So unfortunately my lung surgery was rescheduled to 9/25 due to one of the IR rooms being out of service. Unless I cough up more blood, I’d have to go in for emergency surgery before then.

We also felt this was the best move since I do have so much blood in my lungs, it’s a risky surgery. By giving myself a few more days to recover, it should make the intubation process a bit easier and less life-threatening.

Meanwhile, I spent about 18hrs a day asleep and am receiving IV meds around the clock. It’s honestly weird not being able to do literally anything on my own. I can’t wait to get this surgery over with and start fully recovering before deciding what to do about the tracheoesophageal fistula and patent foramen ovale they found during their tests...

Today, I feel defeated. I thought some of these issues had been behind me or at least, easier to deal with. ... I have an anxiety disorder. By extension, I have a rare advanced condition called PNES. (Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures) Fancy wording means they're brought on by stress, not electrical misfires inside the brain.

I discovered today that stress doesn't extend only to mental stress but physical stress as well. As I was going through my workout today, it amped up my anxiety disorder to the point that I almost had a seizure while doing my ab workout.  It worries me that I'll have to back down and not be able to push for the results I want.

I just don't know how to handle this.

this is a story full of many lessons but the lesson i want to showcase from this is that of
the importance of consistancey, perseverance and determination when trying to better your self acheive something or as i say personally "consistency is key [to success]" this is shown by many examples from thor treating to break all of lokis bones for forever till he undos another wrong doing or lokis persistently trying to save his skin the whole story or what we focus on this Brokkr and Eitri consistent determination to make the greatest gift for the despite lokis trying to sabatoge the brother by biting at Brokkr hands neck and eye lifes. Without Brokkr's determination and persitance to keep the bellows fires hot and consistent hot many gift including thors hammer may have been ruined leaving the Aesir weaponless and unprotected in short leading to many other trouble in asgard if Brokkr's will power to push threw no matter what was there

* Psychological symptoms: Irritable, angry, poor concentration and memory, feeling disconnected from the body and cut off from reality, worry, mind chatter, teary and emotionally sensitive.
* Behavioural symptoms: Clinging to people for reassurance. Withdrawal from people and social situations. A need for structure and control.
Your doctor or health practitioner may diagnose an anxiety disorder if symptoms persist longer than a six-month period with no known stress factor that if removed, would improve the symptoms.

烹調方法亦會改變食材的屬性,煎、炸、炒、焗、燒會使食物變得偏熱;蒸、燉、灼法則不會改變屬性。但凡未煮熟或冰冷的,多是「生冷」食物的定義。

For example, bitter melons are cool in nature, hairy gourds are mild, pumpkins are hot. If you are careful with your food combinations and choose mild-natured vegetables, being vegetarian will not lead to body being cold. 
Cooking methods can also alter nature of ingredients. Pan-frying, deep-frying, stir-frying, baking, or grilling will make the dish become hot; steaming and boiling does not change the food nature.

One week on my new skincare routine and I AM IN LOVE. I've been searching for my ride or die skin products and I think I may have found them! 
I've tried a few brands in the past (Tula which I liked but it was way more expensive, Burt's bees which I also liked but wasn't wowed and a few more) but I am loving these right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My biggest complaint besides hormonal outbreaks now and then is the texture of my skin. I had horrible texture on my forehead and chin and some on my cheeks. I'm talking little bumps that wouldn't go away and I was religious about my previous routine. 
Here is what I do now and I'm LOVING IT. The texture on my forehead has improved noticeably in just the week I've been doing this and I can't wait to see where I am in a month (even my bf noticed)!

One week on my new skincare routine and I AM IN LOVE. I've been searching for my ride or die skin products and I think I may have found them! I've tried a few brands in the past (Tula which I liked but it was way more expensive, Burt's bees which I also liked but wasn't wowed and a few more) but I am loving these right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My biggest complaint besides hormonal outbreaks now and then is the texture of my skin. Guys, it’s been since the end of July since I’ve done progress shots! It might not look any different but i see the difference in my shoulders. Arms and legs. I’ve lost an average of 1 inch all around, my weight has stayed around 154 ish for the last 2 months, and dropped down to 24.9% body fat. I’m lifting about 10-15 lbs more than I was 2 weeks ago!!! #progressshot #bodycomposition #changes

懷孕期間受荷爾蒙改變的影響,孕媽媽們有各式各樣不能自制的口味喜好,明知飲食要清淡,卻忽然嗜甜。吃完一大輪甜食後嘴巴雖滿足,卻對肚內寶寶充滿愧疚感,因為過度吃甜不但容易體重失控,更有可能患上妊娠糖尿病,但過份抑壓又會影響孕媽媽情緒健康,怎算好?

想吃甜食的話不妨自煮,既可控制甜度,更可選擇有益安胎的食材,例如屬性平和的桑寄生,具滋補肝腎、養血安胎的作用,配搭養心安神的蓮子,以及滋陰潤燥又健腦的雞蛋,煮一碗桑寄生蓮子蛋茶,滿足一下嗜甜的舌頭,兼具安胎功效。

桑寄生蓮子百合茶
材料:桑寄生30克、新鮮蓮子80克、乾百合15克、片糖適量
做法:
1. 蓮子去芯;桑寄生洗淨放入魚湯袋備用。
2. 於鍋中加入約1000毫升水,加入桑寄生及蓮子百合,武火煮至水滾,改文火煮40分鐘,最後加入片糖,待片糖煮溶即成。

Due to hormonal changes during pregnancy, expecting mothers may have different cravings, and some even prefer sweets. It may be satisfying to have dessert, but that can lead to weight gain or even gestational diabetes. Overly controlling sweets intake can be difficult, what can be done?

Try making your own dessert to control sweetness level and include ingredients that will nourish the baby. Chinese taxillus herb replenishes the kidneys and liver, nourishes blood and baby. Coupled with lotus seeds which can calm the mind and egg to nourish yin, relieve dryness and strengthen the brain.

Lily bulb tea with Chinese taxillus herb and lotus seeds
Ingredients: 30g Chinese taxillus herb, 80g fresh lotus seeds, 15g dried Lily bulbs, slab sugar to taste 
Preparation:
1. Remove pitt from lotus seeds. Rinse herb and place into fish soup bag. 
2. Combine herb, lotus seeds and lily bulbs with 1000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 40 minutes. Add in sugar and let it melt.

Nutritious Vegetarian Soup to Strengthen the Spleen and Nourish Baby
What kind of soup can expecting mothers have? As everyone, including pregnant ladies, have different body types, we would suggest mild-natured soups with tomatoes, potatoes, cashews, hairy gourd, black-eyed pea, and tofu, etc. Try also add in herbs that can strengthen the spleen and nourish yin such as Chinese yam, lotus seeds, snow fungus, lily bulbs, wolfberries, black beans, walnuts.  Do not add in other herbs unless instructed by a professional. It is beneficial to have fish soup as they can be quite nutritious. For those sensitive to the fish smell, try adding in two slices of ginger to reduce that. 
Lotus root soup with Chinese yam and carrot
Ingredients: 1 lotus root, 1 fresh Chinese yam, 1 carrot, 30g red beans, 40g red kidney beans, 2 candied dates, 1 dried citrus peel
Preparation:
1. Peel lotus root, fresh Chinese yam and carrot and cut into pieces. 
2. Combine all ingredients with 2000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hour. Add salt to taste. 
Effects: Strengthen the spleen, stimulate appetite, and relieve dryness. Suitable for expecting mothers during fall.
