Day 14 was a day of firsts. First time this trip that I've had to stop early for rain. Only 20km in and the rain and wind hit as I got into Kendal. Took a break for lunch hoping for it to subside but alas it was a forlorn hope. Even tried getting back out there to see if it was worth it to get further down the track but nope, didn't feel comfortable at all so I booked into a hostel for the night, a very friendly and cosy one indeed. These pet hostels always make me happy, and dogs always seem to hate getting photos hence the blurry picture 😄
Also today was a first that I decided to train a part of the journey, a) to catch up some time, and b) I didn't want to be stranded in small villages not being able to find accommodation through couchsurfing or otherwise.
Good decision in the end I think!
Hopefully a better day tomorrow 🤙

Our journey in Oz wouldn’t be complete without enduring farm work to extend the visa! ~
About 6 months ago we arrived in Bundaberg and started picking lemons[insert life/lemons joke] to complete the 88days of regional farm Work. ~
But at least we looked super fly while doing it!!👌📸🦄
