I just loved driving all around this city. We just went all over exploring. I did want to find this mural dedicated to Kevin Hart! Planning on going to see him when he comes to Nashville. #HusbandAndWifeAdventures
12 years ago it was homecoming week at our high school. I was on crutches due to a bad high ankle sprain from volleyball. The dress up day was movie day and I dressed up as someone from Dodgeball who was on crutches. I have always loved cheap diy cosplay!! I was attempting to stay upright juggling my crutches, books, notebooks, and pencil box. I attempted to open the door and my pencil box came tumbling down along with everything inside, then my books, and everything I was carrying. A nice boy came over and helped me pick up everything and carry it to the table I was going to sit at. 12 years later I am married to that nice boy and we picked up stuff for our costumes at Goodwill for Siouxper Con! I love you @vhs_sethbenson ! Thank you for being so kind to me then and always! #diycosplay#husbandandwifeadventures#foreverkids
Our time in Pittsburgh ended last night driving and walking through the city. Taking in beautiful views and finding more things dedicated to the city's beloved Mister Rogers. We even found where filming took place. The studio that they shot on now holds his name. It's a pretty cool city. #pittsburgh#AnniversaryAdventure#HusbandAndWifeAdventures
We went though Latrobe where Mister Fred Rogers was born, lived through high school, and is now buried in a family crypt. We visited the Fred Rogers Memorial Park, where we felt extra special special as there was a very inebriated man that wanted to show us where to take pictures. *no joking* 😔 We also paid our respects to the man who was apart of so many little lives, including our own. The view from the cemetery where so many sleep had a beautiful view. After a morning of driving through rain the clouds parted and we now have sun. Now onto Pittsburgh to see more Mister Rogers things and to explore the city. As you can see I found some cute shirts for our day. 😊 #latrobe#pennsylvania#misterrogersneighborhood#fredrogers#ripmisterrogers#HusbandAndWifeAdventures
First day of the trip was lots of fun! After landing we ate at the famous Faidley seafood and met one of the owners. She was just the sweetest! We then drove all over a rainy Baltimore seeing some cool stuff like...Babe Ruth's birth place, a Billie Holiday monument, and graffiti ally. We finally got a break from the rain to explore Fort McHenry. We discovered it was 204 years to the day since the Battle of Baltimore. That dawn Francis Scott Key could still see the flag waving, the whole experience inspired him to write a poem that later became what we know as "The Star-Spangled Banner." Then we enjoyed a little baseball and seeing some of Baltimore at night. #celebrating8yearsofmarriage#baltimore#maryland#AnniversaryAdventure#HusbandAndWifeAdventures
To admire beauty is to see it within, as well as from the outside. This is one of my all time favorite beach shots that I took. I’ve taken many, but to see the clouds like this was pure amazement. The beach is always full of magic, I am ready to go back.
