So grateful for last weeks adventure with my man🧡. We drove through 20 miles of desert to camp next to a private hot spring. It was difficult to find at 7pm at night but so worth it😌. No service for a few days felt amazing! #nowifinoproblem
I LOVE essential oils ❤️
It’s a BIG statement, but hear me out 😉
They’ve been such a huge support to my family and I this past year- they were the missing puzzle piece in getting my daughter to sleep, and I credit them with keeping me sane. And not in a melodramatic or jokey kind of way. I’m talking, in a ‘I was getting no sleep, on top of struggling with PNA & PND and my mind was starting to fray’ kind of way. .
I honestly want to share these gifts from the earth with every single woman I know. These oils- you really need to experience them for yourself to understand their power. .
From Monday- Friday next week, there is a BOGO promotion (but one, get one), which is an awesome way to collect a pretty decent stash of pure, potent essential oils- whilst only paying for half of them!
DM me if you’re curious to find out more, and to learn how oils can support you and your family, and how to use them safely 😊
Seriously two of my FAVORITE holiday “perfume” blends right now!
And that white clutch though😍
Radiant: Cananga Flower, Patchouli, Clary Sage and Cypress that help to calm, soothe and reduce stress while Lime and Cassia help energize and add an invigorating spicy aroma to give you a sense of complete confidence. So yummy during the day!
Dream: Honor the calling of your heart with Cedarwood, Pink Pepper, Juniper Berry, Magnolia, Roman Chamomile, Lemon Myrtle, and Osmanthus, Dream with your heart wide open! This has been my go-to before bed!
Who else is ready for the holidays?!👇🏻
Enjoying some peaceful days with the family in beautiful Sanur in Bali 🍃💦😎⠀
Staying in traditional ‘joglo’ style houses crafted completely out of wood with a central pool between an outdoor living space and bedrooms which we’re all loving (although did find and transition a few spirits inside- to be expected in Bali)🌿🎋✨
Few minutes walk to Sanur beach and found the most awesome coworking @geniuscafebali space which serves healthy + nourishing food and drinks- which is fast becoming our favourite so far in Bali! 🙌🥑🍓🍌
It’s funny how you get stuck in your daily routines and I found it took a day to just adjust to a different pace and chill out to Bali life. A few days later- it’s been no problem at all!! 😀⠀
Well worth planning in these times away to throw your routine off for a bit, experience new cultures, food, people, sights and smells and just spend some good quality family time together and recharge ❤️🍍🌞🐓⠀

Is there a certain crystal you have been drawn to lately? Comment below if you would like to know it’s healing properties 💕
I have seen this coexisting with countless #adrenalfatigue clients. All of the health advice out there can trigger some pretty unhealthy patterns around food.
When you're given a meal plan and a massive list of foods to avoid to treat a health issue like adrenal fatigue - it's not a life sentence. It doesn't have to be extreme and consume your life and every waking hour.
Those who suffer with #orthorexia are consumed by stress, worry and fear around food.
They spend an enormous amount of time thinking about and planning what to eat. And then judging themselves for their food choices. Even the healthy ones!
Fruit phobia, grain fears, night shade nightmares, it can get pretty extreme.
Yes, I believe there's a time and place for removing foods that trigger symptoms when it comes to reversing a health issue.
But if you are one who has had anorexic or bulimic patterns in your life, being told you have to restrict can trigger old patterns.
There is a way to eat without all the stress, and in a way that is conducive to your recovery.
Food is part of living. But it's not your life. And the stress of obsessing is only going to worsen any health issues you may have.

