We got this massive bunch of flowers delivered to us by mistake, so I did what any normal human would do...accepted them, stuck them in a basket, rounded up my kids and took 6,348 photos...so expect to see another 6,347 photos of pretty much this scene. But seriously I’m curious how many photos people have on their camera rolls? I may or may not disclose the ridiculous amount I have 😬 #isthisasafespace
I suspect we’re in the minority these days as people who DO actually use their formal living rooms. Ours stays outside of the garage-family room-kitchen traffic and clutter, allowing it to be a serene and pretty place to read, drink coffee, or maybe even compose Instagram posts! 😜
Before I go to sleep let me introduce you guys with “SUZAN”. It is from Kars region has lovely fall colors and rare design. Did you notice the little girl figure on the rug, that’s lovely.
DM me if you are interested!
Did you catch my after dark home tour on the blog today? If not- now is the perfect time... pajamas are encouraged! I shared our house after the sun went down with all of the lights turned on. It’s fun to see it from a different perspective. The truth is, I like our home just as much in the evening as I do during the daytime.
Not a great photo, but it made me laugh to see these three cats lined up to use this litter box. It was in another room and was just moved here temporarily. We have four litter boxes and these three use this one 90% of the time. I have to keep the lace curtains folded up out of the way to keep the kitten from playing with them. 🙀

Sometimes I just open and close this door for the fun of it because it’s so chunky and makes the most satisfying noise. Any other weirdos that like the tiniest details and noises in their house?

We made it onto the Portland Favorites list of one of our design gurus as a top place to shop! "[City Home offers] a huge selection of furniture, accessories, art and textiles at really reasonable prices and while most of their selection is mass produced, they are pieces that feel special and that we hadn’t seen before. They do such a wonderful job of curating a collection of beautiful goods and we loved working with them." - @em_henderson
@urabnitepdx, where we have a boutique, made the list too 🎉
Seeing @chelseamohrman's gallery nook here has us itching to do some exploring at our local thrift shops. To our friends in the Twin Cities, where is your favorite place to find thrifted treasures? We're quite fond of @huntandgathermpls. Thanks @chelseamohrman for sharing your space on the #curblylovewhereyoulive tag! 💛
All about the white, blush + gold // ✨ currently packing (stuffing) my suitcase for our 7-day trip to Colorado! Angelo and I are SO excited to enjoy our first real vacation together in the almost 9 years we’ve been together. I know 😐 I’ll be posting some bomb ass photos of the mountains I’ve waited years and years to see via my stories! 📷 @abeautifulmess
The Boho great room is transformed once again for an event we are co-hosting tonight with @parachutehome! @mattercreative, @clairezinnecker, and @hanksaustin brought it all to life with natural elements, @parachutehome linens, and delicious food and drinks. I know I say it often, but watching the transformation of this space is pretty dang special. Take a look at our stories for a peek behind the scenes!
Design tip - always order fabric samples. ✅ This client was pleasantly surprised when I brought in the samples of colors she had nixed online. “Order it!” 🙌🏻🌿🙌🏻 Photo credit :: Hillary Ehlen of @designandlivingmagazine
The kids’ bath at our #51streno project is anything but boring. We kept the tile selections classic and neutral which allowed us to have fun with the vanity color and vintage rug. Check out the full reveal on the blog. Builder: Bent Nails PC: @johncwoodcock
I know my account is basically a diary of my home (hence the name). I also know this picture isn't necessarily my home...but really it is...I took this picture last time we were in Chicago (where I was born and raised) and it truly is my original "home". Along this Chicago River walk is one of my favorite places to go whenever I go back and visit. Shaunie and I have taken so many strolls through here at various points in time of our relationship. From when we were just two high schoolers with some big dreams, to young college parents, to times in between all that, to where we are now...Being by this river always brings me joy and a sense of peace. Chicago will always be a part of my home!
