This is a picture of my 2 car garage that i decided to turn into a full on #garagegym about a week ago. As you can see I had/have a lot of work to do. Over the next month or 2 this thing is going to be turned into my dream home gym(minus all the crazy expensive equipment.) I’ve done hours of research and searching to find the best bang for my buck, and between that and cleaning/remodeling the whole garage, in all I estimate over 20+ hours to create what I wanted. I’m sorry I didn’t post yesterday... we got home from camping unpacked, worked out snuggled the dogs and just felt like doing nothing! .☠️
I intended to workout in the woods but my phone didn’t download my workout fully.  So I did it when I got home.. not my best workout, I love doing it in the morning when I’m fresh and full of energy!! I did increase weights and worked my 🍑off doing the HIIT component!! Happy weekend all!!

Ignite cardio 2 from bodyshred is way tougher than Killer Cardio!! Baby Boy is just around 3LBS. 😄💙🙌🏼 I also passed my Glucose Test and all my my third trimester blood work came back perfect! 🙏🏼 Such a blessing both our boys have been to us! 20-miles 🎉🎉🎉🎉 And I’ve mastered getting my phone out & taking a selfie without stopping 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Ran the first 12 miles at easy heart-rate: 135bpm. Then attempted to pick it up a bit at 160bpm for the remainder. Did great for 6-miles then the last two killed me, HR was still 160bpm but the pace slowed right down (disappointing end, but a great & impressive 18 miles). Last night I ate a tub of ice cream & did yoga. Not sure which is the one that helped this run. I played around with my new @hopefitnessgear bands yesterday and created this little full-body workout for ya!

Banded knees are a great way to increase that glute burn on exercises like squats and lateral steps, but it’s important to follow a few key rules:
.
👉🏼Don’t step out so wide that you simply drag the back foot along (lateral walks).
👉🏼Don’t allow the knees to collapse inward (drive them out).
👉🏼Maintain tension on the band.

I love to find ways to use my bands for core and upper body, too! Try out these plank lateral stepouts for a shoulder burn like no other. 🔥

Focus on your alignment. When everything is in its place, embrace the burn! .

Banded knees are a great way to increase that glute burn on exercises like squats and lateral steps, but it’s important to follow a few key rules: . 👉🏼Don’t step out so wide that you simply drag the back foot along (lateral walks). 👉🏼Don’t allow the knees to collapse inward (drive them out). 👉🏼Maintain tension on the band. . Curtesy lunges 4 x 12 each leg 
Banded hip thrusters: 4 x 20

One DB Squats: 4 x 10 (this method helps me keep weight off of my back. Because I have a history of a broken vertebrae I have to be wise in my exercise choices) 
Reverse lunges: 4 x 10 each leg 
Calf raises: 4 x 15 —this is a quick at home workout!

After a whirlwind international business trip at 34 weeks pregnant I can offer the following tips and observations.
-Get a note from your doctor stating that you're medically cleared to fly!  I was asked for it both times.
-Pack light!  You're already lugging around an almost fully grown baby so why add more weight?
-Look for priority lines! Traveling to Latin America has priority lines for pregnant women, families with small children, senior citizens and passengers with additional needs.  I entered into the regular line at one point and a Chilean customs agent came out of his booth to escort me to be next in line!
-Chile in particular has a pre-maternity leave policy so they aren't used to seeing bellies as big as mine in business suits and meetings!  I got asked a lot of questions about why I was still working, let alone doing international travel!  Everyone wanted to carry my bag, offer me an arm to walk down the stairs and make sure I had everything I needed.
-Drink tons of water.  Duh!  And because you're drinking so much water you'll have to get up a lot to pre and that movement helps keep circulation flowing.
-Use compression socks for the flight.  I had no issues swelling.
-On the overnight flight, don't try to sleep the whole way.  There's no point.  Eat the meal, watch a few movies and when your eyes are barely starting open, close them and sleep for a few hours.  A body with 34 week pregnant belly is just not going to sleep comfortably for more than 4 to 5 hours on a plane.  And within those 4 or 5 hours you'll still wake up to pre in the middle anyway. -Being this pregnant on a plane can make some people nervous. My neighbor on the flight back was an older gentleman who didn't say one word to me until we landed safely.  In the morning he said to me that he'd been praying my safety and smooth travel through the night.  Some people just aren't used to seeing super pregnant women kicking ass.  That's ok.

-Stay super intune to your body, baby and your belly.  Do several "body checks" where you take a few moments to really scan how you're feeling.  Mentally and physically.  Is your body feeling ok?

When you’ve managed to get yourself an air bike and a rower for times you can’t be bothered or are too tired to get to the box so do yourself a lil 2min on 2min off bike and rower Tabata. For the price of a #lululemon outfit , I was able to start a business where I would turn a profit in month 1 by working 2 hours a day (depending on when the kids napped)😳😳😳. Let that sink in for a second. 
But the best part of it all was that I can grow my income as fast and as BIG as I want to (that 2% raise I used to get per year was crap) 🙌🏼❤️. I’m so grateful everyday that I saw a post on Facebook 3.5 yrs ago about turning fitness into a business and I said “yes” (when I was hesitant) !!
