Thank you once again to all the amazing donors for sponsoring me for the Kidney Walk on Sunday September 23rd, 2018! With your support we raised $2,380.00 for the foundation. I was proudly joined by my mom Musarrat, my sister Salma, my 3 nephews, Ayaan, Qasim, Luka & by my family friends Shai & Jelena.
Here are a few highlights from our walk through Erindale Park & High Park on a beautiful crisp September day.

High Park😍🌳🍁 This is my favorite park in Toronto, I loved this place! First of all, it's huge, and you can spend maybe more than an hour going around. Then, it's always full of people, and they have several activities; actually, personally I liked just staying on the grass, in front of the big Maple Leaf😍
In the park you can also walk in a small zoo, as you can see in the pictures.
The last one it's from one night when I've been to a play in the amphitheatre of the park. Some young actors played Romeo and Juliet, during the whole summer, and it was a very nice experience. A different thing for an evening out, or for an original date✌

✨ Stayed up way too late writing octopus poems last night, and I’m shocked that it was the first time that my tentacled friend was a source of writing inspiration!! 🐙
Ps - Happy Full Moon 🌚
Ink gets us dirty
staining our souls with innocence
Another tentacle plays with my tenacity
and I lose focus
When suction holds me still,
it wraps around my desires like ribbons
Writhing through the sand
Sensate and ornate
Magnifies with every spoken word
like a can of worms
baiting me into entanglement
The ocean that baptized them
those beautiful creatures
betrayed their story with timelines
Suppressing their natural tone
Like an octopus without its wings
and like a song you hear
but cannot sing
love of reading begins as early as in the womb! Many parents decide to read to their babies during pregnancy, when the sense of hearing has begun to develop, which occurs around the third month of gestation.
