no, of course I didn’t have time to take these photos today. I spent my morning taking two sick kids to the pediatrician and waiting way too long for antibiotics at the pharmacy. (Were they growing the cultures from scratch back there?) ❄️
These photos are from the TIME BEFORE KIDS. My DC friends who are weather fanatics (@lisaboggsphoto anyone?) may remember Winter Storm Dion in 2013. I couldn’t believe it was that long ago, and I had to go back five generations of hard drive storage to dig these out for you guys.
I’m thinking now that I might need to frame a few! Which are your favorites?
I just escaped from Armageddon (aka the grocery store). I've been to the store at this time of day a few times in my life and it's usually a bit chaotic but this evening felt more like the shopping frenzy experienced right before Thanksgiving day, Christmas day, an ice storm, or a hurricane waaaay down in the Gulf of Mexico. None of that is happening tomorrow! To calm down, I went back through pics I took today. This one is a close up of ice crystals on my car this morning. 😍 So much prettier than the so very special people encountered in the store.
