My husband, Aaron just spoke on our team call this evening & he slayed it🙌🏻. I really wanted him to talk to my team about the ups & downs of having a wife who’s an entrepreneur. Sad to say it but a lot of husbands are not supportive of this coaching thing. And if I’d had listened & made myself smaller to keep him comfortable we wouldn’t be living in this house, own this pool, go on the vacations we do, & I’d probably still have student loans...🙈😥. Luckily, I’m strong-willed & I saw the big picture (I also budget my time better these days☺️). Here’s the thing about marriage — if you make sacrifices & provide support from your spouse you better demand the same for your own dream. Life gets really good when you’re BOTH living your dreams...we are proof of that! #hardworkandlove 🖤

💥 if you’re just going to the gym doing the same or similar thing every day/week, you are engaging the exact same muscles and your heart rate is so used to it that it’s not challenging your body or metabolism.

When the scale doesn’t move for a while or when it moves in the wrong direction, I dig in the vault to remind myself of how far I’ve come, how hard I’ve worked. And to be clear, I’m happy that I am stronger and healthier now, but I’m still the SAME person full of life, love, laughter (and anxiety) as I was on the left, just with way more energy and different habits.

I’m not a huge fan of cardio but it’s a necessary evil to get and stay in shape. It’s especially hard when it’s cold out. I’ve been doing most of mine indoors. 40 minutes 3 times a week. I’ve only lost about 6 pounds in 7 weeks but I can tell a difference in my body fat levels and that’s all that matters.

It’s #frontsquatsunday! I have recently found myself loving the exercises that I despised 3/4 years ago. I used to think I couldn’t do front squats because it “hurt too much” or I wasn’t flexible enough, or any other excuse.... I started working with a fantastic trainer, working on my form and technique, teaching me to stretch, work on my core, and now just 4 months later, I’m able to do certain things that were really difficult for me before -with ease today. I know, 225 isn’t incredible, but I really wish I had a vid of me trying this 3 years ago, let’s just say it would not have been pretty.... This is just the beginning! I’m telling ya there are few things more satisfying in life than making a goal for yourself and then achieving it! Not saying that has to be in fitness, but taking #extremeownership of your goals in all facets of life will allow you to become the best you you can be 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 My goal will be to post a vid of my front squatting 315 by February 😎... to give you an idea of where I was at, I couldn’t even touch 225 a few months ago because my form was so bad.... #whatsyourexcuse?

I absolutely hate training core bc of the pain I feel the next couple of days. No coughing, no laughing, even sitting can be painful lol. Anyways, lots of plank variations in this circuit! This is a must save, I was seriously sore for a couple days after these 😅 Perform this as a circuit, meaning finish one of the exercises & continue with minimal rest in between until you do them all! Repeat 4 times 💪🏼

There are many benefits from incorporating HIIT training, such as burning more calories and fat in a shorter period of time, and building your endurance. •
I can most definitely feel the improvement in my endurance. I no longer get easily winded  during these cardio workouts or when chasing around after my toddlers. •

• Wide and Narrow Jump Squats: Cardio killer! Always make sure and use a pretty low speed for these. Bring your feet into a wide stance on one step. Squatting down as low as possible jump up to the next step and bring your feet together into a narrow stance. Squat as you land to absorb the impact. Jump up to the next step into a wide stance. Then narrow, then wide, etc. I like to hold the railings when I do these just in case I miss a step or slip. It's always better to be safe than sorry.”-organicauthority.com
