“My parents told me I'd point to a bed of flowers and say 'Pink. Pretty,' before I knew any other words.” ~Joni Mitchell 🌸 🌱#Hollyhock (Alcea rosea): the beautiful and regal hollyhock is a staple #cottagegarden favorite. It is part of the mallow family and grows 5-6 feet tall (some grow to 9’) and comes in a wide variety of beautiful colors. It is mostly #annual but there are some #perennial varieties and it often self seeds. #fullsun and moist, rich, well drained soil. 🌸See my page for another view.

Happy Tuesday! Here is your oracle message👇🏻
🌈Hummingbird & Hollyhock(Abundance)💜
I was happy to pull the hummingbird card because it not only represents joy but it’s also on the cover of the animal allies deck and I’ve never pulled it before. *I later noticed I pulled the abundance card on the 11th of last month too!!!
The hummingbird as well as this Hollyhock abundance card tells us that we need to be grateful for what we have. We must live in a space of gratitude in order to attract more positive abundance to our life. Abundance is not just monetary, it is also the relationships in our lives, our health, and our happiness. The hummingbird’s wings flap in a infinity symbol pattern, so with this abundance card I am getting the message that all of the abundance we will ever need is already inside of us, we just have to be ourselves. The hummingbird, though small, is capable of flying how other birds cannot. In addition, hollyhock is also a plant favored by hummingbirds. How perfect! You have more, and ARE more than what you currently believe and see. Follow your joy today and you will not be let astray. Happiness is the most important thing about living, and if you are not actively working on allowing yourself to be blissful and grateful, then what are you doing? I have spoke a lot lately and have also been seeing a lot of messages saying that in order to create the world that we’re all dreaming of, we must start living with a thankful heart. All the rest will work itself out when we allow the universe to do its “job.” Everything happens for a reason even if you cannot see that reason yet.
Here are some garden highlights from this week: new #heliconia stems. First #cherries , #gingerplant is doing well, my #herb garden is doing well except for that devil plant cilantro, random flower, more random coral flowers, #gladiolus flowers (apparently they are a really big thing in Russia and surrounding countries), my first #dahlia is flowering, #hollyhock are about to start flowering. Excited to see what colours they have. #plants#flowers#garden
Yesterday’s Hollyhock Collective was amazing! We spent three delicious hours together weaving in guided meditation, sharing our hopes and challenges, expressing our vision for the next month and beyond, gathering intuitive insights, exploring different oracle and tarot decks, doing some speed writing and journaling, and simply being together in the sweet collective we’ve built over the last 6 months. 🦋 I even did a group Akashic Reading and some of the medicine that came through was to breathe in the expansiveness of who we already are, to honor our bodies and this precious life, and make art out of our confusion and challenge. I’m so grateful for the kindred souls that make the Hollyhock Collective. Their vulnerability and honesty is so beautiful, inspiring, and courageous.
