Hey guys! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday, it’s been a really rough couple of days. Anyways! I am home schooled and it feels like time/the day will never end. Here are some of the ways I get through the day: color! I have tons of adult coloring books that are actually so fun! I never liked to color, but now it totally gets me through the day! I also watch tons and tons of tv shows and movies. Some of my favorites are Parks & Recreation, The Office, Brooklyn 99, Law and Order, Mind of Mencia, Grey’s Anatomy and Live PD. Get arts and crafts!! I have this Playdoh flower kit and make your own lip balm and pottery. It is so much fun!!! Are you drinking enough water? If you have IBS, you need to be drinking at least 4 bottles a day. Water pushes your food through your system. It makes you poop. Water also bulks up your poop, too. SO WATER IS SO IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT HELPS ALL KINDS OF IBS. Constipation or diarrhea, you’re covered. Water also gives you energy, fills you up, is healthy for your kidneys, gives you good skin and so much more. Find fun ways to drink water! Put fruit or vegetables in your glass. You can also bring a wine glass to work or school and have a fun time drinking water out of it! My IBS is acting up really bad today so I decided to try my new Stress Away bath bombs from @younglivingeo. Hoping the warm water and the essential oils will help. After being sick with a cold for 2 full weeks and now this, I’m so sad to miss my friends at the meeting tonight, but I’m glad for the provision to listen in.
SIBO or Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth, can be an underlying cause of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. 😠 Here are some signs that might suggest SIBO as a root cause of IBS ◻️fibre makes it worse. ◻️antibiotics makes it better ◻️prebiotics cause more gas ◻️GFD not helping in coeliacs ◻️you use a lot of pain meds ◻️low iron or ferritin. I hadnt eaten all day, and the coke I posted on my stories - I had one sip. Ive eaten a few to many chocolate fingers but dinner was chicken and chorizo with stir fry veg and pineapple. I had 2 small waffles with PB Nutella and fruit for breakfast... nothing then until dinner - which was home made coleslaw (red/white cabbage, red onion, carrots, raw broccoli/cauliflower, fat free Greek yoghurt, Lighter light mayo and whole grain mustard!) steak - sprinkle of light cheese, fat free quorn sausages and gherkins! (A bit of everything I fancied with no carbs!!) and me and the 3 boys shared (but share I mean they demolished way more than me!) the new vegan Ben and Jerrys (bare in mind I eat a normal tub to myself usually 🙈) not so bad at all for a Saturday!!! 👍🏻💖 #day5#lowcarb#nocarb#ibs#ibspain#fibroflare
Day 5 on it! Had apple banana and measured Nutella and peanut butter for breakfast/lunch. A skinny latte too. For dinner we had a fry up. Loads of protein minimal carbs (beans) and banana and pb/Nutella . Also had a glass of Pepsi max (it is Friday!) I know bananas are carbs but still no hard carbs 👍🏻👌🏻 Today my tummy hasn't hurt!! Day 4. Not so good, but no big carbs (carbs = popadoms x 3 . Alpen light x 2 and soreen lunch box x 2) lunch was slice ham, raw broccoli/cauliflower- actually really nice and a sprinkle of cheese. hot choc, yoghurts, jelly. Dinner was 3 Mini ribs and chicken curry with mixed vegetable 'cous cous' . I feel really guilty for how much I've eaten although it's not totally un healthy! Tummy is still hurting... 🙃 keep going sarah, you can do this! Remember this isn't a weightloss diet! I drink Shakeology every single day. Not exaggerating. Every day.

I drank it because I had committed to my personal coach and my fellow challengers that I would drink it daily as part of a healthy lifestyle change. I had no intention of drinking it for more than a few days, much less the full month. But, I noticed fewer cravings, more energy, and an overall feeling of improved health. Combined with healthy eating and exercise, I lost weight and took major strides towards a full, healthy life. It was a few weeks in before I even realized it had solved my chronic digestive issues. Then I thought that maybe it was a coincidence. But here I am, over 365 Shakeology shakes later with ZERO rebounds. None.
Am I (or Beachbody for that matter) guaranteeing you the same results? No. But, I will tell you MY story. I started the #eliminationdiet on Monday and late at night was hit with really uncomfortable pain all over my lower abdomen..
