Cooked myself my 400 cal, healthier, ibd friendly version of an English breakfast this morning which was much needed after a long day a the hospital yesterday. I always try and have a restful day afterwards so apart from school runs and a bit of housework it's a nice dog walk,  telly and crafting for me. simple tomato pasta made from scratch:

one big #carrot
two #celerystalks
one big #onion
three #garliccloves
one small #redchilli
chopp and fry with #ricebranoil until soft and tender then add one can #italianchoppedtomatoes, bring to boil amd simmer for 5minutes. take off the heat, cool and blend well. return the sauce into the pan, season according to taste, add handfull #babyspinach and cooked #wholegrainfussili pasta, heat up well and add a handfull freshly grated #parmesan. 
mix well and serve. so goooooood.

Cooked on stovetop in an olive oil greased pan.

Served with #blueberries and #maple syrup. Delicious and filling meal!

Blanched some carrots and squash to freeze. Made zucchini chips and zucchini ginger snaps that are #glutenfree #sugarfree #dairyfree #soyfree Tomorrow will finish the rest of the #zucchini by making zucchini bread and zucchini #hummus (recipe courtesy of @fatguyinalittleshop )and use the some of the limes to make lime tarts...and if I have any energy left will make some carrot cake, too!

five spice chicken salad:
chopped half #iceberglettuce
two handfulls #babyspinach leaves
wole fresh #cucumber deseeded and chopped
handfull #corriander chopped
three stalks #springonions chopped
few mini #tomatoes cut in half 
toss all together with lime and chilli dressing: juice of half a #lime, one spoon #avocadooil one spoon #honey one chopped #chilli pepper, salt and pepper to taste.
sprinkle one #chickenthigh with #fivespice seasoning, bake in the oven untill cooked through. shred the meat off the bone and stir fry on a dry pan with one #garlicclove, 1cm cube of #ginger chopped, half #redonion thinly sliced, and a sprinkle more of the #fivespice seasoning. fry until crisped a little on the sides.
serve on top of the salad dressed with fresh #corriander leaves.

Using my @farberwareusa smoothie maker to mix ripe banana, avocado, @naturalgrocers almond butter, @hersheycompany cocoa, maple syrup, @spiceislands_ pure vanilla, almond milk and a pinch of salt. Love that my smoothie maker has two small cups with lids- I can eat one now and save one for later! Easy clean up, too!

Sometimes outings with little ones and #IBD can be frustrating with nap times, bathroom breaks, etc. I’ve always been a fan of the bassinet stroller accessory. They provide a proper nap time, sun protection and warmth. 
This is the @uppababy #Minu with a bassinet attachment. I love this stroller because it’s small enough to maneuver through a busy museum. With a single click it folds to the size of wide suitcase. Small enough to fit in an overhead compartment on a plane. Comes with a carrying strap. AND lite enough for my 8 year old to carry! This makes for another #IBDFriendly stroller.

My Hibachi meal at Teppan Edo, Epcot - gluten and dairy free. They actually cleaned the grill and cooked my food before everyone else! My son’s allergy friendly meal was cooked in the back to avoid any cross contamination. And then there was a moment at a seminar, and the facilitator said something just so downright ridiculous. And I LAUGHED I mean, like one of those that's-so-not-cute belly laughs that infect everyone around you with laughter. And I stopped, mid-atrocious-laugh, because I surprised myself. I didn’t realize how much I had forgotten to laugh. Can’t get yourself to laugh? Turn on a funny YouTube video and fake it. Eventually it’ll turn into super real laughter. :) What’s a funny moment you’ve experienced recently?

I don’t share about it much here because while it did completely change the game for me... I’m affiliated with the company that sells it. And IBS Warrior was NEVER about creating an outlet to share shakes. There are a lot of shake marketers out there telling you/us that this is THE thing that’ll regulate your IBS / lose weight / get energy / etc. A lot of them are bullshit. We know cause we’ve spent money on them, and they didn’t do shit. Literally. 
I want to empower you to do what feels right for YOU! To learn to TRUST your gut. I didn’t think this would work for me at all. I thought it was a protein shake. I didn’t know what probiotics were, and then started pooping normally. 😳 I thought... What is this unicorn drink!?! The OTHER caveat. People sometimes DO believe this is the MAGIC BULLET for them, and there’s no such thing. You have to back it with mindset shifts and diet changes. And even then, every one of us (IBS or not) needs to find the probiotic that works best for each of our guts. Luckily, they’re great at letting us know. 💋

