Today the struggle was real... I think I almost overdosed on caffeine (and it didn’t even help) there’s nothing worse then feeling exhausted after the weekend, usually I have a break from training and relax around the house, but this weekend was go! go! go! and I’m feeling it today ! Time for a bath, some foam rolling and bed 😴😴
Sleep is a foundational part of wellbeing. Your body needs deep, quality sleep to recover and restore your cells after the stresses of a long day. Sleep is especially important for your brain; it’s during sleep that you consolidate memories and repair your neurons.
If you have trouble relaxing at night, or you feel like you’re not rested, even after a full night’s sleep, these four simple steps to get better sleep can help. Start them tonight; you’ll be amazed by the difference they make.
1) Black out your room
Blacking out your room is the simplest and most effective way to improve your sleep.
Your brain gets confused when you expose it to light at night.
2) Limit blue light before bed
You want to block blue light while you sleep. You also want to limit blue light before you sleep, for the same reasons.
Your phone and computer are also major sources of blue light. If you’re going to use your computer at night, download f.lux; it’s a great free app that syncs with the sunset and replaces all the blue light in your monitor with amber light. It looks a little weird at first, but it’ll improve your sleep.
You can do the same with your phone. Most smartphones have a “night mode” option in their settings that filters out blue light.
3) No caffeine after 2PM
Coffee is great for you in moderation, but for the sake of your sleep, keep your caffeine consumption to the morning. Research shows that having coffee 6 hours before you go to bed still disrupts your sleep. Aim for at least 8 hours between caffeine intake and bedtime. A good rule of thumb is to stop drinking anything caffeinated after 2PM.
4) Take the right sleep supplements
Magnesium is an essential mineral and one of the best things you can take for sleep. Magnesium stimulates GABA, your brain’s main calming neurotransmitter. The increased GABA quiets excessive brain activity, which helps you relax and eases anxiety and stress at the cellular level.
Melatonin is another invaluable sleep supplement. You produce melatonin naturally at night, but if you have trouble falling asleep, supplementing with melatonin can make a big difference.
Melatonin decreases the time it takes to fall asleep.
#healthyhabits#holisticnutrition#hempseeds#semidicanapa#nutrizioneolistica#healthyeating#lifestyle#food#instafood#hempseedmilk

MARINE COLLAGEN. One of the few supplements I take on a daily basis. I’ve noticed such a difference in my hair and nails since I started taking this a year ago. I haven’t noticed much difference in my skin, but I know it’s working as a preventative measure for collagen loss in the future.
Collagen is the main structural protein in the body that supports our skin, hair, nails and bones. It allows us to move and bend and is what gives our skin its glow and hair and nails their shine and strength 💁🏼♀️
As we age collagen in our bodies starts to break down and our ability to produce it declines, which leads to wrinkles, weak and brittle hair and potential bone and joint issues. It can also impact our digestive and immune systems.
Collagen supplements can minimize or reverse these effects. I take marine collagen (derived from fish) 🐠because our bodies can absorb it more efficiently than any other type of collagen. I like @vitalproteins brand, but there are many out there so make sure to do your research on what’s best for you
+anti-aging (helps keep skin youthful and firm)
+helps grow strong and long hair and nails
+bone and joint health
+digestive and immune system health
Add to smoothies, coffee (makes it nice and creamy), or just drink by itself with water.
This morning pick me up warming drink is perfect for the cooler days ahead. It will kick start the digestive fire too.
Grate 1-2 cm of fresh ginger, place in a tea steeper (optional, you can place it directly in the cup) and steep for 5 minutes. By that time the liquid will have cooled down enough to add freshly squeezed lemon juice. I add MCT oil for more mental energy but coconut oil will do just fine.
It's a cruel bastard!
I've been doing really good with mine the last few months. To the point where I haven't needed naps during the day at all!
But this weekend, while super fun and I've enjoyed every last second, has ripped me a new one.
Struggled to stay awake this afternoon and now I have the telltale signs that the chronic fatigue is saying "oh hell no"
Sore throat (actually losing my voice)
And the dreaded fatigue.
So it's time for hot lemon and honey drinks and making sure I take my supplements.
Nobody wants to be sick and unhealthy. It makes everything in your life difficult. From, taking care of your kids to moving forward in your job, everything becomes a struggle when you don't have good health.
