My husband, Aaron just spoke on our team call this evening & he slayed it🙌🏻. I really wanted him to talk to my team about the ups & downs of having a wife who’s an entrepreneur. Sad to say it but a lot of husbands are not supportive of this coaching thing. And if I’d had listened & made myself smaller to keep him comfortable we wouldn’t be living in this house, own this pool, go on the vacations we do, & I’d probably still have student loans...🙈😥. Luckily, I’m strong-willed & I saw the big picture (I also budget my time better these days☺️). Here’s the thing about marriage — if you make sacrifices & provide support from your spouse you better demand the same for your own dream. ok you definitely saw some of these before, but switching up your routine makes a MASSIVE impact on your results.
💥 if you’re just going to the gym doing the same or similar thing every day/week, you are engaging the exact same muscles and your heart rate is so used to it that it’s not challenging your body or metabolism.
✨ if you want a toned core & you’re only doing workouts for your rectus abs and not for your obliques or transverse abs, then you can’t expect your whole core to be toned.
✨ if you want to tighten your booty and all you’re doing is squats (aka negelecting to focus on inner & outer glutes, adductors, low back, etc) you cant expect a super toned booty.

When the scale doesn’t move for a while or when it moves in the wrong direction, I dig in the vault to remind myself of how far I’ve come, how hard I’ve worked. I think back to the time I started this coaching thing & the ppl who said it wouldn’t work. .
Can we have a moment for those who say you can’t have it all and tell them to SIT DOWN. That might be true for them, because our thoughts becoming our reality, but it’s not true for me. Or for YOU. .
I believe in having it all. Day dates, workouts on my schedule, power calls on a Saturday & play dates on a Tuesday. Traveling on a dime just because & living a life of abundance. Doing something that makes me feel ALIVE. .

I’m not a huge fan of cardio but it’s a necessary evil to get and stay in shape. It’s especially hard when it’s cold out. I’ve been doing most of mine indoors. 40 minutes 3 times a week. I’ve only lost about 6 pounds in 7 weeks but I can tell a difference in my body fat levels and that’s all that matters.

It’s #frontsquatsunday ! I have recently found myself loving the exercises that I despised 3/4 years ago. I used to think I couldn’t do front squats because it “hurt too much” or I wasn’t flexible enough, or any other excuse.... I started working with a fantastic trainer, working on my form and technique, teaching me to stretch, work on my core, and now just 4 months later, I’m able to do certain things that were really difficult for me before -with ease today. I know, 225 isn’t incredible, but I really wish I had a vid of me trying this 3 years ago, let’s just say it would not have been pretty.... This is just the beginning! I’m telling ya there are few things more satisfying in life than making a goal for yourself and then achieving it! Not saying that has to be in fitness, but taking #extremeownership of your goals in all facets of life will allow you to become the best you you can be 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 My goal will be to post a vid of my front squatting 315 by February 😎... to give you an idea of where I was at, I couldn’t even touch 225 a few months ago because my form was so bad.... #whatsyourexcuse ?
