Been working on these legs for months in preparation for ski season 🎿! This will be the first winter in 9 seasons that I am truly able to ski again. I was either pregnant, dealing with a torn hip, or sick from lyme disease the past 9 seasons. I still skied, but it was not like it should be when it comes to skiing.
I am going into this winter feeling stronger than I have been in years. More stamina, more strength. I cannot wait to hit up the slopes and just let loose. Praying for an epic season!
I don't know about you but it felt like the weekend went way too fast! My bed felt awful comfy this morning which made it extra hard to get up this morning. But, it's Monday and I'm not skipping my workout, especially since it's the last week of my current program!
It's been a busy, long few months for me. Finally got the girls and I moved, settled, and back into the swing of things.
I was having an off day yesterday, and my best friend gave me the best advice: go run. For me, running has been and always will be therapy. So after lifting, onto the treadmill I went, since it was a nice balmy 27°F outside. A few miles later I felt normal again.
Exercise shouldn't just about changing the way you look, it's good for your mental and emotional health too. When you feel bad, go throw some iron around, run awhile and you'll feel better. Promise. 💕

Mezclar en una olla :
• 50 gr de avena en ojuelas ( yo utilicé un mix de 5 cereales) • 200 ml de leche vegetal.
• 20 g de proteina.
• 1 cucharita de chia.
• 1 cucharita de omega 3. • 1 cucharada de #burcha • Canela + stevia.
Llevar a fuego bajo hasta que reduzca por completo el líquido, se puede comer fría o caliente.
Topping: agregué • #frambuesas + #frutillas + #banana + #uvas + #polen .

Been super duper quiet on here - sorry. I still need to do my weigh in for the month. Will post once done. Not gone as well as I wanted I'm sure but my blog is to be open and honest. Biasanya saat membeli martabak asing/daging penjual menggunakan banyak minyak untuk menggoreng dan juga minyak yang digunakan terlihat hitam dan kotor.
Kalau ingin makan martabak yang lebih sehat ikuti resep praktis Martabak Daging ala Chef Farah Quinn berikut ini yuk!
1. Bahan Isian Martabak
75 gr wortel potong dadu
150 gr daging cincang.
bumbu : garam, merica, dan satu siung bawang bombay.
satu butir telur bebek
2. Bahan Kulit Martabak
250 gr tepung terigu
dua butir telur
25 gr mentega
600 cc air.
3. Cara membuat
Masak dulu bahan isian martabak. Panaskan minyak kemudian masukkan wortel selang semenit masukkan daging. Aduk sampai rata kemudian tambahkan bumbu garam dan merica secukupnya. Jika daging berubah warna menjadi kecoklatan, tandanya sudah matang.
Selesai memasak bahan isian martabak, buat adonan kulit martabak. Panaskan mentega yang sudah disiapkan. Campurkan garam ke dalam tepung terigu dan aduk sampai rata. Tambahkan telur dan mentega yang sudah dipanaskan ke dalam adonan tepung terigu, kemudian aduk lagi sampai rata.
Selanjutnya mulai membuat martbak. Sebagai bahan isian, kocok telur bebek bersama dengan bawang bombay, kemudian masukan bahan isian yang sudah jadi. Tambahkan lagi bumbu, garam dan merica sesuai dengan selera.
Kemudian, masukkan satu centong adonan kulit martabak ke dalam wajan yang sudah dipanaskan. Ratakan adonan sampai memenuhi wajan. Gunakan wajan anti lengket sehingga kamu tidak perlu menggunakan minyak untuk menggoreng.
Setelah itu tambahkan bahan isian ke bagian tengah wajan, kemudian bungkus dengan bahan adonan. Kita juga bisa mengoleskan margarin ke atas martabak yang sedang dimasak.

I believe Jesus calls us to risk because He knows on the other side of God-honoring, obedient risk is more of Him.
We get more of Him when we need Him. And risk forces us to need Him.

So I brought Premier protein powder in vanilla flavor to see how it taste, the pre-made vanilla taste better than this one Ijs.

I know this isn’t the most appealing picture but after I posted it in my stories a few days ago I got a TON of requests for the recipe. So here it is!
Ground Turkey/Beef Sweet potato skillet:
1/2 Diced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1lb Ground beef or turkey
2 large or 3 small sweet potatoes
1 Red bell pepper
1/2-3/4 cup water
1/2 cup low fat cheese
Mix minced garlic with turkey or beef. Add in onion. Cook and mix in spices (I never measure them 😆)#sorry . Once cooked, add in sweet potato with 1/2 cup of water. Cover for 10 mins and let the sweet potato cook. You maybe have to add more water so the meat doesn’t get dry. Once done add cheese on top until it melts and ENJOY!
Honestly, it’s super easy and DELICIOUS. I used the leftovers for a taco salad the next day. I also wanted to add in some finely chopped kale but I never had any. Experiment with it and let me know if you like it!

You KNOW what you need to heal and nourish your mind and body, but’s it’s gotta start with belief that you do💜
Such a full circle moment as I stand here with this amazing lady! She may not know the true deep impact she had on my life... I took one of her kickboxing classes in the gym by my house ___ years ago (I’m not dating us😂😂) and here I am years later standing with her getting my 3rd fitness instructor certification ! ❤️
I never thought this would be a chapter in my story and sure, I could’ve taken the safe road, but I chose to take the path less traveled...I chose to push to become a fitness instructor and a fitness and nutrition coach so I could help other women, not just in their fitness journey but to actually help heel life’s issues.
So do yourself a favor, be encouraged by the progress you’ve made so far, even if you’re not exactly where you want to be...The second you begin to think about everything you’re not, you lose the ability to celebrate how far you’ve actually come!
Every journey is completely different, but if there’s one thing I know for sure...It’s that there is no right or wrong way to write your story...Because it’s yours...
Keep taking care of you...Keep learning...Keep growing...Be willing to change...And most importantly, be unapologetically you and continue to write your story. ✌🏻

Be the positivity in someone's day. There is too much time wasted on negativity, and I don't have time for that! Don't be afraid to compliment someone, because you never know how you could brighten someone's day.
I started making it a point to give compliments as often as possible, even complete strangers when I see something I genuinely like. An article of clothing, accessory, shoes, whatever! Sometimes I feel like they might think I am weird, but I know that I feel good when I get a compliment, so I want to share that good feeling with others!