You know, at the end of every day when I sit and think about everything, I find myself coming back to this qoute. I thought about my own situations. How I go through my own hell every day, fighting to keep my own head above water. Then when I rest for split second, I find myself drowning in this chaos life throws at me. I can't breathe. I look for someone to help pull me up because I am so tired. I am tired, lonely and incredibly frustrated. And then...just then, I realize that only I can pull myself up. I do it with a smile and I put on my positive pants and I keep fighting!! You never can assume what anyone is going through or how they are dealing with what life has handed them. A small act of kindness goes a long way and can push someone to keep fighting.I come across so many people in one day. So many people...so many types of people going through different phases and emotions. I definitely strive to do everything I do with love and to keep my heart wide open! It isn't easy to do always because people take advantage of you, misinterpret you or may not even notice. If you retain anything from this rant of mine, take this: YOU make a difference. YOU have a purpose. YOU are MORE than enough.YOU are NOT alone. YOU have the chance to better your own life and spread your light to people in need. ❤Love makes the world go round❤
“When, after heavy rain, the stormclouds dispense,
Is it not that they’ve wept themselves clear to the end?”
After rain comes sunshine, after sunshine comes rain. After a high a low, it’s really just cause and effect, karma. The results we get from our choices or experiences.
One thing I’ve learned these months away have been to process my emotions in a healthier way. I would go to extremes, dig a hole of self pity where I would wallow in my sorrow and cry and feel it, really feeeeel it, poor me. I’d exhaust myself and feel completely drained afterwards.
Then when I was introduced to Buddhist and Yoga philosophy I interpreted things like “you are not your feelings, you’re the observer” and “with practice you won’t experience such ups and downs” as - feelings are no good and not to be had. I started shutting down, and my spiritual ego loved it! I felt so superior and good about myself who could control myself so perfectly. I would go weeks skimming life on the surface until a triggering situation would make me blow up, and all those pent up emotions finally erupted out of me.
Where I’m now is somewhere in between. I have accepted that I don’t have to be a saint, I don’t even want to be one. I want to be me with all that is. Sadness, nostalgia, happiness, confusion, grief, joy, gratitude, anger, frustration, loneliness, stress, bliss. Every emotion is there to teach me about myself. How I respond to them - meaning if I allow them to be there, see them, feel them and breathe through them or become them for that matter, is what I can control. Not if they show up or not.

“It can be very scary to touch or look at what's been stored in your body, your heart, your spirit. The thing is, whatever is within you is just You. You do not need to be afraid of yourself. There is nothing bad or evil inside you. Your pain may feel heavy and frightening but your adult self can honor and witness that with love. Your body is your home and it can be the safest place on Earth. Whatever you have experienced, no matter how disassociated or out of your body you had to be to move through it, you felt some of the pain. Now the job is to feel the rest with maximum compassion, kindness and acceptance to complete the process and release the pain from whatever pockets it is hiding out in. Whenever you are ready.” - Erin Telford

I’d be telling a bold-faced lie if I said that I’d gotten all my workouts in, met my macros, and took all my daily vitamins each day this week, or even this month. If we’re going to be real transparent here (which every on the gram is raw and honest, right?) I haven’t done any of the above in probably two months. I’m off my game. Not as lean as I was and not as strict as I have been. . .
At first during times of inconsistencies I say hateful things to myself. I do this from time to time. I tell my body things like, “you’re awful/disgusting/unattractive/undeserving”. I tell my body everything that is wrong with it. How much I hate it and wish it looked and did life like “her”. Really superb self talk. It doesn’t last long, but it’s always there. In the back of my mind. Creeping. It’s waiting to pounce on the perfect insecurity or moment of weakness to grow into self loathing. Usually at this point, my joints hurt, my skin is having a serious hormonal flare up, and I’m bloated from retaining water. This is when my perspective is “all or nothing” and in comparison mode. Comparing myself to other beautiful women and my current self to my previous self in appearance, at work, and in my relationships. Not considering any circumstances or situations at hand, of course. .
You guys, our body hears us. It feels that stress. It feeds off of the negative energy you are receiving and then emitting into the universe. When you do good things for your body it will thank you. Don’t shame yourself for only making time to eat your veggies, read a few books, and get quality sleep (this is some self justification right here). Some things become more important than others during certain phases in life. That’s okay. Tonight I am saying “thank you” to my body for getting me through an upper body workout and some HIIT cardio. .
I hope you give yourself credit and love your body for what it’s doing. Tell it thank you. This thanksgiving season I am thankful for a body that I can love and it can love me back (despite a sometimes rocky relationship). #goodvibes#alternativemedicine#selftalk
Holiday Eating Strategies + Lifestyle Tips courtesy of @nutritionbyheidi
🍁Don’t go to a holiday party/event hungry. Eat a small meal an hour before so you feel satiated before temptation. .
🍁At an event, eat 3 healthy food items before you consume anything else. Green salad, veggie dishes (with no cream), roasted squash, & broth-based soup are good choices. .
🍁Focus on your food. Be mindful of the texture, taste, smell, and source of the food you are eating. Mindless munching can lead to overconsumption of calories. .
🍁Bring your own healthy dish. You will know the ingredients you put in the food and will have something nutritious to stave off hunger.
. 🍁3 feet rule. Stand and converse at least 3 feet away from the buffet table. You are less likely to keep eating from bowls of chips, etc. .
🍁Exercise. Engage yourself in a yoga class, go running, lift weights, meditate or cycle indoor/outdoors. Find something you enjoy doing and get moving! Not only will you burn extra calories, you’ll think more clearly and increase your energy levels.
. 🍁Pair up with a friend or family member. Whether healthy food or exercise, keep each other on track! With so many ways of sharing information, you could also create a Facebook group and engage others, who have similar goals. .
🍁Food journaling. Writing down your food intake keeps you mindful of caloric intake.
