My Lipslut F*CK KAVANAGH liquid lipstick is finally here! For those who don't know this brand, it's creator Katie wanted a way to raise awareness and help benefit charities after Trump was elected. F*CK TRUMP was the first color released, and it went viral. So when the Kavanagh hearings were going on, and Dr. Ford so courageously testified, she decided it was time for another color! At the time I pre-ordered 100‰ of the profits were donated to organizations that benefit the survivors of sexual assault. That was a temporary promotion, but you can still buy this and support a good cause because 50% of the profits are still donated. You even get to vote on the charity you'd like to support and the one with the most votes is given the donation. I'll be posting a pic of me in this gorgeous deep red soon, but I couldn't wait to share it!
PS. Katie is pretty cool and even personally responds to emails.

#metoo is a relativly new movement that has taken over the whole world, and with good reason. A movement standing for victims of assult, sounds like something most people could get behind. But, I feel since everyone has been so silent about assult in the past, people forget that it's always been this way. Villainizing the person standing up for something, ridiculing them and bringing them down until they're quiet. Because of #metoo , women and men have been able to come foward with more support then ever.
This movie is called North Country, this movie is based off the women workers at Eveleth Mines in Minnesota, these women were the first to file a first class-action sexual harassment lawsuit. The movie is based on true heart turning events, but I believe it is the epitome of what #metoo stands for.
In the photo we have the main charater of the movie, Josey, as she watches the Anita Hill Testimony unfold. Seeing as we just had a huge hearing happen in the US, Ford hearing, I can find a say to connect the two of them. During the hearing for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, many people compared her to Anita Hill, just one woman standing up against the top dogs.
Because I was 19 and didn’t understand that I was raped. Because I was extremely drunk and underage so I thought I would get in trouble. Because I also took pills that night so I thought it was my fault. Because I said yes when he invited me back to his friends’ place. Because I wanted to hangout with him that night. Because after it happened I sank into a depression and began abusing alcohol and pills and became very promiscuous. So this must just be “me” now, I thought. I must have wanted it. I’m shaking as I type this. So I cannot imagine being up on stand. I salute all the brave women going through this difficult time. I SEE you, I BELIEVE you, I AM you.
Whether you choose or are able to tell your story doesn’t make it more or less valid. My intention in sharing my story is to spread understanding and provide hope and voice to others ❤️. If anyone you love or know is struggling please listen to them with understanding. Ask them if they are okay, and most importantly, believe them because most of us can barely believe themselves and this is the number one thing that prevents healing. #believesurvivors
