Start YOUR process - you’re drinking water anyway but it’s not all created equal. #doctors#sayso .
You’re not sick you’re THIRSTY. I never drank water - boring ! Then I started in Kangen , because it tasted way better than my water at home did, little did I know that it would HELP TREAT so many different problems I was having inside my busy. .
My family doctor prescribes pills. .
My Japanese doctor (K8 or as I call her Kate) said 3L a day of my Kangen 9.5 PH water. . 🔺My stomachs problems are gone!
🔺 My headaches are gone 🔺 My arthritis pain is substantially less and some days gone.
🔺 My energy levels are way up
🔺 My depression is gone
🔺 I’m off the Anxiety meds
🔺 My endurance in athletes is better and I never feel bloated.
may the force be with you ⚡️
in every moment, you have a choice;
to allow the stream of love, the force of life to flow through your being.
nourishing and boosting your whole energy field, your body.
either you allow it or you don’t allow it.
how do you know if you do?
the connection to your true essence feels light, expanding, loving.. if you cut yourself of, it feels bad, or even mediocre.
simple as that.
now breathe and let everything go.
drop the resistance.
and open up your field to the universal force of wellbeing .

On days when I know I need to give out a lot I come back and reflect on my intention, why do I choose this path, what purpose does it serve for me and others? ⠀
Is teaching yoga a job? I don’t think so and I don’t ever want it to be labelled that way in my books. ⠀
Ultimately, I teach to serve others, to give each individual in the room an opportunity to be curious and to explore the ability to be authentic , to continuously refine themselves on a physical, energetic and mental level and to be a better version of their existing self. ⠀
Self care is important everyday.⠀
I recognise my students have taken the time out to look after themselves so it’s equally important that I look after myself by practicing, studying and meditating. ⠀
Without self care I would have nothing to offer - words will come out of my mouth without meaning and sequences without intention and intelligence. I’d be a worse version of myself. And if that’s what I’m offering to others then perhaps I’m better off not doing that, that’s my opinion 🤷🏻♀️⠀
I have spoken to numerous yoga teachers who don’t invest time on themselves on their practice and studies. They drag themselves to class on an empty tank. Their passion for yoga dwindles and teaching becomes a chore. ⠀
Take time to reflect back on your intention of why you chose this path, whether you teach yoga or the career path you have chosen to take, refuel along the way and heal and look after yourself first💜⠀

Some weeks ago I shared some random #wholesometribe thoughts that I had on my mind and they seemed to really resonate with you guys, so here’s some more for you to ponder on: (I actually write any random thoughts that I have down on my phone, most of the time I forget about them but lately I’ve been reading through these notes again and felt inclined to share, even though there’s no apparent thread that brings it all together...I’m basically just brain dumping my thoughts on you ☺️) 〰
Crying does not make you weak. It takes strength to listen to your emotions and allow yourself to release them — especially in front of others. 〰
Some people are not worth your energy. If they drain you, move on. Walking away from those people does not make you a quitter. It makes you intelligent enough to see your worth. 〰
Even when you have doubts about yourself, even when you are unsure of whether you can do it, do it anyways. It’s normal to have those thoughts, but don’t let them stop you in your tracks.
If you have been watching my stories, you know that I have been working on creating a mindfulness practice in my day to day life. Whether its meditation or going for a walk and zoning out, I have been focused on creating space for it.
Years ago I started meditating to help with my anxiety and the trauma of situations life had thrown my way. When I moved to London this practice got put on a shelf and with out realising it immediately, I began to notice that lack of practice was taking a toll especially through wedding planning and the adjustments that the first year of marriage was throwing my way. .
One day a couple months ago I sat on the train and the woman next to me had headspace on and was meditating. I don’t know why that made something click, but I just thought then and there, I need to do this and this woman is proving you can do it anywhere. So I downloaded the app and began giving myself that time on my morning commute. .
It all started with just the daily topics the app had, but after a couple weeks I knew I needed to address some of the things really getting to me day to day, starting with my self-confidence.
See I grew up overweight and continue to battle with the fluctuations, the bulges in weird places and this idea of perfection and lately that negative self talk has been really impacting me and getting stuck in my head. So I decided to sign up for the 30 day pack on self confidence with headspace and see if it could help me manage what was going on in my head.
This morning I finished the 30 day pack and while I haven’t squashed all the demons in my head, I have become so much more aware and able to shut / turn them down and almost turn those negative words around into positive affirmations - but I am far from 💯 on this. Its all just something that will take time. And this is time I am committed to giving.❤️
Over the last couple of years I have become a wellness junkie
Even though I might be taking a detour on my eating habits this summer it doesn’t mean that I’m not focusing on another aspect of my wellness journey ✨
However it doesn’t really matter if you are focusing on healthy eating, developing an exercise routine or aligning your spiritual self there is one thing that we need to always stay consistent ✨
Water💦 Yes you’re reading that correctly. All you really need is to stay hydrated, and nothing other than water will do that for you.
Water creates a balance to our system, and allows every inch of our body to function better
Treating your body daily to a water that can do more then just hydrate is essential, be a water snob and do your research before you just drink anything (especially those that just sit in bottles for years on end)
If water is not your favourite flavour try giving it a little something by adding lemons, limes, cucumbers, fruit or herbs.
You are doing your total body a favour by correctly nourishing it now what is your favourite way to drink water?
* PERFECT IS BORING *
It is totally okay to make a mistake... no one is perfect.
Make sure you take time to reflect and LEARN from your mistake. Make decisions based on your own happiness and never stop being yourself for anyone else. 🙌🙌🙌
Nice to meet you! Stay tuned 🙋🏻♀️ I have exciting announcements on the horizon. Watch for me pushing my comfort zone on 81818. Had a little photofun today with a beautiful #willowtree ... so appropriate. #bendbutdontbreak#wholelivingdesign

