🤗 Decided to upgrade our juicer to a masticating one 💚 We’ve had our Breville for about 4 years. Since I have juice every day, and sometimes twice a day, it was time for a more efficient one that keeps more nutrients in the juice, increases juice/pulp ratio, and greatly reduces the oxidation process. I can also make nut butters, sorbet, and pasta!

What I love about these raw bars is they don’t need any additional sweetener other than what is naturally found in the fruit. The sweetness is subtle and comes from the natural sugars of the fruit in the whole form. Nature has a great way of packaging foods so they offer balance. The fiber and antioxidants found in the fruit helps to buffer the release of sugar into our bloodstream after consuming, which is a different effect compared to pure sugar. The preserves are made with local peaches, chia seeds, lemon zest 🍋, and vanilla. Just let these simmer together. Chocolate and orange!! Its a match made in heaven!I love the way the citrusy taste balances the chocolate flavours.This is my version of the same.Really hit the spot for my chocolate cravings!!delicious!!

soft boiled eggs literally make my heart sing. that with mashed avocado on a ghee slathered bread is the best. 🌿🌱 anddddd cause i have never been one to choose one or the other. @canyonglutenfree gluten free bread, toasted then smothered @fourthandheart pink salt ghee. then top one with mashed avocado + @majesticgarlic creamy basil garlic, top with jammy eggs, tons of nutritional yeast + black pepper. then cover the other one with tahini + local raspberry jam 🤤🤤 #followourpassionstyle #glutenfreebread #glutenfreeeats

A simple bouquet of zinnias, dill, and lemon balm can dress up an entire home. The colors, fragrances, and sheer life force  can bring tremendous uplift. .

Here are a few tips to keep cut flowers fresh:

*Cut the stems of the flowers at an angle. This allows the flower to soak up nutrients more easily.

*Add a drop of Melaleuca essential oil and a teaspoon of sugar to a cup of water and add to a flower water. The melaleuca helps kill bacteria that leads to mold growth.
.
*Use filtered water to reduce the amount of chlorine and other minerals or chemicals often found in tap water. These substances diminish plant health.
.
*Change flower water and recut flower stems (just a tiny bit) every 2–3 days. A cut flower stem eventually seals up, preventing nutrient assimilation. So cutting the stems and adding more nutrients helps preserve the flowers.

*Keep cut flowers away from direct heat and light (if possible).

Anna got the ancient grains bowl with tofu (which I think is one of their popular dishes) and I got the seasonal salad w all the veg😊 and some goat cheese. and then we went to this coffee shop called coffeebar in Menlo Park. If you think you will not be able to taste popcorn again after starting a lectin free / grain free diet, think again. Sorghum, a grain native to Africa and and a staple in Africa, India, Central America is the fifth most important cereal crop in the world (according to Wikipedia). Sorghum is lectin free and gluten free and it pops exactly like corn, it’s just much smaller. I also use it to replace rice in different dishes like risottos or cabbage rolls. I’ve been eating super low carb this past week, and starting the cleanse tomorrow, so I felt like having some carbs tonight. If you think you will not be able to taste popcorn again after starting a lectin free / grain free diet, think again. Sorghum, a grain native to Africa and and a staple in Africa, India, Central America is the fifth most important cereal crop in the world (according to Wikipedia). Sorghum is lectin free and gluten free and it pops exactly like corn, it’s just much smaller. I also use it to replace rice in different dishes like risottos or cabbage rolls. I’ve been eating super low carb this past week, and starting the cleanse tomorrow, so I felt like having some carbs tonight. I have a nice simple summer smoothie recipe to make your Monday alil brighter:
-Two handfuls of a frozen berry mixture of black berries, blue berries, strawberries 🍓🍓
-1 ripe banana🍌
- 6-7 ice cubes
- 1 ripe avocado🥑
- Handful of spinach - Alittle bit of almond milk, the less you put the thicker the smoothie ☺️ (if you want alittle more sweetness add a bit of honey🍯)
Blend together and enjoy!

definitely feeling the winter vibes this morning.... however this afternoon was a muuuchhh different story😳 hope everyone is staying cool during this heat wave! made the usual banana whipped oats (it’s literally the only way i eat oatmeal now) with some frozen raspberries, blueberries, berries pollen, and coconut shreds, and topped it off with a puddle of @grounduppdx chunky almond, cashew, and coconut nut butter.  heart’s feeling full and i’m so grateful for that ❤️

Sometimes I just don’t have time to make it all from scratch. Here are a couple of my #favorite clean, pre-made, go-to products that make life easier when I’m in a hurry and still want to eat something #clean at home.

