it’s definitely a day late but everyday I’m thankful 🥰
thankful for a husband who takes on my crazy ideas like building farmhouse tables for the wedding. and after seeing these amazing pictures from @rachellizphotography my heart is so full at how talented he truly is at making me happy. and building things. we walked into @homesteadblessings for the first time in early 2017 and all I could picture was farmhouse tables in that venue
thankful to see these pictures and our actual vision come to life is mind blowing. I searched on Pinterest for building plans and we made it happen. we actually built tables for our wedding. who does that?! we do
it truly is magical and beautiful to look at these tables. I miss them so much but it makes my heart so happy that every future bride will have the opportunity to use them for their vision. that every bride will get to see what I saw and not have to go through the crazy idea of building them
thank you @itsliamcald for always making my dreams come true, @anawhitediy for DIY plans, @rachellizphotography for capturing it, and @homesteadblessings for making a forever home
Have we ever said how much we love working with @felonydonutz?! The best food. The best service. Every single time.
This weekend is a big one for us with events during the week and two special weddings this weekend! Of course, Mr & Mrs Walker will be helping us the whole time!
It’s prime fall season and we are so excited for all of our amazing couples 💛
Tomatoes are not The only thing we can. And thankfully we are almost done with them! Anyways, we like to can fruit as well. Like these so so good, perfectly delish pears that we picked from our friends farm. Oh, they are so good! I think pear are my fav. Yep, pretty sure. We canned these pears in an extra, extra, extra light simple syrup. It is safe to can fruit in just water but the sugar helps them maintain their texture and color. .
What is your favorite thing to can? Do you have any unique recipes? Please do share!
Had a nice sunset stroll with my favorite homestead helpers! I don't know what I did to deserve this hard-working man, this land, and a wonderful little boy. But I love it!
Playing along with @moderndaysoldways @mitzacreekfarm @atablefullinthewoods @lostandfarmed @growingjubilance for Day 3 of #gettoknowahomesteader 🌞
this past weekend blew every expectation I had out of the water and then some. I could not believe after more than a year of planning our wedding, it was absolutely perfect.
from my amazing bridesmaids who set up the reception to the groomsman who road shirtless on our truck to set up the ceremony 2 hours before getting ready; and all of the guests at our wedding who showed us so much love. it was a blur of laughter, crying, and some amazing memories.
also, a big shout out to our amazing vendors - this day could not have been possible without you.
@itsliamcald, you are perfect and you made every wedding dream of mine come true. you worked so hard to build everything I wanted and you always knew you would make my dream come to life. I don't know how I got so lucky in finding you. I choose you, always 💕11.11.17 | 09.18.15
It's raining! We always need rain so that's good but it means I'm not working in the garden. It's nice to have a break sometimes and I'll take it with a smile even though I have some projects that need finished. Hey, there's always produced that needs processed. 😊 So glad I got the strawberries moved yesterday, this rain is perfect for them. Now how about a picture a colorful produce to brighten up this rainy day! .
A BLESSED day to you all!!!😁💜💜💜
