I don't necessarily like running on the treadmill, but it hasn't been too bad this week. I've gotten my strength and running both done in the morning and my legs are feeling pretty great this week. Who knows? Maybe this the turning point in my running I've been waiting for...
✍️Győr, 5fok, kora reggel. Hogy mit csinálok én éppen?! Futok.. futok, mint mindig. Nem tudom abbahagyni, mert szeretem csinálni. Hiszek abban, hogy a futás az egyik legjobb dolog a világon. ☝️Régen amikor elkezdtem sok embertől megkaptam: “Minek futsz?! Nem lenne könnyebb kocsival járni? Hát én biztos nem futok! Mi a franc jó ebben? Semmi értelme a futásnak!” 🏃🏻♂️Tudjátok ezek a mondatok megerősítettek abban, hogy jó úton járok. Nem hagytam abba és folytattam a megkezdett útat. Azóta ezeknek az embereknek a véleménye megváltozott.. Megdícsérnek, többen elkezdtek futni és versenyekre járni,tanácsot kérnek tőlem.
😊Én csak mosolygok, szívesen segítek mindenkinek és csinálom tovább az edzéseket. Néha nem egyszerű. Sokszor van, hogy munka után fáradt vagyok, de elindulok és a végén frissebb vagyok. Feltölt a futás teljesen.
Nem csinálok mást csak teszem a dolgom.. I ran and it wasn’t a race! a little back pain but not bad, and I foam rolled after. I’ve been to PT twice now, that’s going really well. and she was super understanding about the half coming up, I’m just supposed to do my exercises before I run and then take it easy after the race. three weeks left of school!!!
Did you make good use of today?? If the sweat on my shirt could answer for me, it was say: YES!! A 12 hour work day for me today followed by a 7.5 mile tempo run. Normally after such a long day at work I would be tired and ready for bed, but sometimes when you end your day with something you love, it helps you get that extra spring back in your step! Now that extra spring is still stepping me straight to bed, but that means I'm one step closer to Friday!! I hope everyone had a great day and has an even better tomorrow!
Ya'll I had to dig real deep to get to the gym today. My son came in our bed around 2am, which is our normal.🙄🤣 He tossed and turned for a couple hours, until he puked all over himself, us, and our bed.😭🤮 So at 4am we're giving baths, and changing sheets. So not a very restful night. 😴
However, this is a face of someone who ran more than she walked!🏃🏾♀️ Back story for those who don't know, I was diagnosed arthritis in my knees and hip and was told I'd NEVER be able to run again. So I told myself, you're not a runner.🤷🏾♀️ Well last week I started running to prove myself wrong. For 15 minutes I'd walk 1 minute, then run a minute 3x a week. Today I pushed myself, even though I was running on empty. I walked 1 minute, then ran 1.5 minutes! At the end I ran the last 2 minutes!😱😱😱 #Iamarunner #@ww #WWSEATTLE#WWFREESTYLE#WW

Today it was killin’ it at a high-intensity sculpt class at 6am.... sooo many burpees and planks! .
The mud was WAY more fun😊

Throwback Thursday to Sunday! When I ran my 8th half.
I ran my first half marathon almost 11 years ago, at #RunSurfCity . I was 18 and a freshman in college. I remember being in my dorm thinking about how I didn’t have after school sports to keep be active anymore. I needed a goal. Then a girl down the hall was talking about how she was running a half marathon. I thought, “Hmm, yeah, I could do that too!”
My first goal was to just run the whole race. Then my goal turned into running one each year in college. Now, my goal is to complete 10 by the time I’m 30.
Im just now beginning to realize that running is actually a huge part of my life and it’s not just a form of exercise... and I LOVE it! .
Off to get some junk miles in.. Normal service will resume, back to running slow. I am still 200miles behind the target for 2018 and although it looks highly unlikely I will make it, the only way is TRY!
I am hoping for a lovely trail half this weekend, but all the rest is plodding until #hurtwood50k . I am so not ready it’s not even funny!

I don’t think I actually knew what I was signing up for when my friend asked - “Hey, want to run a 50K relay?” I just knew the only answer was YES... because, of course, I want to #doallthethings 🤗
Thank you, @crichs1 for asking this “non runner” to do a race with you! Thanks for training with me and continuing to give me the motivation to get up early, guzzle down a cup of coffee and lace up my running shoes - otherwise, I’m sure the “deal making” demons in my head would have won every morning. ♥️

Totally goofed-off and made-up a "hill variety pack" for my 8 km run this morning. Yup, I totally deviated from the plan and created a route on the fly...crazy, I know. 😂 But you know what? I will totally run this route again!
Been spending most of my time taking special care of this cutie! I'm very grateful all is well with her.
I didnt quite hit 10K steps yesterday but I did however meet my #stepbet daily requirements.
