Time. I feel like I could a lot more time in my life to see and do everything that I want which leads to the other part, Wealth. In order to do everything I want to do it involves a bit of money.
So we can either sit and fret about how we don’t have enough of either or we can shift our thoughts a little bit. Every photo I take allows me to travel a bit in my memories. I can recall and go back to that moment, and it’s like gaining time. As for wealth, I can easily say that I’m rich in life experiences, opportunities and friends that treat me like gold.
So this is the Rijksmuseum. I didn’t get to go in it but we spent time admiring it from the outside from all angles. When we first arrived the sun was bright, there was a 4 piece band playing classical tunes, the number of people and bikes traveling through the gates avoiding each other in a mechanical fashion.
By the time this picture was captured, the sun was slowly setting, 4 men in a boat were singing a tune by Charles Azvanour as they cruised under the bridge and I was balancing on a small fence in order to take this particular photo and I remember thinking, it’s a great day to be here Amsterdam. .
This weekend I ran around Amsterdam and played with different shutter speeds. I finally seem to get the hang of -intentionally- getting blurry objects into my photo. I call it progress #WhereIsJanneke#PhotographyForDummies