Health, therefore, should be a primary focus in your life.
Here are some areas to focus on:
1. Be grateful. If you have good health, be thankful for it. Enjoy your health. If you don't, then be grateful for whatever health you do have. This will fill you positive energy and help to put you in a positive mood.
2. Focus on being healthier today. You can't create a big health change in one go. Even if you could, it wouldn't be sustainable. You have to take one day at a time and focus on being just a little bit healthier today.
3. Share. Share with the people you love and care about. Share your knowledge of health, your victories and challenges. Great health is very hard to achieve without a team of people supporting you.
You deserve to the healthiest and happiest version of yourself.
You can find everything you need to improve your gut health at
Our power is supremely magnificent and without limit, but we only experience as much of it as we are willing to allow ourselves to.
Imagine a huge painting depicting a powerful concept, immense not only in its size but in its beauty and its magnificence too. Now imagine, if you were looking at that painting through a tube, with a single eye, so that you could only see it one small piece at a time.
You would have to use a wider tube to see more of the painting and to see the entire painting, you would need to put the tube to one side, step back and look at the painting with both of your eyes.
In the same way, when we are not willing to know our power in its entirety, we will only experience snippets of it at a time. When we look at it this way, we realise how much we are living our lives experiencing only a small fraction of our power at a time. What would happen, if we removed the restrictions in our knowing and experienced our power in its fullness?
Our restrictions come in many forms; sometimes in the form of people and their judgements of us, sometimes in the form of organisations or societies which we belong to that insist on keeping our visions narrow, sometimes in the form of our own fears, which keep us playing small.
Today, we invite you to take a moment to understand the restrictions you are permitting to limit the knowing of your own power. We were not born to play it small or to use only a fraction of the power that lies within us, we were born to play it big and unleash all the power within us so that we can live life to our fullest potential.
Wishing you a Monday that allows you to begin unleashing the fullness of your power…

Whipping up another batch of activated nuts! This time I did pecans and peanuts 😋 They were long soaking yesterday, and slow drying over night. I have been experimenting with creating homemade peanut butter using the activated nut as they are easier to digest. But I can't seem to get the smooth consistency that I want, and I'm too scared that if I keep my food processor on for too long she will die on me 😂 Maybe when I can afford a super duper one, will I be able to create my oh so desired activated nut butters 🤗
. . .
Have you got a great recommendation for a food processor?!
I've been getting ready for dinner party season 🥂 I will be hosting my very first dinner party in my house, which means it will be the first time using the dining room 🙌🏼 (4 months after moving in 😅)
. . .
I've just randomly placed things in baskets under the console table for now, so I will probably rejig those before my first official dinner party in 10 days. I also have a couple of pictures I'm hoping to get up on the wall before then.
. . .
There are so many things you don't think about though when it's just you eating. Have I got enough place mats?! Should I use plates or bowls?! What glasses should I use? Should I have a centrepiece?! Buffet style food or plated food?! And the all important question what should I cook to show off my culinary genius?! 🤣🤣 No pressure! I think I'll rope mum in to help 😇
💓 Happy Tuesday Darlings 💓
. . .
I have got so many things to do, and so many lists, that the gym is having to take a back seat once again. When I'm there I think about all the work I've got to do and when I'm working I'm thinking Ooo, it would be good to train today 😅 Do you have that conversation with yourself?! For the next few months I have got to give my work 100% but hopefully I can squeeze a few workouts in once I've got the majority of my to-do list under control!
. . .
I also feel like I've forgotten how to dress for colder weather 😂⛄ But you can't go wrong with some Christmassy socks 🐧❤
I did it!!! I’m officially an RHN!
I can’t believe I achieved something so wonderful. I was depressed, eating junk food with no education in the nutrition world this time 3 years ago. I want more than anything, to help others that felt the way I felt back then, feel the way I feel now! This is my passion, this is who I am. I will be taking on clients in the near future so stay tuned!
