“In order to #survive , we cling to all we know and understand. And label it reality. But knowledge and understanding are ambiguous. That reality could be an #illusion . All #humans live with the wrong assumptions. Isn't that another way of looking at it”
It is a very lonely life that a person leads, who becomes aware of truths before their times.
As one gets older they become more and more comfortable being alone.
They become wiser knowing the difference between loneliness and solitude.
I don't know whether I should be happy or sad? Happy because finally they will receive the justice they deserve. Or sad and angry because it took so long to have such a rule established. That it takes centuries for women to feel safe in their own houses. That in certain places women are treated as utter garbage, just made ready to dispose of at any men's place to become their maid and sex toys. But what about the ones who where already married to their rapists? Is there any law to get them back? Any justice for their plight?
#AloAroundTheWorld Memorable experiences on my mat. For today I will go with freedom. One of the things I first experienced with yoga was to be able to express my emotions through my poses. To move freely to my mood. I started noticing on days I was happy, my poses were stronger and more open, filled with acceptance & compassion for myself and my body, on days were I felt beat down for whatever reason 🤷🏽♀️ my poses tended to be more protective of my heart, I judged myself harder and struggled more during my practice. I could recognize my walls were up. By being able to recognize my feelings at the moment it gave me the power of freedom to choose if I wanted to keep my walls up or if I wanted to make a shift. By opening a little more on my poses I allowed the walls to come down & changed my mood and then something magical 🧙♀️ I started feeling better. How amazing is this yoga thing where we tune into how we feel at every moment of the day and then make a conscious decision on how to react to it. We have that freedom of choice, because we are awake 🧘♀️#namaste @aloyoga @alo.moves

On my morning walk with Bianca. She refuses to do her business where there are cigarette butts and dirty coffee cups. She looks for the cleanest spots todo it, which of course I scoop up after. What does this tell you??? I don’t understand what it will take for humans in our country to learn to be clean and to start caring for their environment. Isn’t our community like our home?? Almost no one ever cleans up after their dogs. Our streets reflect our values so how can we be proud when our country is so filthy that walking on our streets is disgusting 🙁😨☹️ #coachgracekhleif#lessonsinlife#morningwalk#dogs#cleanliness#scoopafteryourdog#careforyourenvironment#values#humans#reflection#lebanon

For me its different as I was born and raised in the UAE, since kindergarden i used to meet kids from different nationalities. We grow up living with the fact that we are all from different countries and cultures, each one has a different way of thinking and living. Its a little bit difficult in the beginning to deal with it but with time you will get used to it and you will get to know more about their cultures and not forget yours as well.
Growing up in UAE has taught me that we are all equal no matter where are we from, how we think and how our parents raise us! I used to hear people back in my country judging other people because of their nationalities only without even dealing with them! Here in UAE its different! We love our differences and we get to live with it, teach and learn from each other languages and cultures. and that its not the nationality that you can judge people with,Its their actions.
There are many good and bad things in a person and that has nothing to do with his nationality. Growing in schools with different Arabs, studying in a university full of Nigerian, Pakistani, Irani and Indian people as well as the europeans and after that working in a multicultural environment is just a great experience for me and it opened my eyes to the real world and fact that we are all humans.
