✈️Parlor Travel tips with kiddies👶🏼👧🏼: planning is 🗝
1. Pack light 🎈- decide what you can carry, plus the kids, plus their bags. Because let be honest, you’ll be schlepping it all.
2. Pack lots of snacks for the plane🥨- aim for healthy special travel snacks plus a meal. Little pretzels, grapes, baby puffs, Cheerios, baby squeeze packets, sandwiches, water bottles.... to name a few🍇
3. Backpack 🎒: wet wipes, diapers, change of clothes, 1 game (cards or coloring book), 2 paperback books, headphones, little pillow.... find the balance of “packing light” and being prepared with activities ;). Remember games can be “I spy” and tic tak toe!
4. Give yourself TIME ⏰Plan on 2hours at the airport. Please, don’t be crazy-pants rushing through the airport ala Home Alone. No one wants that.
5. Book a flight that doesn’t mess with their sleep schedule 😴- if possible! Direct flights, midday work best for us.
Take care of yourself❤️For us that meant cold medicine and Alka Seltzer, Taking turns holding the baby, walking the plane, snoozing (if possible) and bathrooming... plus it helps to have a good nights sleep before and after the flight are key too! You’re a team, so be kind to everyone traveling together- you got this!
We made it to Queens for Grandma Doris funeral. Yesterday we all had various ailments 🤒🤧😪but today I think we’re on the ups.
Thank goodness for our air bnb! #familytravels best friend! Laundry, kitchen, three bedrooms.... makes for such a great transition to NY so far... especially since we already have a full load of laundry within 12hours upon arrival 🧺
What do you pack in your carry on to make travel easier??

This distinguished 18th-century manor house hotel has a lovely Christmas and New Year’s program, making it a very festive and lovely Victorian holiday reminiscent of Downton Abbey.

Preparing for a much needed trip!! Almost time to head home for the holidays!! I will be in NC, GA, and FL and will be trading ❄️ ⛄️ for 🏝 🌞 which is just what my heart and soul needs right now. And the plan is to maintain weight on this trip!! I’m leaving at 222 if I come back under 230 I’ll be happy with that! #keto#ketolifestyle#vacation#holidaytravel#packing
Now that it’s finally cold enough in Florida I’m working on replicating this epic hot chocolate I had with some vegan marshmallows and creamy hemp milk. My version is not nearly as pretty as the one here from Bryant Park, but it tastes just as good! A cup of hot cocoa is one of those simple holiday traditions that brings me so much joy 😊. Amongst all the running around and stress that comes with the holidays, remember the little things that make you smile this season.
A trip to Dreams Los Cabo would be nothing but dreamy! This gorgeous resort is located along the Sea of Cortez and is surrounded by gorgeous golf courses, lots of adventure, and of course, the breathtaking water. Dreams Los Cabos offers fun for the entire family, not just mom and dad. The kids will enjoy the Explorer's Club for Kids while the adults take a trip to the spa for a little R&R. Tell Santa to add this destination to your gift list!
We’ll be visiting family in the Chicago area for the holidays before we head to CA. Looking for things to do with the kids in the Windy City. The Tree Lights at Morton Arboretum looks like a stunning event and worth a visit. If only I could tolerate the cold!!
You know you’re minimalist when..
your kid’s closet is practically empty after you pack her suitcase!
Travel tip: start setting aside what you want to pack ahead of time, as you start thinking about it, even if it’s not in your actual suitcase. Then cull through it all as you actually pack. I used to stress about packing, but when I do it this way, it takes the pressure off, without leading to overpacking.