Thank you my dearest foodie friends for following along and supporting me throughout this incredible journey🎓
Pumpkin loaf & chocolate macaroons🍞🎃🍫
My mom made this for me and I was so happy when I came home and saw she baked something vegan! (My family isn’t vegan so when they make me food I feel so special)😇
I hope everyone has a lovely Friday & a lovely thanksgiving weekend with loved ones✨
Avocado toast on this chilly Thursday afternoon🍁
Just toasted some chia super grain bread, spread some smoky artichoke & herb cheese from @nutsforcheese on the bottom, sliced 1 avocado and topped it off with nutritional yeast & Himalayan pink salt✨ (cherry tomatoes too of course)🍅
I went to see my network care practitioner today after almost a month of not seeing her and holy moly my hips feels so much better! Stopped at @plantmattercafe for some pizza and a pumpkin latte☕️ and was not disappointed!
Now I’m off to the forest to be mindful of the season changing and all of the pretty leaves🍁 hope everyone is having a happy hump day!🐪
Fall is here!!🍁🍂
Hello October 🎃
Time to introduce more warming foods into my diet! I just made a quick stir fry with chickpeas, onions, cherry tomatoes and spinach cooked in coconut oil with Himalayan pink salt! So easy and took maybe 10 minutes to make✨
I hope everyone is having a lovely Tuesday and don’t forget to give yourself some love today, weather it be eating a good meal, having a hot bath, going for a walk, or simply just doing something you love☺️
🌸 Happy Monday Darlings 🌸

I got up early this morning ready to hit the gym for a leg sesh but then I got 2 delivery messages 😑 So while I wait for my deliveries to arrive (hopefully on time) I am getting some work done instead!
. . .
I'm staying in my gym gear with the hopes of going later 🤞🏻But I'm going to make it a productive Monday regardless!
Let’s take a moment to talk about something that gets brushed off as if it’s no big deal. ACNE😧 Acne is something most teenagers deal with while hitting puberty, but some of us are lucky enough to deal with adult acne!🙃This is a picture of my face 2 years ago. It started with a few break outs on my forehead and eventually blew up into full blown cystic acne. My acne journey was anything but easy but it sure did teach me many valuable life lessons. Something a lot of people that haven’t dealt with acne don’t understand is how hard it is to deal with it. It’s not as simple as washing your face, drinking lots of water and not wearing make up. Acne can be caused by all sorts of internal and external insults to the body. I’m not sure what exactly caused my acne but it started to appear about 4 months after I went vegan. I think it was a mixture between changing my diet, my body detoxing & eating foods that my body couldn’t handle😥Our bodies use our skin as a last resort when it comes to toxins, so if we aren’t properly eliminating toxins in the body, it’ll show up on our skin. My diet was awful for YEARS before I changed my lifestyle and once I started getting acne I noticed certain foods made my skin flare up/break out. I would wear HEAVY full coverage foundation to cover up all of my spots. I knew the make up was making my skin worse because it was clogging my pores & exposing my skin to a ton of chemicals but I was so embarrassed of my skin. My acne caused such bad anxiety to the point where it was hard for me to even go in public with a bare face. Acne taught me to accept myself as I am, flaws and all, to accept others, not to judge a book by its cover, to love myself as I am & to listen to my body regardless of what society thinks. I switched my foundation to an all natural mineral powder, changed a few things in my diet and even today I still get break outs but not nearly as bad. Just a friendly reminder that even those who have a good diet, take care of themselves and are clean can still have a face full of cystic acne. Be kind, don’t make someone feel dirty or ugly for having acne.✨❤️
Hello my foodie friends! Happy Thursday🌻
I moved some furniture around last night and made myself a little meditation/yoga space. I put my plants, fountain, salt lamp, crystals, horoscope calendar, books and yoga mat in this area of my room and boy am I feeling ZEN AF✨
I’ve never been one to do yoga, only here and there but I really want to learn & incorporate it into my daily routine. I do a lot of breath work with my chiropractor & her studio is very chill and has a similar vibe, so I thought why not create the same vibe and work with my body and my breath at home too? Yoga is great for relaxation, flexibility, learning how to listen to your body, stress relief, exercise, BREATHING properly, and just becoming aware of what’s going on with your body. I’m excited to see where this little journey will take me. So far I’m loving this little spot in my room and I encourage whoever is reading this to create a little space in their room/house to go to for relaxation🙏🏼
🌊 Happy Thursday 🌊

You guys know by now what this is the beginning of....A MEZZE FEAST💃😋💕

After the stresses of today, we thought what better way to put smiles on our faces than by going to our favourite little bistro for the BEST MEZZE EVER!!! 🙌🏼

I never get a chance to snap a picture of any of the other food because we are so quick to devour all the tasty dishes that are placed in front of us! 🤗