I am sure we have all encountered toxic people in our lives.
The ones who hurt us, demean us, lie to us, cheat on us or disappoint us repeatedly .
Toxic people can appear in different forms as a boss, co-worker , friend , lover or even a family member.
It is not possible to avoid interacting with toxic people if they happen to be a part of your work environment or part of your family .
So the best solution to win with a toxic person is not to play.
Not to participate in unhealthy arguments where they find opportunities to insult you or prey on your weaknesses .
This is only possible if you practice not reacting immediately to their negativity by:
1, Taking deep breaths to bring you back in the now moment by mentally saying these affirmations, “I trust and love my present now , I trust and love my higher self.” 2, When you become aware of the now with deep breaths , you remind yourself to connect with your higher self and to realise that this is an opportunity , a blessing to rise above negativity .
3, This will help you to not engage in arguments or try to defend your hurt ego. (Everyone has an ego, it helps us protect ourselves but the idea is to have a healthy ego that knows its self worth and can recognise how NOT to get affected by what toxic people say or do)
4, If you feel yourself getting pulled into negativity then excuse yourself (go to the restroom or attend to an important phone call ) buy yourself time so that you don’t get pulled into a pointless argument .
5, Once you regain your composure with either of the above steps - you will start getting better at staying calm during such attacks because you are no longer affected by their behaviour.
Remember staying calm is a super power. It buys us time to assess a situation so that we can proceed with the wisest solution possible without letting things become even more negative .
If you feel that you have reached a stage where you can attempt to help the toxic person realise how negative they are then make sure you weigh the pros and cons of such a confrontation.
I suggest only engaging with a toxic person, if (contd in comments )
In August 2013 I drove from Chicago to Toronto with @skyrkostas, reading, out loud, the heart-mending book Dear Sugar by @cherylstrayed. ⠀
Each piece pointed me to the teaching that the work of my soul was to build myself a home I could fully live in. I wrote it in my journals, chalked it on my chalk wall and etched it into my heart.
“You are here to build the home.”
In August 2014, I prepared my move to Venice with trust this was the next step in building that home.
Four years has taken me many places and most importantly, deep within. In four years I have gone dark and found light. I’ve hit up magical pockets of this earth, confirming for me that it doesn’t matter where I go - home, and life, follows everywhere. (So I better pick up my dirty laundry, dust the shelves and learn to love where I live.)
This home I have built takes me anywhere I am called to go with joy and ease. This home is safe and trusts. This home is valuable. This home has a lot to offer.
And this Home is ready to go.
Hit me up if you’re in upstate New York this week and want to explore Yoga nidra, look at the stars, play in the pool, lay in the grass or eat ripe August tomatoes.
Or come and visit this September in Italy or October in Spain... more details coming very soon!
⭐️ image from my sisters over at @worthybeyondpurpose who are doing the work to guide a generation of souls to build their homes, too.
Ever be afraid to fall apart
because it is an opportunity
to rebuild yourself
the way you wish you had been all along.
- Rae Smith
I am letting myself drown in feelings and emotions at the moment.
Letting myself feel every inch of my body and soul ache.
Surrendering to the intensity of my feelings.
I have been happier than ever before for the past 1.5 years.
I have built a life I love.
But I never gave myself time and permission to truly rekindle to my past.
To accept and let go.
And this time right here gives me the strength to fall apart and rebuild myself all over again.
It’s an intense healing from within that I never even realized how badly it was needed.
I am beyond grateful for finding this sacred place here in Bali which allows me to just be and go with the flow one day at a time. 🧘🏼♀️
Writing was an extremely valuable tool in managing my pain and helping me with my healing process. It was just myself, my thoughts and I. It was so therapeutic but also so painful to dig deep and remember all the memories. I cried a pile of tissues each time but I also felt a little lighter after revealing my personal most intimate feelings to complete stranger who would never know who I was (I posted them anonymously online). It was liberating.

You have this one life.
How do you wanna spend it? Apologizing? Regreting? Questioning? Healing yourself? Dieting? Running after people who don't see you?
Be brave. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good. Take risks. You have this one lift. Make yourself broud.
