I look like a #WestHighland#Terrier but I currently have the “What the #Hela is happening “ look of this #Maremma Sheep dog. 😂 #Laugh to keep from crying photo courtesy of a book called “Legacy of the Dog”.
#hel or #hela from the #nordicmythology . She is the #godess to the death.
"LOKI IDIOLIZED HIS BROTHER BECAUSE HE NEVER GAVE UP ON HIM"
In the first Thor you can see how Loki changed colour to match Odin's as a baby but I believe he took memories Odin had of his first born ,Hela, which made him not only similar in looks but also in his personality to the goddess of death.
This shows why Loki thinks destroying Joutenheim would have made Odin proud as it did when Hela conquered planets.
Also I believe Loki was genuinely trying to stop Odin banishing his brother but the instincts he copied from Hela made him take advantage of the situation. However Thors willingness to risk his own life made Loki see he could be more, which is literally reiterated in Ragnarok.
It's clear that Thanos rescued Loki from the blackhole he fell into at the end of the first film. However I believe Loki died and Thanos ressurected him to use to kill Thor. Thanos may have discovered that Thor would become his greatest challenge to achieving his goal of killing half the universe. I believe Thanos had the intent to kill Thor and was going to use Loki to this end however I believe Loki being the clever god of mischief offered to invade Earth instead and use Thor's affection for the planet to keep him in line so he wouldn't have to be killed.
You can see Loki almost come to his senses in the first Avengers when Thor pleads to him to stop but becomes emotional when he looks at his brother as he knows this is the only way to save him. Also in Thor Ragnarok (2017) during the climatic final battle you can see that Loki is quitely pleased that Thor has reached his potential when facing Hela.
In Avengers Infinity War Thanos has Loki and Thor beaten and surrounded, yet he doesn't threaten Loki with his own life for the Space stone as he knows it will do no good. Instead he threatens Thor's life, which is Loki's breaking point and he relinquishes the stone to save him. If Loki didn't care for his brother he would have used the stone to save himself. Instead in a last desperate act Loki tries to kill Thanos as the mad titan will still try to kill the god of Thunder which ultimately cost him his life.
Loki was ready to kill for Odin/ Thanos but willing die for Thor.
