What Is Quinoa, is it a seed or grain?
It is actually a seed! harvested from a species of a plant called goosefoot. It is officially a seed and part of a group of pseudocereals, making it neither a cereal nor a grain, and more closely related to spinach and beets than to cereals or grains.
For those looking for a grain alternative that has much less potential for damage than regular grains, quinoa is often a good choice. I stopped consuming rice after a research paper on grains in 2014 it wasn’t good!
With that being said, quinoa actually does contain some of the same potentially harmful properties as grains as it has to be processed to make it edible.
So, while it is technically gluten-free and better for you than most grains, some people still have a hard time processing quinoa, the digestive system is effected, but you’ll also want to avoid quinoa because of its high carbohydrate content. Although quinoa still contains quite fewer carbs than most other grains, If your goal is to become a fat burner rather than a carb-burner, you’ll want to avoid quinoa as it’s a 53 on the Glycemic Index – quite high for a food that you don’t have to be eating.
For me today, I’ll be having some quinoa salad. Eat according to your goals.

1/4 cup chikpeas flour
1/4 cup brownrice flour
1/2 cup shorghum flour
3/4 cup oat flour
1 tbsp tapioca
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp apple vinegar
1/2 plant oil
Mixing and put into the oven 180-200C 30 min.
4tbsp coconut sugar
3 tbsp presso
3/4 cup water
Mixing and cooking to pudding.
Use can coconut milk, put 30 min on the fridge after pour off coconut water and just use coconut cream after put in a bowl and make coconut foam with wisk. Then put the foam back into the fridge. After cook above water vapor add 5 tbsp coconut sugar, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 6 tbsp cacao and little bit water. Mixed the cooked chocolate cream with the foam.
Just have a go! You may not be perfect at something - most people aren’t! But it is so important to jump right in and have a go at anything your heart desires. I am nowhere near the perfect yogi, but I do enjoy my yoga lessons and my practice 🧘🏽♀️. I started again about a year ago when I was recovering from a massive anxiety ridden state, that I had found myself in. I have shoulder problems and was also still gaining strength after a really bad flu infection. I needed an outlet, a place to nurture my mind, body and spirit and to get my body moving again and to regain my bodies strength. Yoga was my calling, I found a beautiful teacher online and I took my daughter with me. I want to teach her early that life is what you make of it and to not take notice of others judgement, just live and serve with compassion and kindness. Yoga helped restore my mind and spirit, the body is still being worked on 😊 my strength and flexibility is improving slowly, my shoulders are better after each and every practice. And I found self love again, it is so important to love yourself, that way you are fully there to love others. So go do what your heart desires, because somewhere deep inside your mind, body and spirit are asking you to go for it 👊🏼.
