Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 4. Overall Rating: 5.5/10⠀ ⠀
🚨 Contains Spoilers 🚨⠀
This week was an overall fun episode, with the main magical creature being a vampire that takes the life force from children. The A plot focuses on Sara, Ava, Ray, and Constantine going to a summer camp to track down the monster, while the B plot focuses on Rory and Zari learning to trust Charlie, who by the end of the episode realizes that she's better off working with the Legends instead of sitting in a cell again. The A plot was fun, with Ray learning more about Constantine, as well as the audience getting a look into why he feels so responsible. Ava finally having a "childhood" was alright, not too funny or interesting. The overall episode was decently enjoyable, but definitely felt like the lowest of the season so far. It looks like we'll be getting reintroduced to Nora Darhk next episode, which should be fun. ⠀

Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 4 was pretty good. It was cool to see more character development to Constantine and the actresses who played the younger Sara and Ava were really good and really fun to watch. Nate was a big miss this week and the I didn’t find the camp setting too appealing tbh. I appreciated the Swamp Things reference though!

Quick story about me.
I've lived on the South East side of san Antonio my entire life. I was bullied by my peers relentlessly from the time i was in kinder all the way thru 11th grade. It's no secret that i can be an extremely angry person at times. My dad wasn't there, my sister's and i were never close. My extended family never treated me like family. No matter how many i called out to god he never answered. I had very few friends who would disappear just as we started to become close. I had horrible reputations that were false from middle school till now even. I've been assaulted, sexually harassed, jumped and isolated. It goes without saying that i have been rejected by every single girl I've caught feelings for and have trouble dealing with it every single time.
There are times i wanted to call it quits and "clock myself out." There were times i wanted to go after certain people the really hurt me in life and do 10 times worse on them.
But what stopped me from leaving so early when i was young and already thinking these thoughts was that i really wanted to know what was going to happen in the next issue in the Batman hush series. If you can believe it, its true. I couldn't take myself out or risk going to prison. Because I just had to know how TF is superman gonna stop General zod and the 10,000 kryptonians from breaking the earth in the sun of new krypton storyline. If the justice league would stop darksied in the final crises series.
And because of them, those fictional #DC characters behind me in the photo, I'm still here, with no record, no past drug addictions, and zero time behind bars. Is my life great? Fuck no. But I'm not like some of these toxic individuals who have sadistic intentions with everyone around them. And to me thats a win right there.
So thank you #batman#superman#wonderwoman#greenarrow#nightwing#robin#flash#catwoman#starfire#greenlantern#blackcanary#michaeldurmigious
And thank you #redhood#deathstroke#lucifermorningstar#joker#bane#generalzod#ares#reverseflash#lexluthor#doomsday#darksied#killercroc#captaincold#heatwave#blackadam#mettallo i couldn't have made it this far without you.
Reminiscing on this amazing trip to Bali in March, and on this freezing cold day in Toronto, really missing the 40+ degree weather! T-minus one week til I’m reunited with the sun in Mexico ☀️ #ShanghaiBaliTrip2018#TanahLot#TanahLotTemple
The Gulf of Maine is one of the fastest-warming ocean ecosystems on the planet. Over the last 30 years, the Gulf of Maine warmed at a rate of 0.06°C per year (0.11°F per year) — more than three times the global average. Over the last 15 years, this region has warmed at more than seven times the global average rate. At both time scales, the Gulf of Maine warmed faster than 99% of the global ocean.
Why is this? The Gulf of Maine sits in a special corner of the ocean where cold waters from Canada (and ultimately, the Arctic) meet with warm waters from the south. A slight change in these currents can mean a big difference in temperatures, and this region is experiencing more than a slight change. Global warming is causing the glaciers in Greenland to melt. As this relatively fresh water dumps into the North Atlantic, it disrupts the entire circulation of the North Atlantic, pushing more warm water into the Gulf of Maine. It also pushes more warm water into the Barents Sea, north of Norway, another warming region.
Check out the link in our bio for a short video from our Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Andy Pershing, explaining more about why the Gulf of Maine is warming so quickly.
Heat wave today! 🌡☀️ We are going to hit 40°+ I’m definitely doing a happy dance over here! 🎉 For the last 2 weeks it’s felt like winter with snow + freezing temps, 🥶❄️ so I’m pumped to have Fall back, if even for a few days! I feel like we almost missed it! What’s the weather like where you live?
This fall I traded all my candles for essential oils + my body is definitely thanking me! Even though I don’t like to drink PSL’s, I still love the smell! Thieves, cinnamon, clove, orange, nutmeg + ginger are some of my faves! Oils help support my immune system, sleep habits + even my mood! And there are sooo many great combos that will make Fall last all year long! What’s your favorite fall blend?
I don’t know if you know this but, most candles 🕯 are made of paraffin wax which creates highly toxic benzene + toluene when burned. Those are some of the same toxins found in diesel fuel fumes. What?! 😳 Burning a candle for only an hour can also cause the same harmful effects of smoking a single cigarette 🚬 🤢Yuck. No thanks. Bye candles, HELLO essential oils!!!
The Granite Avenue silently went live yesterday. Granite is is our monochrome tortoise, which is a frame with subtle details, finished off with a high luster. You can get these stock and in the customizer now. #highlyvisual#heatwave#heatwavevisual
Whoa! I walked outside with short sleeves and my arms didn’t immediately feel like they were immediately frozen!
Grab a bike, go for a hike, walk your dog and enjoy the sunshine and relative warmth.
We don’t get many days in November with sun so enjoy it while you can. ☀️ •
I havn been knowing what to do with hair since after the wedding. Was starting to get a little frustrated by it even. Thought I might bleach it like I did last Christmas, but so many people are going blond. I never want to look like iv been smacked with the same stick as others. Its in my blood to want to stand out, and be extra creative. I decided to chop it all off and start growing it. But I sat in the chair and thought of, bleaching it, doing a curl thing, got offered a perm. Until I decided to shave the sides, do some lines and go home to figure out what a 3 way twist out was. Always imagined it werent complex. Then I googled cause @lau_seretse took too long to respond. And the technique, for this tiny hair, I wasnt even tryna. So I braided it, spritzed it with water and crossed my fingers that overnight somthing better happen. Even in the morning I couldn't have been sure, but I guess I was confident cause I undid it in the car on my way to my first Ap for the day. It looks pretty aite yea, even though my mom in law thought I didnt comb my hair!! She couldnt believe it took me hours to do. Lmao! Feeling fresh, can even stand the heatvwave a little. Competing with it!
