It’s Ellie’s birthday. I took her on a little adventure. we saw @jessicabingham and baby Bingham, we ran into @hannasa, we saw murals, a playground, a few bunnies and the back side of buildings (I love alleys). We saw a mural and sculptures, restaurant workers, birds and cars. A good time was had by all. #peoriaheights#hellopeoria#dogsofinstagram#dogmom#birthdaypup
We've had a full house the last couple of days. It's great to see so many familiar faces, those who have followed our journey since the very beginning and come support our business!
It's incredible to have so many new people every day, those who give us a try for the first time and fall inmediately in love!
But it's surreal to see them all finishing their plates and leaving with a happy face!
The feeling of touching each one in Peoria thorough our healthy food is amazing! #thankful#fullhouse#busyday#growing#sucess#peoria#peoriail#midwest#illinois#hellopeoria#eatandevolve#tastymadehealthy

Ingrowns and pimples can be a thing of the past with a few simple tricks. The first and most important is CLEANSE! This means before and after your appointment. E sure to exfoliate in the shower before you come in and continue to exfoliate (gently) once you leave. After your wax, when you go home, use a clean washcloth or wet one or even a shower to properly cleans your skin of the natural bacteria that you naturally have on the surface of your skin. This will help prevent any Whitehead’s from popping up and keep you super soft! 👙
Wear loose clothing for 25 hours
For bikini/Brazilians we will often recommend that you don’t wear undies at night for a day or so - just to let everything breathe.
Sea you soon, summer. 🌊✌🏼 You were pretty amazing!

Food Inspired by Art Round II
About a month ago I made food inspired by the art of @allisonwalshartist for the @collecture party at @soulsidehealingarts . After that event I got to talking with @jessicabingham about doing it again for the @project1612 3rd anniversary party. This really pushed me creatively and I’m thrilled with how the dish turned out.
The first layer of this dish was inspired by Talisman #82 from @ratbabyjones ,the pale yellow coconut curry, light green dusting of dried cilantro, white cauliflower & pink accents / white cubes of radish all represent elements from her work of art.
On top of that was the derivative of Empty Church by @joeyknoxart which was a vertical splatter of a garlic carrot sauce with a brown kofta ball in place of the house. Formulating, assembling & sharing this dish was an absolute blast.
Huge love to Jessica, Zach, Alex ( @xander9210 ) & the whole 1612 crew for letting me do my thing ♥️ To everyone at the party that tried the dish THANK YOU 🙏🏻 It means the world to me when people try my food. I know it’s out of normal comfort zones. Raw vegan food can be off putting, I’m working hard to break down that notion. I’ll admit, I get discouraged at times doing this in Peoria, IL where people don’t seem into this style of food, but that won’t stop me. I’m here to change things. Of course it won’t be easy but I’m up for the challenge.
I have 3 more events lined up this summer, 2 public / 1 private. I’m unsure of when the next round of Food Inspired by Art will be, but rest assured if you’ve missed the first 2, there will be a 3rd, sometime, somewhere.
Thank you all for the support as I explore my passion and follow my path to uncharted territory. I’m dreaming big & working diligently at this grand goal of mine which your support fuels. The driving force behind everything that I’m doing is LOVE and that will never change : )
This afternoon, I went 60ft in the air on a JLG lift. That was it’s max extension 😱Beautiful view but oh boy, I was not super comfortable up there 😅. That being said, I’d do it again. Thanks for the ride @dr.weir. BIG shout out to JJ Braker Masonry who did a fabulous job on our building. I highly recommend them! #hellopeoria#jlglift#tinyplanet#peoria#peoriaillinois#qoocam
If we zoom out and consider God’s heart for the nations, we realize this is not a story of “us versus them”, or “the good guys versus the bad guys” . In Isaiah 49:6, God tells Israel, “I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” In other words, God intends restoration for Israel, but He also intends restoration for their oppressors as well.
This truth is radical, because it means God’s vision of restoration is much bigger than us and our individual injustices. While God promises vindication for the hurting, He desires restoration for all.
That is both the promise and character of God! We can trust His justice and live in the hope of it, but His character also calls us into a vision of restoration much greater than ourselves. God’s plan of restoration—the Good News of Jesus Christ—is so radical that it even lays claim to our enemies. Without a doubt, God intents to restore us, but He also intends to restore the world. — @shereadstruth Study in Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah and Micah
