I’m on plant based diet for more than  2 years now and I don’t miss meat at all. Well funnily, only when I’m starving I crave sausages and cheese but as soon as I have eaten those evil thoughts disappear 😈

I feel more healthy, less full after a meal, more vibrant during the day and more powerful whilst exercising. The common question “where do you get your protein from?” Is just ridiculous. All the veggies and legumes I consume in a meal nourish my body with the right amount of protein. So no worries, just eat a variety of different kind of unprocessed foods.

So guys, go and try to implement some plant-based-days a week, you won’t regret it and your body neither :D 💪🏼 #healthydiet

The carbs your body DOES need for high energy are complex carbs like leafy green veggies!

When you travel a lot you never know whether your flight will arrive on time or a few hours later. 
It just happened to me during my last trip from NY and Cancun. 
That is why I always travel with my food.
I usually make my salad at home or order it at a salad bar or a restaurant and I take it with me to the airport. 
Taking my food with me gives me peace of mind that I will have a healthy meal that will make me feel good. 
I know what I will be eating so I don’t have to figure out what I’m going to get and where when I get to the airport.

Honestly, my triceps have always been the hardest muscle for me to improve. Like most hoomans out there, the tricep is a smaller muscle group so it’s harder to grow, AND it’s hard to concentrate on..

Do not get discouraged by others in the gym. Keep your eyes on the prize and keep working. Be patient. It’ll come to you slowly. You don’t know how long others have been working or if they are taking something..

The biggest factor standing in your way is not truly your work ethic or what supplements you’re taking...its genetics. This is why I tell everyone to work their butt off and be patient. It may take years to achieve the body you want, but you have to constant remind yourself of your goals..

If you want bigger arms, focus more on your triceps rather than your biceps. Your tricep makes up 2/3rds of your arms and will give the illusion of a bigger arm once they start to grow. I’ve always been bicep heavy (meaning my bicep was always bigger than my tricep) until I put in the effort to workout my tricep and really focus on good form. I’m still not Hercules but I’ve made changes and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplish. Still working, still learning, still building, still achieving..

I am so trying to keep a lid on emotional eating today whilst climbing the wall with a potty training 3 year old and an 8 week old with sleep aversion! Is it supposed to be this hard?? 😥 I have absolutely no patience when it comes to this sort of thing, I'm just so frustrated and want to shove everything and anything bad in my mouth! I've been on plan so far today but I still have 4 hours until toddler bedtime so I'm not making any promises!

Good Morning!
So I’ve been doing this Herbalife 3-day liquid lean cleanse. This cleanse is meant to drain any toxins in your body, kickstart your metabolism, reduce bloat, and aid in weight loss. I just completed day 1 yesterday. For that day, I had to drink 2 gallons of water mixed in with 8 scoops of mango peach beverage mix, 9 capfuls of mango herbal aloe concentrate, and 2 teaspoons of peach herbal tea concentrate. The drink was packed full of protein, vitamins, and lots of healthy nutrients! I ended up finishing it all last night and although I felt a little hungry, I also felt really good about myself and healthy. Today, for day 2, I get to drink 5 Herbalife protein meal replacer shakes for the whole day alongside with 60 ounces or more of water. I also get to include 2-3 servings of Herbalife herbal tea and Liftoff (caffeine/energy booster). I’m going to feel much more full and energized today. I’m really enjoying this cleanse and I think it is a fun and unique challenge! Tomorrow I get to have 2 shakes during the day and a regular, healthy meal for dinner (no snacks in between) and then I’m done! I’m so excited to see my results after this cleanse! I will keep you guys updated on my progress! 😊

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and this plate is a great example of why 😋 I baked 1 egg in 1/2 avocado for 15 minutes at 425 degrees F then plated it with roasted asparagus and fennel, pickled carrots, and a few @epicbar venison bites 👌🏼 Now it’s time to hit the beach because this Va Beach weather is too good to miss!! ☀️

In my shakes I always like to have a healthy source of carbs (from the strawberries and peaches), fats (I added coconut oil and almond butter) and protein (from the protein powder). I topped it all off with some coconut flakes and there you have it! A great balanced and refreshing summertime snack 🤗

Fat comes in two main forms: unsaturated and saturated fat. Unsaturated fats are oils — the kind that are fluid at room temperature (such as olive and canola oils). Saturated fats are solid at room temperature (think a stick of butter, coconut oil or animal fat).
I love incorporating a good source of fat into my meals because it had more calories per gram than carbohydrate and protein, leaving you fuller for longer.
Today I had avocado toast which is packed with healthy fats!
Eggs contain monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (the two types of unsaturated fats) and some saturated fats and saturated fats because it is an animal source 🍳 
Avocados contain monounsaturated fats which are known as the “good fats” because it helps lower blood cholesterol. Avocados offer nearly 20 vitamins and minerals in every serving, including potassium (which helps control blood pressure), lutein (which is good for your eyes), folate (which is crucial for cell repair and during pregnancy), B vitamins (help you fight off disease and infection), and vitamins C & E 🥑

Açaí (ah-sigh-EE) is a berry from açaí palm trees in South American rainforests (kinda like grapes). They are primarily know for being packed with antioxidants, that can help build up your immune system and protect your cells against damage from free radicals. Antioxidants also HELP reduce disease and keep a youthful glow. Açaí is also a great source of fiber, healthy fats and calcium. Not to mention very esthetically pleasing 😉

I haven’t been eating regular meals cause I’ve either been working, doing projects or studying.