Today’s quick #lunch: I roasted large diced red bell pepper, yellow onion, fresh garden summer squash & zucchini in the oven at 425°F for 35 minutes after tossing in avocado oil, salt & pepper. During the last 10 minutes of bake time, I boiled a pot of water to cook the @cappellos #glutenfree #paleo #gnocchi . It comes frozen & cooks in 4 minutes! 4 minutes, y’all! So fast & it has a perfect texture! I drained it, squeezed on my #dairyfree #plantbased #nongmo #pesto by #legrandpowerofplants and tossed gently. With these two awesome products, I have a quick, clean and #delicious #meal in just over half and hour!

Now, I could have said “ SUCK IT UP and stop being a loser, no pain no gain!” - unfortunately, this is what most of the fitness industry would say to you.

It’s easy to sell a hard and unforgiving mentality, and that’s probably because most of us need a kick up the bum to get started.

However, it’s not so easy to sell a more realistic and sustainable mindset.
⠀
Truth is that this is part of the process. Progress is not linear.
⠀
Consistency > Perfection.
⠀
As long as we are at least taking small steps consistently, we are making progress.
⠀
E.g. If you’ve missed a few gym sessions but are still eating veggies with every meal, you’re still making progress.
⠀
Focus on the small wins.

Take it step by step, day by day. Let the small wins give you the momentum to get back on track.
⠀
No matter how small it may be (e.g. 5 mins of stretching instead of attending 1 hour of yoga) it’s still a win.

My favorite and super easy pasta sauce: PESTO🌿(recipe below👇🏼)
There are 3 cups of greens in this delicious sauce🙌🏼
Traditional Italian tagliatelle + plant-powered pesto + sundried tomatoes + local pea shoots + hemp hearts💚
Plant-powered pesto🌿:
2 cups fresh basil leaves
1 cup arugula or spinach 
2 garlic cloves
1 lemon juiced
1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts
2 tbsp nutritional yeast 
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil 
Sea salt & cracked pepper🌿
Blend all ingredients until smooth and pour over fresh noodles!

🍋COCONUT LEMON PROTEIN BITES🍋

INGREDIENTS
1/4 c almond flour
1 scoop French Vanilla IdealLean Protein
1/2 c unsweetened coconut
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. lemon zest
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. agave
1 tsp. vanilla extract
dash of salt

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Use hand to mix and knead ingredients together. 2. Scoop out about 1 tbsp. of mixture and roll into a ball with hands.
3. Optional: Roll in addition coconut to cover the outside of the ball.
4. Set in fridge for 1 hour to chill and set. Makes about 8 balls.

1/4 cup red onion very thinly sliced
1 avocado peeled, pit removed, then diced
1/4 cup fresh dill finely chopped

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

#lbh last week was a disaster when it comes to making better choices. I wasn't able to hit the gym because...life and late nights at the office meant I gave myself a little too much wiggle room on the food front. #lbh  last week was a disaster when it comes to making better choices. I wasn't able to hit the gym because...life and late nights at the office meant I gave myself a little too much wiggle room on the food front. Plus, add in a complete junk haul over the weekend for #whoknowswhy  and... I'm hitting the refresh button today. We'll call this little bright spot of sunshine my #mondaymotivation ! This is a hugely important thing that I've learnt over the last couple years. Your body is so smart and if you learn to pay attention to what it's telling you.

Sliding through these photos I've also learnt a lot about consistency, and now even though I lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. I later found out it was so hard to maintain if I wasn't doing something I enjoyed.

Now I eat and eat when it comes to healthy and nutritious foods, and I eat everything else too in moderation. I weight lift because it's the exercise I've found that works the best for me and my personal goals. Find something that makes you love your body and your life 💖💖💖

Refreshing summer crunch! Taste is so good, every bite so satisfying 😁🍃💝🍃 Recipe for 1
1 small head of romaine lettuce 
1 small avocado, cut in cubes 
1 pinch (1-2 tablespoons) fresh cilantro leaves
1 tablespoon Marcona almonds with rosemary (@traderjoes has)
Dressing super simple
1-2 tablespoons extra virgin Olive oil
1 small lemon, juice of lemon
Dash of black pepper & Himalayan sea salt to taste!

