Alright y’all. I’m no good at teasers because usually I’m flying by the seat of my pants (no pun intended- for those of you that don’t know me- I’m a flight attendant) SOOOOO for the next ummm 40ish hours we’re (I’m) running a pretty big sale.
Bigger than I’ve ever run, I think. I honestly don’t really run sales!
50% off EVERYTHING.
Inventory is updated and we gotta make way for new stuff. I haven’t decided what will come back for next year for Nantucket- if anything. SO now is the time to buy!! What’s left is what’s left at the moment and I can tell you we’re seriously low (like one or 2 left) on some of the smaller sizes.
Andddd I still don’t charge for shipping. Because that’s the kinda gal I am. Let’s gooooooooo!!
Use code HOLIDAY2018 during checkout and shopping link is in the profile. Everything will be shipped by Thursday and arrive before Christmas 🎄
THIS INCLUDES ORLANDO STUFF TOO! I JUST WANNA MAKE WAY FOR DUCKLINGS (Boston, Get it?) and all of the Orlando and Nantucket designs I have ready but haven’t started printing. Okay... I’m done here. GO SHOP! 🎉 .
A lot of clients ask me about “mixing.” What do you think about mixing stone colors? Can we mix metal finishes? What about gold colors? Setting styles?
. Anything is usually possible. How good these things will look together is in part, a matter of personal taste. For me, I like to find balance in mixing. If pairing two different style bands together, I may try to keep their metal color the same. Or if their style is already the same, then maybe I play with them by changing the finishes or the colors between the two. The key is to weave enough similarities between features that there is a visual acceptance when paired.
. Here, you see a engagement ring (with wedding band in second shot). For the engagement ring, we were able to use a mix of stone cuts by keeping all shapes round. We also introduced a variety of colors, but kept them complimentary by using an ombré palette. We even mixed the setting styles, using a claw prong setting to help accentuate the rose cut sapphire center stone. This variability works, because the rest of the elements blend.
. For her wedding band, she wanted something simple and clean, but with a pop of color. After sorting through a number of options, she selected the beautiful pink sapphire you see in the second shot. While different, it works bc it has some blue undertones to compliment the hues of the engagement ring. We also echoed the dimensions of the eng ring band, its rose gold color and polished finish to seamlessly pair these two pieces.
. So the answer to, “can we mix?” is a resounding YES! It’s all about how you execute. 💗✨
“Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?” —Clarence to George Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” one of my all-time favorite movies (and this, one of my most beloved ornaments). ✨
