Love and laughter is the answer to everything! Clients often ask what do I do? If you ever find yourself not knowing what to do...look at your kids, hug them, squeeze them, kiss them, tickle them, play with them ❤️ Just simple interaction can make a huge difference.
I can't do this.
I am not good enough.
The market is already saturated.
There is too much to learn and not enough time to learn it all.
People will judge me.
People won't like my style.
Marketing yourself is weird and awkward.
Can the list get any longer? Almost one year ago, I decided to stop the negative self-talk, quit talking myself out of everything I started doing, and just dive ahead into photography full time. I have learned a lot this last year, made some mistakes, met new people, taken a lot of classes, snuggled on the cutest babies, learned how to use Instagram, and have had a lot of fun. BUT, the most valuable thing I have gained from the experience is that doubt just holds us back and gets us nowhere. All of my doubts were probably valid, except for one: "I can't do this" because you know what? I DID IT. Thank you all for following along as I went out on a limb this year, for those of you who have supported me and encouraged me and helped me along the way. I freaking love you for your support! For those of you in the rut of negative self-talk...please just STOP. Nobody will ever believe in you if you don't believe in yourself. You have something that needs to be shared with the world. So go make it happen. You won't regret it. What have you always wanted to do but keep talking yourself out of? Tell me in the comments below!

Lean into Relationships. It’s probably not the level of your cholesterol or the zeros in your package that will determine how you’ll grow old..?
Every now and then, I revisit this old @ted talk by Robert Waldinger. As the fourth director of the longest study on adult life, he’s tracked lives from age 19 to 90, only to discover that the secret to Good Life is as simple as ‘good relationships’. Close, quality relationships and connections don’t just keep you happy but protect your brain and body from the slings and arrows of time. “It’s wisdom as old as the hills but so hard to get and so easy to ignore”, he reflects with a benign smile.
Bumping into this warm couple in the Basilica was a good reminder to re-evaluate some goal posts. #reminderstoself#oneslowman

How do you raise a son in this day and age? I will be in honest,I am scared to know how it should be. But amidst the uncertainty, one thing I am sure of is that I love this boy so very much, that I promise to be present in his life and I promise to supply him with happy memories of his childhood and his family, so that when he’s ready to start his own he will feel whole, he will be ready.💗 Senti mode😫
It's not often that I have guest bloggers, but today I have three!! @braverman2 , @kaymich94 , and @becksb888 shared their thoughts on what a documentary session with me was like, and I am passing their answers on to you! If you've ever been curious, then come take a read.
You also do NOT want to miss the photos from my session with Gin and Bret and that precious little Yogi pictured above. We had such a blast at their session, and I absolutely loved every second I spent with them! Head over to the link in my bio and follow it to my latest blog post!
318/365 He loves sitting at my desk with me after school while I work. And not just anywhere at my desk, but right beside me. The dogs even get pushed out of the way and fussed at regularly because they're in his spot. He could easily sit on the side of my desk ... but that's not close enough (we had this discussion today 😉). He will eat his snack, do his homework, watch science videos, sing along with Twenty One Pilots songs as he reads the lyrics on the computer screen, play games on the laptop, or just curl up in the chair with a book. And of course, he tells me whatever random thoughts are whirling around in his head, reads the funny parts of his books to me, and asks a thousand questions. I love our afternoons. ❤️
Hello Everyone! Since I'm currently on vacation and taking a small break from editing, I thought I would introduce myself on here!
1- Yes, Fallon is my first name!...Not my last name! Yes, it's spelled just like Jimmy Fallon. 😉
2- My husband took this photo of me, and in the very next shot, I was snort laughing! Not so pretty. 🤣 He is the best at making me laugh!
3- I have three children - ages 7, 5, and almost 2! They inspire and challenge me everyday. They have taught me what is truly important in life. 💖 The raw, authentic moments...the ones I am so passionate about capturing in my photographs.💕
4- I love cupcakes. I'm a little obsessed with them. That is all. 🤷♀️
5- I fell in love with photography many years ago (even before having kids!), but it was not until just over a year ago that I had an amazing mentoring session with a lifestyle photographer! That was a game changer for me...I have thrown myself into it since then! 📷
5- I am also a pharmacist! I ran a diabetes clinic in a family practice office and was an assistant professor in a doctor of pharmacy program! 💊
7- I love to run 🏃It clears my mind and gives me inspiration! I just need to make more time for it! 🙄
8- I have lived in Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida since I was 6 years old! I consider myself basically a native Floridian since I've been here now for 30 years! 🌴☀️ I love where I live!
Nice to meet you all!!!! ❤️💖💕💗

317/365 I had to force myself to take a photo of something today. It seems so wrong to take and share a picture of something that makes me happy while my heart is breaking. I have been in a fog since late last night when I found out my best friend of 27 years died. Thanks to living states apart and busy schedules, Frankie unfortunately never got to meet her. 😞
Even though I didn't feel like taking a picture today, I am even more appreciative of my photo a day projects now and all of the little moments I've captured the past 682 days ... including this one. Just a typical evening of these two playing before Frankie goes to bed. Never take the little moments for granted. ❤️
