40 years have passed since the tragic events took place in Haddonfield. Laurie Strode is still alive and watching her back every second of the day. She has trained and prayed that Michael Myers would return. Dr. Loomis has died and another Dr. is watching over Michael. His obsession with him is different from Loomis and he wants to understand him. They attempt to transport him to another mental facility but Michael doesn’t get to make it there. He is loose after all of these years and he’s coming for Laurie and her family. Laurie is ready to finish the job no matter what the cost to finally put an end to the legendary murderer we all know and love.
I have been waiting years for this sequel. I had ridiculously high expectations since it took forever it felt like. I went to see it opening night and had the biggest grin on my face the entire film. This is everything I wanted from this direct sequel to the original. Jamie Lee Curtis is outstanding and it really feels like it’s the second film. They did such a fantastic job with this film that I felt like the other films didn’t even exist. I loved the majority of it and the kills were just right to compare it to the original. I’m happy to say we finally have a phenomenal slasher in theaters again. I hope they continue the franchise and also let @blumhouse reboot or create a sequel to the other iconic horror films we grew up watching. If you haven’t seen this yet you are missing out on something so good it’s hard to be mad about the wait.
I’d give this film a 9/10.

A masked man is killing off women in an institution for the mentally disturbed. The killer has a motive for slashing up these rich and wild women but will he be stopped?
I was scrolling through @shudder and decided to pick a random film. This popped up and I decided to check it out. I figured it’d be a fun little slasher and was sold when I saw the dude from “Nosferatu” was in it. I went in expecting nothing too wild and a generic slasher from the 70s and was wrong. This movie is an Italian film and I usually enjoy foreign films plus they recently restored it. This is some of the worst voice over work I’ve ever heard and one of the shittiest slashers I’ve seen to this date. The film has honestly no plot other than a random dude runs around at night and kills the women In their sleep then the director gets close up pussy shots and they move to the next girl. The acting is awful, the plot sucks, the directing is hilariously bad. It’s like the director took a bunch of girls to a mansion and said “Hey, you’re gonna be naked and then die and then we’re gonna zoom in on your pussy for like 30 seconds and move to the next girl” It was so bad that I laughed but obviously kept watching it. I can say I never have seen a movie with so much nudity that wasn’t a porno but now I can. This is a hard pass although I did have a few laughs throughout because of how terrible it was all around.
I’d give this film a 1/10.
20 years ago was a struggle to find any sort of legal access to Sailor Moon outside the English adaptation.
Uncut episodes, subbed and original Japanese dialogue. I’m forever thankful for Hulu.
Movie: Batman (1989)
This movie was a blast. Tim burton really is an incredible director, and he really shows it here. Michael Keaton played a great Batman, and it can clearly be seen a by he is one of the better actors we have seen. Jack Nicholson’s Joker was an incredible villain, who was one of the stand out characters of the movie. Kim Basinger was a great love interest for Bruce Wayne and I of course have to mention the great Billy Dee Williams, even tho his role was small. The music was spectacular and done by the great Prince (RIP), the characters were great, the acting was phenomenal, and the action was great was well. My only issue was there couple of moments that were a little weird.

Why is everyone on this show so goddamn hot??? Who is your fave??
To add to this, make sure to ALWAYS dress the part. Casting directors need to see how you will look in the role you’re reading for. Help the casting department by facilitating this visual element.
Not to mention, 98% of you are failing to do a number of these things to it’s fullest extend.
Even if you believe you’re doing all of these, chances are you’re not getting 1 callback out of 2 auditions.
Before you go to an audition this week, pull this up and use this as a check list. DO NOT half-ass any of these.
Execution of these at 500% will guarantee consistent callbacks. This is what it takes.

Let’s get Cronenberged with David Cronenberg’s The Fly. Jeff Goldblum plays Seth Brundle, a scientist who discovers teleportation. While testing his machine a fly finds its way into the machine alongside him. What David Cronenberg does to him next is what gets this movie in my 13 days of horror.
