A new look at an old photo. Mostly I've just been playing around in Lightroom trying to learn to edit better, but I came across this one and decided I liked it as it was. Nothing spectacular, but it captures all that Central Oregon beauty!
The transient trail life continues. Wonderful people fill my walking life for days at a time with an intensity that can’t be replicated in home life. We walk, walk, walk, talk, eat and sleep.
I’ve been laughing so much the last few days that I’ve been snorting. Usually a solid sign that you’re with good people.
But today I stayed back from the gang so I could spend a day staring at Crater Lake. These new lovely friends move forward on their own hikes and another phase of mine begins. x
OMG Crater Lake.
It’s an ENORMOUS collapsed volcano, with another small volcano (the wonderfully named Wizard Island) in the middle. I’m suitably impressed. So much so that I took a day off to stare at it. 🌋
I have officially started my road trip along the west coast!! First stop was Silver Falls State Park. It has an 8 mile hike with ten ✋🏼🤚🏼 beautiful water falls, more pictures to come 😋 this was the perfect first stop on our little adventure, camping has always been a relaxer for me ⛺️ I am my mother’s child. 👩👧Now we are driving into to Portland, OR. Thinking first stop here is a bar? 🤔 🍻
