“We lived, as usual, by ignoring. Ignoring isn’t the same as ignorance, you have to work at it.
Nothing changes instantaneously: in a gradually heating bathtub you’d be boiled to death before you knew it. There were stories in the newspapers, of course, corpses in ditches or the woods, bludgeoned to death or mutilated, interfered with, as they used to say, but they were about other women, and the men who did such things were other men. None of them were the men we knew. The newspaper stories were like dreams to us, bad dreams dreamt by others. How awful, we would say, and they were, but they were awful without being believable. They were too melodramatic, they had a dimension that was not the dimension of our lives.
We were the people who were not in the papers. We lived in the blank white spaces at the edges of print. It gave us more freedom.
We lived in the gaps between the stories”

At a loss for words these days and broken hearted for all that’s going on. In an attempt to rediscover a sense of my own humanity, I’ve been reading about and pondering over the lives of these people (below)—their convictions, morality, integrity, courage and sacrifices. It’s been a difficult challenge for me... without any agenda, I hope glimpses of what they had to say also act as a challenge to some of you as well
“If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.”
- Fred Rogers .
“It really boils down to this: that all life is interrelated. We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied into a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one destiny, affects all indirectly.”
“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”
- MLK Jr .
“We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” “There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.”
- Elie Wiesel .
“Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.” “If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.”
- Mother Teresa .
“We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It's easy to say "It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem." Then there are those who see the need and respond.” - Fred Rogers .
If we were here to ONLY FOCUS ON THE LIGHT as our mission - you'd probably have another contract in another Universe... The mission on Earth - WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW - is to transmute the darkness that appears in front of your eyes - by laser focusing your vibration TO that space.
NOT turning your back on it.
NOT running away from it.
NOT feeling sick about it.
NOT judging it more and keeping it there.
By your LASER FOCUS AND YOUR PRESENCE ALONE.
The Devil. The Shadow. The Darkness.
IS CALLING OUT TO YOU DEAR LIGHTWORKER.
