It's been a while since I posted anything for #monsteramonday and in that time all of my monsteras have been busy unfurling new leaves. They're loving this tropical Yorkshire summer! (Me too! 😀)
Monster deliciosa leaves in the evening light casting long shadows 💚🌿
Happy #monsteramonday everyone! Here’s a new leaf on one of the Steve’s (all my monsteras are called Steve, I have 8 of them that have been cut from one plant!) isn’t it just so beautiful? Shiny new leaves make me swoon! 😍💚
I bought Penny on a whim as she was discounted due to having lost some leaves. However with some love and care she bounced back quickly. Her top leaf has gotten so big, it's simply marvellous. She has also started to have little pups of her own. All in all, she's doing good 👌
She can be a little tricky to look after, especially when it comes to finding the right balance between water and sunshine, however she is easy to read as her leaves droop quickly if she's not happy or start to discolour.
She would make a great work desk companion, I keep her in my study as she brightens up my mood quickly
◾ She does have one morphed leaf in the middle (which is being hidden in this photo by the monster leaf), not entirely sure if this is normal? If anyone could help with that that would be great. It's almost like the leaf never really unfurled properly, so it doesn't look as smooth and round as the others. Am not sure whether to leave it or trim it off.