This is EV👏🏻ERY👏🏻THING👏🏻. I’ve chatted with a LOT of your now since this page went up last Fall. The stories of the IBS Warriors are both similar and unique. We all “suffer” with the same kinds of fears and worries. We all want to be normal. This disrupts our SOCIAL LIFE. We just want to go out with friends and not worry about it... It disrupts our WORK LIFE. We just want to work without being THAT person in the stall next door... It disrupts our PERSONAL LIFE. Cause like... sex with IBS is a challenge. 
What’s UNIQUE? How you decide to handle it. Did you decide that your standard for life is higher than where you’re currently living with IBS? Did you decide that you can’t afford NOT to change? Did you decide this is a MUST and you’ll do WHATEVER IT TAKES to heal and regulate. ...or if you decide there’s just not enough [enter X excuse / priority] Cause truly. Instead of saying I don’t have the Time (right now) / Money / Resources to heal and regulate... then you’re simply saying it’s not a priority for you. 
Maybe your IBS and it’s consequences aren’t painful enough for you to make a different choice. 
And that’s not bad or good. I lived there for a minute too. It just means you have a different value structure, and your health doesn’t come first. 
But then there are some that do. They decide that even though they don’t have the time right now. They don’t have the money right now. They don’t have the right grocery stores around them right now. They’re going through depression right now.. whatever the fuck fear is screaming at them... they do it anyway. 
And they become their own hero / heroine. They feel normal. They go it with friends. They get promoted. They travel the world. They don’t worry. 
Which fear are you feeding? Are you tired of the bullshit ones yet?

It just means you have a different value structure, and your health doesn’t come first. But then there are some that do. They decide that even though they don’t have the time right now. They don’t have the money right now. They don’t have the right grocery stores around them right now. They’re going through depression right now.. whatever the fuck fear is screaming at them... they do it anyway. And they become their own hero / heroine. They feel normal. They go it with friends. I hear a lot that... 💸💸💸 Healthy food is expensive. I can’t afford to get better. IBS solutions are out of my budget.

What you believe is what will come to be. 
Instead, try saying, “Healing holistically isn’t my priority. I’m unwilling to use my resourcefulness to find the money for the solution I need to live as my highest self.” Because for some people with IBS... it ISN’T their priority. It goes back to that  concept... “Your Hell has to burn hot enough.” Sometimes people aren’t sick ENOUGH for them to do what it takes to put their resourcefulness hat on, trust their gut, and get into inspired action!

And if you’re there, that’s ok as long as it’s ok by you! But we can’t deny the the TRUTH that... healthy food brings you the riches of energy (which in turn helps you make more money by adding more value to people’s lives). IBS Solutions ARE in your spending plan because YOU create your spending plan. 
Which brings us to... How can you afford NOT to? 😳

Don’t wake up to a nightmare 1... 5... 10... years from now and be presented with the woman you COULD have become.

🌱🌰 I did it! This spinach basil pesto sauce tastes great and is IBS-FRIENDLY, LOW-FODMAP, GLUTEN-FREE, DAIRY-FREE, LOW FRUCTOSE (no onion or garlic) 🌰🌱 😂

Recipe: 
1/2 cup olive oil
4 cups spinach leaves 
2 cups basil leaves 
2 teaspoons pine nuts 
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup (coconut/vegan) cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Used buckwheat spirals (found at happytummies.com.au and some Coles stores)

🍓🍌 Daily breakfast lately includes: strawberries, banana, unhulled tahini, @pacificorganics coconut flakes and @flaxfarmsaustralia wheat-free protein mix. Usually eaten with cereal or dairy-free yogurt, but when I didn't have these I moved it onto gluten-free toast which was super delicious 😋

I used to think it was total bullshit when people said this. Total. Bullshit. Like... dawg you clearly haven’t had dark chocolate cake with raspberry filling and chocolate whip topping or mint chocolate chip coconut ice cream or um... a baguette with jam. And then I care here to Life + Wealth Mastery. And then I became healthier than I have ever been in my life. I about had an orgasm over the smell of a smoothie. This is me this morning. I’ve been doing a Mindset of Eating program cause emotional eating is REAL, yo. And the trainer is like, “Step on a scale every morning to know how yesterday worked for you. It’s just a measurement, not a judge.” And it’s going fine. I judge myself less and less for that number on the scale. 
But hold up for a second.

Cause I started working on this LONG before I brought that scale back out. I started doing this thing where every morning, after the shower, I placed focus on things I LIKE about my body… and eventually found things I LOVE about my body. All the #bodyposi peeps are on the rise, and for good reason. They did the thing day in and day out. But this is an inside job. It starts with the repetition of the belief : I’m a fucking goddess.

Even when the number goes up. Even when I’m bloated. Even when I’m reaching for peppermint cause I’m nauseous. Even when I feel most IBS-y. Cause it’s not conditional. 
What’s one thing you love about yourself? Say it loud. Say it proud! 👇🏻
