Anybody seen our Creative Director? Oh, that’s right—we left him under the giant pile of Tillandsia. Help us save Trevor and take home a few of these epiphytes for your hanging vases and shelf displays. #SaveTrevor
Happy Tuesday, chubby-plant lovers! It's a MonoTYPIC Tuesday today as we continue talking about Fenestraria Rhopalophylla every day this week with a new topic each day !
Fenestraria is a monotypic genus, meaning it's comprised entirely of just one species, Fenestraria Rhopalophylla, and one subspecies, Fenestraria Rhopalophylla Aurantiaca. Monotypes are fairly rare in nature as plants are quick to evolve and split into unique specializations. Fenestraria is one of a handful of Mesembs to be monotypic, like Lapidaria, though the status of it's subspecies, F.R. Aurantiaca, is currently under review and may shake up the entire genus! Scientists are trying to determine whether its proper status is that of a fully unique species or a subspecies of Fenestraria Rhopalophylla, where it currently resides! This subspecies has golden yellow colored flowers, unlike the stark white of the main species, though they share identical physical characteristics and natural habitats. Fenestraria Rhopalophylla Aurantiaca has been further bred in cultivation to create a variation known as Fireworthhas with very large orange flowers, bigger and more intensely colored than in the regular Fenestrarias, and entierly unseen in nature !
Today's post features my beauty of a succulent! Do you have Fenestraria Rhopalophylla in your collection already? I’m all about practicing positivity, love, and happiness in my life, but I started my day less than stellar.
I woke up with a headache and felt foggy even after 8 hours of sleep and not every day will start off great, and that is completely okay.
I snacked on my vegan cheese puffs while driving to work this morning and had my Starbucks, so things are looking up ✨
The lenses you choose to view the world are what dictate the future outcomes and I am still feeling the high vibes so my day will be just fine 👀
This lovely was originally given to me as a gift, but quickly grew to be one of my favorite plants of all times - the American Asiatic Lily ❤️❤️❤️ Their crinkled and curled leaves are the most stunning petals I’ve ever had in my garden!
Contact if interested!
Have you heard? 🎉 With great excitement we announce our partnership with @antiquesgardensbham from Oct. 4-7. We'll be transforming the front entryway - you won't want to miss it (or @marthastewart🚨who will be speaking that Friday, 10/5!). See you there!
They are manufactured from a sterile material and will firmly keep your clones stable while their roots begin to form. Cloning collars can easily be removed from your cuttings via the cross section once the time comes to transplant them.

Couple others! 🌵
The Golden Pothos is an evergreen vine plant with variegated, heart shaped leaves. Also called Devil’s Ivy because of its extreme endurance, the Golden Pothos will happily overgrow any pot you give it, and create these beautiful, long vines of thick leaves. A little known fact is that it’s part of the herb family! 💚

The Fairy Castle Cactus is named after its dense and numerous five-sided stems, which are said to resemble turrets on a castle. While the slow growing cactus can flower, is is very unlikely, and even more so when the plant is younger than the age of 10.

The African Spear Plant, or Sansevieria Cylindrica, is a ridiculously resilient succulent that is native to Angola. Only two things can truly kill this plant - cold temperatures, and soggy soil. This plant can sometimes be seen trained similarly to lucky bamboo, which can be braided or grown in a variety of interesting ways.

The Sempervivum, or Hens-and-Chicks is a plant which’s uniqueness can only be shown in a video. From the seemingly spiderweb-infested bulbs, to the more spiked low growing parts, to the small pink flowers - nothing about this plant is expected.

After seeing its demanding roots, it should be no surprise that the Ficus Microcarpa is commonly known as a very aggressive plant - which can grow through structures made of even concrete. While it’s commonly used as an ornamental tree nowadays, when growing freely in the Mediterranean, the Ficus can grow to around 40 feet tall, with a thick canopy to match. 🌳💚 Contact for more info!
This lovely is a new addition to the family - the Pink Angel. The name come from the very eye-catching pink veinous designs on the leaves. The Pink Angel makes a wonderful bedside companion due to its love of medium-low light. 💚💕 Contact for more info!
One of my favorite plants of all times - The Ghost Plant. Growing on long branch-like structures, this succulent has a somewhat silver/blue tint to it, which can sometimes look more red or orange depending on the amount of sunlight it’s given. This plant constantly stretches for the light, and makes for a very interesting house plant (and conversation starter!) Contact for more info
With a name like ‘Black Prince’, what’s not to love! With proper care, this succulent typically grows up to be a round, low growing plant. This one is a little too small to propagate, but will soon be able to create many new plants just like it. 💚🖤 👑

This is a plant with almost as many names as it has babies. Whether you call it the Mother of Millions, Mother of Thousands, Devil’s Plant, The Mexican Hat Plant, or just ‘the one with a lot of babies’, this plant is very satisfying and easy to take care of. The leaves grow very quickly with proper attention, and even faster start popping off babies of its own. This IS a succulent, and therefore loves light, and storing water in its leaves. 💚💚 Contact for more info
Aloe Vera is a very well known plant, all because of its unique looks, medicinal properties, and home decor flare. 🌱✨Each of these three small ones came from the same mother plant - which creates many small aloe shoots when given proper care and love. Related to other succulents, this plant absolutely loves sunlight, and does much better as an indoor plant. They do not require heavy watering. :) Contact for more info💚
Most commonly mistaken as the common fig that we all know, the Brown Turkey Fig is a much more resilient plant. It can grow in most sandy or clay-dense areas, and even areas with inconsistent weather. And yes, it does grow figs 💚🍀 DM/Email for more info
Two Mango and one smaller avocado tree 💚While they may not produce fruits for a number of years, these young trees are quite the zesty tropical plants. Need to be inside for the winter.