Transport me out of this office and into the ocean please 🏝 I hope you're Wednesday is going better than mine 😘
I was cleaning my room today and came across some of my old poems that I wrote about 3 years ago when I was in the midst of what seemed like the most chaotic time in my life. I found this poem and it made me smile. “Starting not to feel alone, starting to make myself at home. Times have changed and so have I. Starting to spread my wings and fly. My skin is thicker, I am no longer weak. For it was help I had started to seek. The clouds have vanished, the sun has appeared. My thoughts are no longer blurry, they’re becoming clear. Slowly getting my head in straight. Not sure if this was luck, or fate. In order to love your life you have to love yourself. Start taking care of your mental and physical health. If you are stuck in a dark place and can’t get out, reach for your loved ones, they’re there to help. I want you to know that you are loved, down on earth and up above”✨
Went to pick up Buddy’s paw print today.🐾 Today marks one week without him & picking up this little clay paw print was actually so much harder than I thought it was going to be. I shed so many tears on my walk home.. (good thing I was wearing sunglasses!)😬
just made myself this lunch to try and make myself feel a little better😅
Maple cinnamon waffle with maple syrup & cacao powder✨
Toast with coconut peanut butter, cinnamon & banana 🍌
I hope everyone is having a lovely Tuesday, hug your pets extra tight for me💓
Hello my foodie friends!
Happy hump day 🐪
Life has been a bit challenging for me lately, hence my lack of posts but here’s a nice pic of my raspberries, blackberries & grapes.
Life update: I quit my job of 5 years on Saturday, my cat that I’ve had for 13 years passed away yesterday and I’m currently trying to adapt to these huge shifts in my life. My cat peed on my bed before he passed so I couldn’t sleep in my bed the night he passed away and I’ve been sleeping on memory foam (which hurts my back). My other cat was his litter mate so I have to comfort my grieving kitty because this is their first time being separated.. EVER! I have giant bags under my eyes from lack of sleep, crying and overthinking everything that’s been happening but I feel at peace. I don’t feel anxious, I don’t feel scared, I feel ready to tackle this new chapter in my life. Here’s to new beginnings and turning the page of a very long chapter in my life. Wishing everyone a lovely rest of their week and sending good vibes across the globe to anyone and everyone reading this. Keep growing, keep morphing, keep evolving. There so much more to come✨🍇
Just reading my little positive affirmation book whilst eating oatmeal (with flaxseeds, berries, banana, chia seeds and cacao powder) 🍌🥣
Today I affirm:
✨I am at peace with all that has happened in the past✨
✨I am thankful that I get to live another day on this beautiful earth✨
It’s a cool, gloomy day here in London so I’ll just be spending my day relaxing before work. I hope all of you beautiful souls have a great Thursday and don’t forget to use positive affirmations today🌞 (say these affirmations to yourself everyday and eventually your negative self talk will slowly be replaced with positive self talk) 💖✨
I’ve been really hard on myself lately and been feeling down for the past few weeks. I often forget how far I’ve come in the last 3 years but I’ve been reminiscing and remembering where I was and how I got to where I am today and that usually helps to give me hope when I feel down. I used to be so depressed I would feel lonely no matter who I was with. I used to be on antidepressants and antipsychotics. I used to use junk food as a coping mechanism and binge eat to drown my sorrows. For a month straight I would stay in bed until 4:00 pm and only get out of bed only for food and to use the bathroom. I would drink away my pain, smoke away my pain, eat away my pain but nothing ever truly made the pain go away. I AM THE ONE that had to dig deep and get to the root of my issues instead of trying to cover them up, instead of using unhealthy coping mechanisms and telling myself that it didn’t matter what I did to my body because I hated myself anyways. I changed my diet, changed my lifestyle, overcame severe social anxiety and driving anxiety, I chose to get off of my medications, I changed my coping mechanisms from unhealthy to healthy ones, I ended bad relationships, I got professional help, I finished school and went into my exam with 80%, I DID ALL OF THIS. I cannot expect things to get better unless I make a change. It’s hard to remember that life doesn’t get better on its own & on days like these I’ve had to remind myself of this quite often. I’m not ashamed of where I’ve been and what I’ve done. I am damn proud of the things I’ve overcome and if you’re having a hard time or feeling like there’s no hope, just remember you have the power to turn your life around. Your mindset, your willpower, your ability to change certain aspects of your life that are no longer serving you, anything. If I have advice for anyone (including myself) it would be, don’t expect others to fix you, don’t expect anyone to get help for you because in the end everything starts and ends with you.
