*Anzeige / Gesunder Kaiserschmarn 💕
* 2 Eier * 100 g Vollkorn- oder Hafermehl
* 100 g Magerquark
* 200 ml Sprudelwasser
* 1 TL Backpulver * Süssungsmittel nach Wahl ( z. B. 50 g Erythrit von @xucker.de oder Flavor Drops von @womensbest )
* Topping freie Wahl, bei mir gab es Kirschen 🍒 Mandelmus von @rewe und Mandeljoghurt von @alpro dazu, genau so kann man auch Apfelmus oder andere Beeren 🍇 dazu essen

Yes thats right PINK!!
I used to run all the time and at one stage when I was eating really well I lost about 5kgs which made me super happy. The thing was though, I mostly lost muscle. I might have been skinnier but I wasn’t fitter or stronger.
I have put that 5kgs back on now and you know what? I look the same only fitter and stronger and with better muscle tone.
Because I started strength training and working my muscles harder. I now do a combination of weight training, HIIT workouts and running. I feel heather, stronger and better for it. The scales should not define us.
and this is how sunday’s prep just made tonight’s dinner situation so much easier (and yummyerrr) 🙌🏼
🥗: bed of spring mix, topped with ground turkey, roasted sweet potatoes, persian cucumbers🥒, grape tomatoes, and drizzled with @bolthousefarms avocado ranch and lemon juice🍋🍋
this might sound simple (maybe even boring) but i can assure it’s quite delicious... and lets not forget convenient. that’s always a plus in my books 😉 #WellnessWednesday

Okay...who else is obsessed with sweet potatoes?! Because I truly think I could eat them everyday, every meal, and never get tired of them😍🍠🤷🏽♀️
I was craving sweet potatoes and peanut butter for lunch (I didn’t eat a good breakfast so my body was like what the heck is going on!). And then I came up with the best idea EVER! I sliced some sweet potatoes and toasted them for about 4 mins (I did this twice) and then put some peanut butter, cinnamon, turmeric, chia seeds, raw pumpkin seeds, mixed nuts, and berries on top....GUYS🤯🤤 Seriously so good!!!! And easy, which is always a plus!
Worth reiteration. We all love a good glass (or bottle) of wine. 🍾 It can be the perfect summer beverage for any day or night. However like any other alcoholic drink, the calories add up. Many of us are very health conscious and care a lot about what we put into our bodies. For some reason that seems to stop when it comes to wine, but it shouldn’t have to. These are some of the best wines to drink if you’re watching calories and sugar content. 🍷Compliments of spoonuniversity.com
Sparkling Wines ~ 110 calories per flute
A glass of bubbly seems like the perfect summer drink, but be sure to check the label for a “brut nature” or “brut zero” designation, which signifies that hardly any extra sugar has been added.
While all sparkling wines have a certain amount of sugar, which is necessary for the fermentation process that creates the bubbles, if you’re avoiding sugar stick to brut nature varieties of Champagne, Cava, and sparkling wine from the U.S.
These regions have stricter rules about added sugar than Italy, where prosecco is produced. One five-ounce glass of brut nature Champagne has around 120 calories, compared to around 175 for a sweet Champagne.
Riesling and Pinot Grigio ~ 110 calories per glass
In general, white wines tend to be lower in alcohol and calories than reds. Light white varieties such as Riesling, pinot grigio, and vino verde have fewer calories than whites with higher ABVs like Moscato, Chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, and viognier.
Rosé ~ 140 calories per glass
Similar in calorie count to reds, Rosé is a slightly sweeter alternative and your classic summer wine. You obviously can’t go without it, and you don’t need to.
Pinot Noir ~ 150 calories per glass
While light whites have around 140 calories or less per six-ounce glass, a light red has between 135 to 165 calories, and a red with higher alcohol content can have up to 200 in a glass. If you prefer red wine but don’t want to sacrifice taste for calories, your best bet is pinot noir. .
Sourdough spelt croissants may look beige, but they taste incredible. As our bakers will tell you, making the perfect sourdough croissant takes time and effort but it’s well worth it and these sell out most mornings in the cafe. People with gluten intolerances often tell us they can tolerate spelt as though it contains gluten, it can often be digested far easier than wheat. Have you tried one of these yet? | #modernbaker
Feels Like I Never Left ⠀
It is WEIRD being back, I feel like I never left and I’ve pretty much done normal things I did while I was living here. Go the beach, run some errands, go to Pilates, hang out with friends and the family I used to nanny. ⠀
Trips like these are perfect for self-reflection. Seeing where I’ve grown, and how I’ve been able to make decisions and do things I simply wouldn’t have here. I would love to be on the beach all day and hanging out with my friends. It’s so easy to remember all the good times. But when I think about all the rough times I’m like wow that was HARD. ⠀
It’s tough being in a place where you want one thing, but know it’s not the best for you. If I’ve learned anything over the last couple of years it’s that life can change on a dime and you have no idea what’s going to happen.
Always stay true to the best path for YOU as long as it’s the best for you.
Every morning, we start with a cup of hot water with a lemon slice, 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of cinnamon. We have this tea about 30 minutes before we break(our)fast. The apple cider vinegar balances healthy pH levels to kill off bad gut bacteria. The lemon promotes digestive enzymes in your gut and the cinnamon stabilizes blood sugar levels. From there, we get our workout in followed by a breakfast full of protein and fiber filled carbs (like greek yogurt with berries.)
Similarly, one of our good friends, Anne @anitarapita, is a gut health expert and loves drinking hot water with ginger!
What’s your favorite pre-breakfast drink that’s become part of your routine?
Swirl goals 💕 @foodbyrach! Put this pitaya smoothie on the menu for your coconut bowls this weekend!
"-2 frozen 🍌
-1 packet @pitayaplus
- vanilla bean
- coconut milk
- coconut butter
You can also do frozen coconut milk cubes to make the nice cream creamier// ✨
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz can) crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
black pepper, to taste
3 medium (8 ounces each) zucchini, sliced 1/8″ thick
1 1/2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
16 oz (4 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium sauce pan, brown meat and season with salt. When cooked drain to remove any fat. Add olive oil to the pan and saute garlic and onions about 2 minutes. Return the meat to the pan, add tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer on low for at least 30-40minutes, covered. Do not add extra water, the sauce should be thick. Meanwhile, slice zucchini into 1/8″ thick slices, add lightly salt and set aside or 10 minutes. Zucchini has a lot of water when cooked, salting it takes out a lot of moisture. After 10 minutes, blot excess moisture with a paper towel. Preheat a grill to medium high, and grill 2 to 3 minutes per side, until slightly browned. Place on paper towels to soak any excess moisture. Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl mix cottage cheese, parmesan cheese and egg. Stir well. In a 9×12 casserole spread 1/2 cup of sauce on the bottom and layer the zucchini to cover. Spread 1/2 cup of the cottage cheese mixture, then top with 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and repeat the process until all your ingredients are used up. The last layer top with remaining zucchini and sauce, cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Uncover the foil and bake 20 minutes (to dry up the sauce) then place the remaining 1 cup mozzarella and bake until melted, 10 minutes. Let stand about 5 – 10 minutes before serving.
