After a week of sick, back out on the muddy trails again 🤗
Thank the good Lord, because I get a little cray when I can't run or hike!
Just a simple loop on the Blackwater, these stones were in the parking lot, prepping to fix the parts of the trail that were washed out by the recent flood.
Hope y'all are happy and well and adventuring 〰〰〰〰🏃🏽♀️
In which: searching for answers, listening to the doctors, slight answers found. (S/o to everyone that’s been by my side through this struggle over the past several months)
I’ve posted this a lot more on my fitness insta (I post all things food/fitness/exercise science) but decided to share here as well. I’ve been going through figuring out my GI issues- between food allergies/sensitivities, lots of bloating, pain & discomfort-I’ve officially been diagnosed with IBS. I’ll soon be moving onto the next phase of dealing with things: the FODMAP diet. .
I’m choosing to share it here in hopes I can help others as I go through this as a mid 20s, grad student, fitness professional (it changes more than ya think when it comes to this since i eat so clean!)—Plus sharing new recipes I find. So pop on over to @samanthaaadearfit To follow along on this journey (& learn some cool fitness things). .
Just wanted to share that y’all are never alone in life- no matter what kind of struggle you have. .

Nature will teach you what balance means by throwing it in your journey. If you don't want your feet to get wet, there's likely a tree waiting to help. It's simply one foot after the other, one thing at a time. Use your whole body to stay up, not just your feet. Always look forward and never behind.