Oh what a beautiful morning!🌞

Which means 5 more days to crack on and tackle my never-ending To-Do list 😬 How do you keep yourself organised and on top of everything?! Are you a list lover like me??? 🗒
Here are my two favourite lamps!✨My Himalayan salt lamp and my Selenite lamp. Why are they my favourite you ask? Well.. Himalayan salt lamps are made from pure Himalayan salt crystals. Negative salt ions are released when the lamp is turned on which can increase blood flow, improve sleep quality, increase serotonin levels in the brain, and help to calm allergies and asthma.😮
Himalayan salt lamps purify air through the power of hygroscopy, which means that they attract water molecules from the air then absorb those molecules as well as any foreign particles they may be carrying, into the salt crystal. When the lamp heats up, the water molecules evaporate back into the air and the trapped dust, pollen & smoke particles will remain locked in the salt.🤗
Selenite lamps are not known for being hygroscopic or generating negative ions. Instead, selenite lamps are known for their healing and cleansing abilities, and they help to clear negative energy from our environment as well as clearing blocked energy from our chakras. Selenite also has calming properties which makes it ideal for meditation.🙏🏼
Selenite lamps help us to understand what has been occurring at the subconscious level and can also be used as a stabilizer for erratic emotions. Selenite lamps can be useful for people who are suffering from chronic illness such as chronic fatigue, skin disorders, back pain or other chronic pain. Selenite restores balance and can help you get to the root cause of a specific condition.👁
Selenite is constantly recharging itself, so you never have to worry about cleansing/charging it. Selenite can also cleanse & recharge, your crystals/gemstones! I highly recommend purchasing one or both of these because I absolutely love mine. I have my salt lamp turned on all the time and put a book in front of it at night to sleep. I have 4 Himalayan salt lamps in my house so hopefully they’re all doing their jobs.🤩
(Also, the smoke is from my Palo Santo which is said to welcome creativity, love and good fortune into your space as well as clear negative energy)
Good morning from my ombré smoothie and I☀️

I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday and starts using positive affirmations to make their day go a little better!! Wishing you all happiness and good health☺️✨
What time is it Mr. Wolf??🕑
Here we have some spelt pasta with “arrabbiata” pasta sauce🍝 cooked with red onions (nutritional yeast on top), broccoli🥦 cooked over medium heat with red and white onions topped with Himalayan pink salt and a little bit of nooch & my favourite... sauerkraut! 😍
The sun has been poking in and out of the clouds but it’s been mostly cloudy today⛅️ which makes me sad because I jumped out of bed today all excited because I saw the sun shining!!☀️ Oh well.. here’s to a day full of love and positive vibes, sending everyone good energy on the last Wednesday of August🌞✨🧡
✨“I LISTEN TO THE MESSAGES MY BODY SENDS ME AND ALWAYS ACT ON THEM”✨
✨“I AM HEALHY IN MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT”✨
Bought this little positive affirmation book with 500 self affirmations in it!😁 Since I was talking about positive affirmations yesterday I decided having a book like this would help me (and maybe you too!)📚 just flipping through the pages, sitting outside on a blanket with my pups & my smoothie (and my amethyst cluster and geode)✨🌱
My smoothie also isn’t a chocolate smoothie!! It’s pink but looks chocolatey in this photo... but I discovered I can buy fruit in the reduced section and just freeze them for smoothies instead of buying expensive bags of frozen fruit soooooo,
Here’s what’s in my smoothie:
2 frozen bananas🍌
1 frozen mango 🧡
1 frozen peach🍑
Blended with water💧
Did you go for a walk today?