I'M IN LOVE!! 💞 This is EXACTLY how I like to workout. The first half was all lifting and then there were some short HIIT intervals that are perfect for people like me who loathe long cardio workouts 👎but can tolerate short bursts of it. 👌The tail end of every workout has a short core circuit. 
This one was a bit longer at 39 minutes in length, mostly because it's day 1 and Joel wants to be sure that you have your form right for all the lifts. It FELT much shorter though. 🏋️‍♀️ Get in, get out, get on with your life. ☀️🤸‍♀️ My goal with this is to build more lean muscle, so I'm following the nutrition plan and eating 1800 to 2099 calories a day to do so. That's a lot of food! 😮

I love my 2B Mindset, and will return to it once I finish this program as it is written, but I take these Coach Test Groups very seriously and follow them to the T so as to give an accurate representation of what is possible when you go all in for the duration. 💯 
In this case, it's only 4 days a week, with 3 rest days for 8 weeks. I get to eat whatever I want on Sundays. You'd better believe that's gonna include 🍸🍷🧀🍦! This is gonna be one cool, fancy-free summer!! 😎

I picked a few up from my neighborhood Fred Meyer’s, which carries local, fresh stone fruit including peaches, nectarines, apricots and plums. Although I love biting into a fresh, juicy peach, I also like using them in my baking, smoothies and frozen recipes like this No-Bake Peaches & Cream Cake. @FredMeyerStores #FreddyFinds 
No-Bake Peaches & Cream Cake
Ingredients:
Crust
- 1 Cup blanched almond flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil (room temp)
- 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Filling
- 2 large, fresh peaches pitted & chopped (about 2 Cups)
- 1 Cup coconut cream (refrigerated overnight)
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping (optional)
- 1/4 Cup coconut cream
- 1/4 large, fresh peach, pitted & chopped
- 1-2 Tbsp slivered almonds - Shredded coconut - Bee pollen 
Instructions:
Crust
(1) Combine all dry ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl (2) Mix in wet ingredients with fork, then knead dough with hands, until dough is a uniform consistency (3) Press dough onto lined 6" round springform pan, set aside.
Filling
(1) Add peaches to blender and puree (2) In small saucepan, combine remaining filling ingredients. Melt on low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is smooth (3) Add mixture to pureed peaches and blend (4) Pour filling over crust and place in freezer until set.
Topping
(1) Once filling has set, spread coconut cream on filling (2) Decorate with chopped peaches, slivered almonds, shredded coconut & bee pollen (3) Defrost 10-15 minutes, cut and serve

Ok ok I promise I’ll share something savory with you guys very soon but I just couldnt resist making these vegan collagen brownie cookiesss 🙌🏽 baking healthy goods is pretty awesome cause the combos are freakin endless ✨ adding superfoods is always a must with me! Gotta sneak them goods in 👀 Here is my creations loves🍪: 2 scoops @alohamoment chocolate protein powder + flax egg + 1 cup macadamia milk + @furtherfood collagen peptides + maca + 1 tbsp baking soda + 1/2 cup raw cacao + 1/3 cup maple syrup + 1/2 cup cashew butter topped with chopped brazil nuts 💛 mix wet with dry per usual, roll into balls and flatten, I baked mine at 350 for 15 minutes and they were chewy gooey. Have yourselves an awesome lil week!! 🧚🏻‍♂️ #katchingwellness

I had them take out the soft drinks and alcohol from the mini fridge in the hotel where I’m staying for two weeks with my dog while I await a new apartment to move in to. I replaced their food with mine. It’s not as easy as being at home but can be done. I really only feel well when I eat well and am highly sensitive. These tasted like cookie dough! Healthy cookie dough bites for our table talk at the hospital tomorrow. Recipe from the @beamingbaker ingredients include oat flour, pure maple syrup, coconut, coconut oil and dark chocolate chips. No bake. Easy and quick. These are dense and filling and make for a healthy dessert option that contain whole food ingredients. #mostlyplantbased I bet you could sub out chocolate for raisins, add a little cinnamon and make all #plantbased but then why sub out chocolate 🍫 .
