Cucumber Moscow Mules 🥒 are the perfect, #healthified drink for this fine Saturday afternoon 🍹
As much as I love the classic flavorful cocktail, did you know the average ginger beer contains more sugar than Coca-Cola?? 😱 I was delighted to find some DELICIOUS sugar-free ginger beer at @hyvee today to pair with @titosvodka and freshly sliced cucumbers instead 😻
It doesn’t get much more refreshing than that. Happy Weekend! #AIWtips#sugarfree#eatwellbewell
All it took for us was that one precious moment when we found the #MedicalMedium book on Instagram and that's all it took for us to see it. 💕
That one special moment when we received the book and opened it up to read it... RealIzing the #truth of the content written. That's all it took for us to believe it 💕
It's like a new world opened when we started implementing the @medicalmedium protocol and seeing an immediate difference. More #love & #light entered out world... our bodies, minds, spirits and souls. It's all it took to open our eyes to all that is meant to be beautifully possible in this World.
We were all meant to be #beautiful . We were meant to be free... Free from chronic illness. Eating this way has proved itself to allow us just that! 💕
What if you knew God's intention for us to thrive and live a happy and healing life meant eating raw, fresh fruits and vegetables... living foods that in turn brought YOU to life. Wouldn't you try? And if not, WHY wouldn't you? Does it really seem that far fetched from the truth? God intended for us to live more than just a mediocre life. God intended us to live in love & light.
See the sunlight upon our (your) faces... How amazing it could and WILL be! We were meant to be magical, we were meant to be free... no matter what the cynics say. We were meant to be more than okay, more than just okay! 💕
This is us every night. Many of our family members say we spend 90% of our time in the kitchen. We just might, but guess what? We are spending that time living! We are spending that time free... and together free. We feel alive preparing our living foods that allow us to be and see all that is possible in this world! We put on music, we jam out. We laugh and make jokes. It is because of this we can do all that we do elsewhere... travel, perform at work, run our business, and truly heal & help others do the same. 💕

How many calories do you eat a day?
🍕Note: My FULL DAY OF EATING has finally just gone live on YouTube (link in bio) so go & watch what I eat to consume 4000kcal a day & if you want more IIFYM days of eating then SUBSCRIBE. As always, usual giveaway will apply for subscribers.
So let’s quickly fill these 2000 IG characters & talk general nutritional requirements for lifters. As “athletes” nutrition plays an integral role for us to fuel strength training, recover between sessions & promote training adaptations, including muscle hypertrophy. While you may not think that lifting requires many additional kcal, when performed intensely, it does (as seen by my 700-800kcal burn on my stories) as lifting puts a sig. demand on all energy systems, the phosphagen energy system & glycogenolysis in particular (Lambert et al 2002, Tesch et al 1986). As a result, several studies have reported daily energy requirements of bodybuilders to range from 15-20MJ/day depending on their experience level (Faber et al 1986, Tarnopolsky et al 1988, van Erp-Baart et al 1989, Heyward et al 1989, Giada et al 1996, Maestu et al 2010). For those of you unaware, 1MJ equates to ~240kcal meaning that 15-20MJ = 3582-4776kcal/day.
While this may seem a lot at first, the above intake is still calculated on those who are extreme muscular (Schulz & Schoeller 1994) thus of course these athletes are going to have generous energy intakes. However, even then when expressed relative to body mass the energy intakes reported above are not actually that much & still often below that of current strength athlete guidelines of ∼44–50kcal/kg/day (Manore et al 2000).
Ever wanted to have a Chocolate cake without any of the guilt? This recipe gives you more than just the taste of a regular cake. It is full of nutritional benefits, free from refined sugars and gluten, it is light and still very indulgent. To sum up, it is good for you in all ways. Incredible, right?
For the base:
250g almond flour (use food processor or high speed blender to make this from whole almonds)
3 tbsp coconut flour
6 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
130g pitted cherries
3-4 tbsp honey
80ml full fat coconut milk
70g coconut oil, melted
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
2 eggs room temperature
For the glazing:
7tbsp coconut milk
1-2 tbsp cacao powder
1-2 tbsp honey
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients for the base. Separately, blend the cherries with honey, coconut milk, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and vanilla until smooth. Add the blended mixture to your dry ingredients, stir to get an even texture.
Whisk the two eggs until fluffy in a separate bowl. Gently stir into the rest of the ingredients using a spatula.
Pour the whole mixture into lined and lightly greased springform, preferably round one with 8 inches diameter.
Bake for 20-25 mins until a cocktail stick comes out clean when testing. Carefully take out from the spring form and leave cake to cool.
In the mean time prepare the glaze by blending coconut milk, honey and cacao powder. Pour this over your cake and decorate with lots of cherries. .

Can some Healthy Foods impact your Health and/or Mental Health?
Depending on your Epigenetics, there are certain foods that unless eaten in moderation or avoided, can impact your health!
For example, common nightshade vegetables:
Is your Doctor aware of Nutrition or Epigenetics & how even Healthy Food impacts our Immune System, Joints, Gut & Mental Health, especially Salicylates & other hidden compounds in foods?
Yes, that's right, hidden food compounds can cause skin problems to digestive stress or mood/mental issues in susceptible individuals.
If you are a person that struggles with Food Sensitivities, Allergies, Joint Pain, Skin Disorders, Autoimmune Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Leaky Gut, Indigestion, Heartburn or a Mood disorder, then there is a chance that Nightshades or other foods could be impacting your Health and/or Mental Health.
People see this list and think, this is a good list of healthy foods, and it is!
However, these are also foods that may be high in Salicylates and/or other substances that may increase Histamine levels, which are known powerful enzyme & metabolic inhibitors, resulting in reduced ATP (low energy production), which can also result in less protein production and other health conditions.
Are you diagnosed with an MTHFR mutation, or autoimmune disease, or food sensitivities, or are you a slow metabolizer?
If so, eating certain foods without having a healed gut & Bioavailable Folate, may increase inflammation & lower immunity by reducing your glutathione, which is one of many critical antioxidants.
So what this means is #Foodmatters , even HealthyFood!
