Still can not believe sometimes that i have went from a size 24 to 14! It is all thanx to @slimmingworld and all it took was a year or learning new eating habits that will last a lifetime!. The pic on left i wasn't even at my biggest the right was taken in August this year. I am 1Ib off my 6 1/2 stone award (fingers crossed Thursday) the last month or so has been pretty slow weight loss wise but some personal things going on so i know i have not been 100% on it but some things are more important. I now feel motivated once more to get to target by February 2019 (mums 55th Bday) so hopefully a successful 6 months ahead! 😍

The longer we sit the more this seems to become a problem. We try to resolve the problem, usually by taking a short break, maybe a toilet stop, a cuppa or just a stroll down the office corridor.

Have you ever considered that prolonged sitting reduces blood flow to the brain, leading to a reduction in cognitive function? The long term effects of this are an increase in not only cardio vascular disease risk, but increased risk for neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia.

It has been known for some time that prolonged sitting impairs peripheral blood flow and function to all of our body. This reduced blood flow over time creates an environment detrimental to overall health. In fact the saying “Sitting is the new smoking” has been used to show how serious sitting at work and then at home has become. .
Science repeatedly indicates its bad news and reinforces that humans are designed for lots of daily movement. In fact our DNA is expecting significant daily movement for many of our genes to work correctly.

A very recent study looked at a small group of healthy desk workers and measured blood flow throughout the brain. The results concluded that prolonged uninterrupted sitting in these subjects did indeed reduce blood flow to the brain. .
However, and here is the take away message, this was offset when frequent, short duration walking breaks were taken. .
In summary, you are saving your brain from potential issues as you age, if you choose to go for a 2 minute walk for every 30 minutes of sitting at your desk. .

Yesterday was insane while tornado after tornado touched down in Richmond, but I’m incredibly thankful to be safe and have the choice of a slow morning at home 🙏🏼
I’ve been working two hours on and two hours off, either to be a complete bum on the couch with my latest Hulu obsession or catch up on some chores around the apartment! 
Now it’s time to head out to Short Pump for some errands that I’ve been putting off and sit down at the cutest Starbucks in the West End for the afternoon to check in on my clients and crank out some emails for all of you who are ready to put yourselves first 😍

Never give up on your goals! I wanted so badly to lose weight because I lacked so much confidence after having my second baby and once I finally stopped stressing so hard about losing weight and actually just eating healthy, sticking to a meal plan and making time to workout at least 30 minutes per day, I finally saw progress. -take t i m e : healthy bodies need it. you can’t expect to wake up the next day fixed so don’t rush it. be patient.
-incorporate small simple changes : eating more whole foods, moving your body daily in some form, etc. SMALL people, you don’t have to do it all today
-be consistent : if you really want something, you’ve got to be consistent.
-have positivity : wow. let me tell you, a positive mindset can change everything for you. try it out ;)
-love yourself : everyone is different, compare your old self and be better if you need but don’t compare yourself to others - EVER.

Loving this delicious breakfast mix this morning. The best thing about having made so much chocolate nicecream that even greedy me can't manage to eat it all up.... there's some left the next day!
Still enjoying the lusciously ripe figs, which go so well with that dense chocolatey taste and adding a hint of textured nuttiness this morning with swirls of tahini (how I've missed you, welcome back!) and crunchy pre-soaked almonds.
Having stuck pretty rigidly to the Auto Immune Protocol for 3 months, it's such a treat to be able to add in some reintroductions now - chia seeds, almonds, tahini have all been absent from my diet since May, and it's a slow process bringing them back in, one at a time, making sure there are no negative reactions for a few days before before introducing the next one.  It's definitely changed my conception of food tho, even though I was pretty pleased with myself eating a healthy diet before I started AIP.  Now I'm very focused on the whole "nutrient dense" aspect of nutrition, and that's definitely something that's going to stay with me, even when I've established that there's a lot of things I can eat again.

To lower your risk for long-term health effects it is recommended to have at least 2 alcohol-free days per week. Also, women should stick to no more than 10 standard drinks per week with only 2 per day. And men should stick to no more than 15 standard drinks with only 3 per day. .
What is “a drink?” Is it one fishbowl, a titanic, or a boot? Is it that giant wineglass that holds an entire bottle? NO. A standard drink is 12 oz of beer, cider, or coolers, 5 oz of wine, and 1.5 oz of hard alcohol. .
This principle goes for cannabis consumption as well. Less is always more. It is recommended to space out your intake sessions and take a break from cannabis for 1 week out of the month. .

Yesterday was the worst day in my journey so far

Woke up with what seems to felt like a migraine... Took a migraine cocktail and slept almos all day

The cocktail didn't work, so I took another shot...and slept... This morning I woke up with back and neck pain... I was basically falling into my hole again... That hole of depression, that hole of giving up... Falling back into old habits... And the I opened Instagram... And first post I saw... I'VE WON A PRIZE... 😁😁 Not just any prize... Ellagance desert moon pallet😍

Selain mengenyangkan - pisang sebenarnya adalah sumber energi yang membantu fungsi otak bekerja secara optimal karena banyak mengandung vitamin seperti  vitamin C,B6, B kompleks dan serotonim.