Did you know.. walking improves cardiac health, can alleviate depression and fatigue by boosting serotonin production in the brain, creates less stress on joints and reduces pain, can help with weight management, improves circulation and supports stronger bones and improved balance? It’s also very important to take furry friends along with you to ensure they’re getting lots of exercise😁 my dog ends up getting bored throughout the day because everyone works so I make sure to take him for at least 2 walks a day! Walking became a drug for me when I was battling depression a few years ago and I stopped turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms and ended up walking about 2-3 times a day for hours!!! I felt amazing and still do because walking is so important to me. It’s also good to get out in the grass, play with your pups and ground with the earth. I always find myself so present and so happy when I’m playing in the park with my Leroy🐶🌱🌳💚
Messy green smoothie for this gloomy Monday morning☁️
1 frozen banana🍌
1 frozen peach🍑
1 frozen orange🍊
1 cup of frozen spinach🍃
2 tbs of nutritional shake powder✨
Blended with water💧
I hope everyone has a lovely Monday & sets goals for themselves. It’s always a good idea to have a goal set for the day, even if it’s something as small as making your bed! You’ll still feel as though you’ve accomplished something and it’ll make you feel good about yourself. I’ve also been trying to start off my days with a positive affirmation. Positive affirmations are so important, especially in a world full of negativity, it’s always beneficial to give yourself a boost. Today my affirmation is “I am strong, I am healthy and I am capable of doing anything I put my mind to.” If you say a positive affirmation to yourself everyday (even if you don’t believe it) you’ll eventually start to believe it because it’ll be stuck in your subconscious! Which is also why negative affirmations such as “I’m stupid, I’ll never be able to do this” aren’t beneficial because they literally become stuck in our subconscious and we start to believe them! So today, try starting your week off with a positive affirmation and set a small goal for yourself☺️✨
Broccoli cooked with onions
Navy beans with jalapeño
Avocado with nooch
Lightly cooked spinach
Himalayan salt on everything✨
(Enjoying the sun on my hammock today with my doggies🐶🌞)
I’ve been working on case studies all morning/afternoon trying to get everything done before my board exam on the 17th! Ahh so soon. Here’s my smoothie from this morning☺️
2 frozen bananas 🍌
1 cup of frozen mango🧡
1 tsp of coconut oil 🥥
1 tsp of sunflower seed butter🌻

Why did I purchase this?
Magnesium is an important macro-mineral that a lot of people are deficient in. Many individuals don’t get enough magnesium from the food they’re eating so unless you’re supplementing, you’re more than likely deficient!😧Magnesium is involved in several hundred enzymatic reactions, many of which contribute to production of energy and cardiovascular function.🏃🏻♂️♥️
Magnesium is essential for cell growth, nerves, muscles, heart and the arterial system. It is known as a natural muscle relaxant and is also very helpful when dealing with PMS.😱 I purchased this magnesium spray a few days ago because I was having extremely painful cramps and I realized my magnesium citrate supplement had expired.😥Magnesium has been shown to be helpful in alleviating many PMS symptoms such as cramps, irritability, fatigue, depression and water retention and is often at its lowest level during mesturation (many symptoms are alleviated when this mineral is replenished). The many enzyme systems that require magnesium help restore normal energy levels🏃🏻♀️ & because of this, magnesium can also be helpful for nervousness, anxiety & insomnia.💤 This MagTherapy spray is a transdermal spray which means it penetrates the skin and delivers magnesium directly to cells. This spray is also helpful for muscle tension, aches and pains and it softens your skin!🤩 It’s pre-diluted with distilled water so even those who have sensitive skin can use it without irritation occurring. Magnesium is absorbed easiest through the skin so after buying this and using it for 2 days I haven’t felt crampy at all!☺️Adults can use up to 40 sprays a day when needed and it’s also safe for children to use as well! (ages 1-3 use 12 sprays, 4-8 use 20 sprays) Would definitely recommend buying a high quality magnesium supplement, spray or oil🌞
What is it? What does it do?🤔
Jade stones have nourishing energies that are very healing and calming.😴 Jade rolling helps to improve blood circulation, skin tone and elasticity of the skin by promoting lymphatic drainage & eliminating toxins. The natural cooling effect of jade stones helps with puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles.😮 It can also help calm and even out your complexion. Our facial muscles store a lot of tension which can lead to fine lines, wrinkles especially around our forehead & eyes.👁 The jade roller will help to calm your skin, de-puff and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles while giving your skin a nice cooling massage😍
I put my jade roller in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes prior to use to help with puffiness🕒 (I’ll put it in the freezer if I don’t have much time) I roll my face in the morning and at night before bed after I’ve washed/moisturized my face! I noticed a difference in just ONE day.. my skin tone was evened out and less red/puffy. It wasn’t even me that noticed, it was my boyfriend that pointed it out (and that’s how you know it helped if a man noticed these things lol!)😂
I roll the same spot 3 times and roll out towards my hairline and down my neck. This jade roller was a gift but you can buy them in stores or online. Definitely worth purchasing✨💚
Spending some alone time with my crystals. I learned a bit about crystals 3 years ago and collecting them became a hobby & a way to occupy my time while healing myself. In this book I have, it explains everything about your crystals, the healing benefits, the history of the crystal, etc. Here is what the book says about the crystals in this photo:
- Tigers eye👁
may help to ease stomach and gallbladder problems, increase energy levels and strength, restore balance to the body
reduces cravings for the wrong kind of food and food binges or excess cigarettes, prescription drugs or alcohol; reduces anxiety caused by feelings of isolation, increases willpower & emotional stability.

