Bubby got back to the floor & crawled back into the now cool nylon sleeping bag that had lost his body heat when he had answered the door. Both Nova & Nia were sleeping soundly with not a peep coming from either of them. All that could be heard was the heat rattling the register gate as it pushed warm air out from under the bed. Tucking his pillow under his head he closed his eyes. He knew he wasn’t going to be able to sleep but maybe closing his eyes he could focus & try to read James’ thoughts as to his whereabouts. He had wanted to head out the door, to run down whomever had brought Nia home & even tho Nova had encouraged him, it was collectively decided amongst his brothers that he stay close for Nova should something bad arise. She would need his support. He knew his brothers that had headed out were good hunters but he couldn’t help but feel helpless laying on the bedroom floor..... #adultdollstories#dollstories#fanfiction#storyteller#romancewriter#writersofinstagram#onesixthscale#wolverine#hughjackman#poppyparker#barbie#barbiegram#dollstagram#dollphotography#barbiehouse#onesixthscale
After Patch had hung up the phone, he found that the halls were now quiet & mostly turned down for the night. He hated to go to Nia’s room to disturb her, but he needed to let her know that Dillion was now on her way. Wrapping on the door lightly a few times with his middle knuckle, he stood back & waited for an answer. “Bubs, what are you doing?” Patch whispered in surprise noticing that he was bare chested & in pajama bottoms. Bubby stepped out & closed the door to the back of his heels so their voices wouldn’t rouse the girls. “Nova & I are camping out in Nia’s room tonight. You can’t pry those girls apart right now if you tried” he explained. Patch nodded. “What are you doing?” Bubby asked after a moment of looking both ways down the dark & empty hallway. “I just got off the phone with Dillion. She’s on her way” Patch said with an assertive nod. “How she doin’?” He followed. “She’s got cramps & was crying but finally fell asleep about 10mins ago. I’m hoping it’s just dehydration.” Bubby answered shrugging a shoulder. Patch sighed heavily. “I don’t have good feelings about this tho, Patch” he admitted. “Dillion is on her way.” Patch again confirmed with a loss of what else to say for he felt the same..... #adultdollstories#dollstories#fanfiction#storyteller#writersofinstagram#romancewriter#onesixthscale#wolverine#hughjackman#dollstagram#barbie#barbiehouse#barbiegram#dollphotography

Agora só falta tirar uma com a Meryl Streep pra completar o trio de O Diabo Veste Prada 😂😂 #hughjackman#emilyblunt

#274 The Greatest Showman -
The story of P.T. Barnum and the creation of his circus. It’s interesting to see the reactions people have had toward this film with some declaring it to be one of their all-time favorites and others calling it utter garbage. I’m honestly somewhere in the middle with some terrific elements and some that really bothered me, but there’s just enough good stuff here to warrant a mild recommendation.
Starting with the stuff I liked, I think the actors are giving it their all particularly Michelle Williams who gives the best performance in the film, and they’re clearly very talented when it comes to the song and dance routines. The music itself is full of songs that I find myself singing and listening to often, and they work well within the context of the story for the most part. The costumes are fantastic, it’s wonderfully shot, and it’s well-paced with rarely a dull moment.
As for the stuff I didn’t like, I REALLY didn’t care for taking a figure as interesting as P.T. Barnum and sanitizing him to make his story more appropriate for the family audience. I’m a big fan of Rebecca Ferguson, but I didn’t care for her or her first musical number which doesn’t fit her character at all. The production design is often terrific, but just as often, it looks too fake especially during the opening number with some unconvincing CGI animals.
As a musical, the film works with songs that I really do enjoy, but when the film focuses on the story, I find it to be flawed just like the real Barnum’s life. It’s cheesy and old-fashioned and occasionally hollow, but it’s also entertaining during many moments so I can totally understand why some love and others hate it. Like I said earlier, I’m somewhere in the middle with just a bit more things I like than not so I’m going to give The Greatest Showman a B-.
