You can’t get much done in life if you only work on days when you feel like it... and right now I definitely don’t feel like it; so I put on a cute workout outfit to motivate me and I get that shit done anyways 💪🏼 You’ll be waiting around a while if you wait for your motivation... you have to CREATE IT.

Started back tonight after a week with a Deadlift Assistance workout. Took a few deload days then had a family issue come up that kept me busy for a few days. Anyway, I started off with Stiff Leg Deadlifts. The videos are 335x5, 295x7, and 275x10. Did 2 sets of each. I call them stiff legs but obviously my legs aren’t stiff. I hinge back until I feel my legs taught and I feel it 100% from my glutes down to the back of my knees. I think the literal stiff leg movement is more for bodybuilding. I think anything with a hinge setup is optimal for deadlifts, like Pendlay Rows for instance. Next I did single arm deadlifts with the Farmers handle up to 200 lbs for 5x5 per side. These exercises will be done beltless indefinit to help build my abs up more. The surgery screwed with my bracing. Also did 4 sets of 20 on V grip Pulldowns and 4 sets of 15 with bodyweight on back extensions. Heavy day in 4 days 👍

Treating yourself doesn’t involve shame or guilt when you keep your healthy habits in place (working out, drinking your shake, drinking enough water, etc). It’s okay to have cookies and it’s okay to ENJOY them! 🤤
We all know I’m obsessed with my nephew! Seriously, I’m not shy about it. I love how he’s so curious about his auntie working out. This week, he told me that he could only use a small weight ☺️. So with weight in hand and resistance band as his sweat band, we did one set together. Little man hung in there for about 30 seconds.
I love his little soul so much. I wish I was as eager about physical activity as he is when I was his age.
Start the good habits young. In @80dayobsession, @autumncalabrese is constantly reminding us to be the example because we don’t know who’s watching us - who’s learning from us. She’s right.

Said I’d do it (and this was something I’d wanted to do even before getting the bike at home), but went spinning while watching the game.
Goal was to stay 90-95 RPM through the entire game. Each lap is for a quarter + a 10 minute free spin at the end. The 10m pause is during halftime, when I stopped for a quick water and bathroom break. Also picked it up to 100+ during the 2 minute drills (while clock was running.
Ending Sunday well and getting ready to start a new week.