What it is and why do it?
Dry brushing helps remove dull layers of skin, which improves overall complexion and acts as a natural exfoliant without using any scrubs, it stimulates and increases blood circulation, eliminates toxins from the body, improving functions of your internal organs, helps prevent painful ingrown hairs, reduces the appearance of cellulite, leaves skin feeling and looking younger (gives my skin such a nice glow when I dry brush regularly) soothes and massages sore muscles, gives your energy levels a boost, assists with the distribution of fat deposits, and helps with lymph flow. I bought my dry brush from Purdy Natural & it’s one for sensitive skin (because I didn’t want to jump right into using a regular dry brush and hurt my skin!) Overall my skin feels amazing after I dry brush and I just genuinely feel better after doing it. I start at my feet and work my way up my body. I use circular motions and go over the same spot 2-3 times. It’s best to dry bush before showering, but I know some people that dry brush after a shower too! I always moisturize my body with coconut oil afterwards. 10/10 would recommend investing in one my friends! Take care of your body and your skin and don’t forget to brush towards your heart☺️
I think I’m going to start incorporating more posts that aren’t food related!😮I also want to talk about life and health outside of food. Of course food is so important to me and I’ve overcome some nasty habits that I had formed in my early childhood (binge eating, never eating anything healthy, shovelling food into my face to the point where I actually threw up because my stomach couldn’t handle how fast/how much I was eating at a time)😥I’ve become stronger, more educated, healthier and happier since April of 2015 when I decided to completely change my lifestyle.💪🏼 I’m going to start posting about real life situations as well as tips/tricks/products that I use in my everyday life.😊For those of you that don’t know me, I never used to be into anything holistic... I’ve just recently switched to an all natural lifestyle 2 years ago. It doesn’t just stop at food either, I basically use all natural everything! All of my products I use from skincare, to make up to shampoo & soap are all natural! I was just sick and tired of seeing a thousand chemicals/words I can’t pronounce in my everyday products.😒 So stay tuned (I might take a while to get posting regularly until I finish my exam in August) I will be posting lots once I’m finished my studies and become an R.H.N! 🌞✨
Hello my lovely foodie friends🌱✨
I’ve been taking little breaks from social media to try and focus on studying! But I thought I’d check back in and share what I had for dinner tonight😇 I’ve been really slacking with groceries lately so I’ve just been throwing meals together with what I have at home!😜 I just cooked up some red onion, mushrooms, local green pepper, 1 clove of garlic and mixed beans in coconut oil over medium heat in my cast iron pan, topped with Himalayan pink salt!😍 so simple but so good. I was going to make a salad instead but ended up cooking up this stir fry.... does anyone else just throw random things together and make something yummy?😂 hope everyone has had an awesome week! And since it’s 1am where I am.. HAPPY FRIDAY✨🌞🍴
Good morning foodie friends!🌞
Sorry for the lack of posts over the last month. I’ve been taking breaks from social media for my own wellbeing! Just thought I’d give an update on what I’ve been up to☺️I turned 22 on the 4th and spent my day in a lavender field and ate at a vegan bistro with my family. It’s been a great summer so far. Time to crack down and finish up these last few case studies before my board exam in August! I hope everyone has been having a lovely summer🌻 Thought I’d share my go-to smoothie lately🍒🍌🍓
