I’ll be honest - I’ve been feeling super off lately. Eating more sugar than usual is definitely the guilty suspect here, so I’m trying to get back on track. Despite completing a very heavy leg session on Friday followed by a 17-mile run on Saturday, I’ve felt sore and tired, and haven’t been tracking/worrying about my food choices. Lots of beer, pretzels, spaetzel, and dessert later, I feel unmotivated and anxious. .
My legs aren’t sore today so I went for a fasted run in the rain and ate a very low carb lunch. (This wasn’t punishment, it’s what always works for me!) I already feel so much better - both physically and mentally. .
How do you reset when you eat off plan?
It may be cloudy and gloomy where I am today and even where you are, but it could be a perfect time to think about you!

Varning för långt inlägg. Jag har så svårt att komma ur sockerträsket!!! Bilden ovanför är från min papperskorg på jobbet. Chokladkakan hade jag med mig i går, det var knappt hälften kvar när jag på ner den i väskan i söndags. De andra har jag ätit i dag. Och förra veckan var inte bättre! Jag blir galen, jag kan inte stå emot suget! Och ju mer jag äter, ju mer vill jag ju ha! Jag vet inte riktigt vad jag ska göra.
Jag måste verkligen försöka stå emot och försöka ha en planerad ätdag i veckan.
Jag har också funderat på att gå med i Viktväktarna eller Viktklubben, ett litet tag i alla fall så jag ser vilken mängd jag ska äta. För äter jag för lite/för mycket? Samtidigt är det så tråkigt att räkna/väga maten.
Någon som har tips på hur man blir av med/står emot sötsuget?
Dampier palms always delivers. On a crazy day I took time out to head to the ocean with the pooch for some sea air.
It’s too easy to stay indoors now the kids are teenagers and their bedrooms are their fave places. So easy to get out when the kids were little but not so easy to make that choice when they don’t want to do anything with you. It’s always a choice. What choices are you making for your self care? I only wished I packed a picnic, it was soooooooo magical!
Rest day today! If you workout hard, don't forget that rest days are just as important as your workout days. This is when the gainzz are made 💪😜
I don't eat any differently on my rest days. I still just focus on listening to my body and eating foods that I'm craving.

I laughed when my friend sent me this picture! She couldn’t get it out without finishing her drink, so she just drank it with the packet inside! 🤣 A girls got to do what a girls got to do!! I didn’t blame her! My pink drink TOTALLY sets the tone for my day. Balancing my blood sugar, breaking up bad sugars in my system & giving me #energy that’s sustained ALL DAY with no crash or foggy brain! Oh & it helps me keep cravings in their place, and because I’ve working on #guthealth & making my gut a healthy place, my mind has been getting healthy too. Causing me to start really wanting the good stuff & start hating the bad stuff.
So yeah, I’d drink it with the packet inside too 😎

I was Tired with a capital T this morning. Last summer, I would have thrown in the towel. This summer, there is no other choice but to plow through that workout and give it all I’ve got!

Ill be honest, there are days that I think I can't. Hours where I procrastinate. Times where I doubt it is even possible. But then I remember to reach the goal, I have to keep going. Just keep at it and remember with every step forward, every life changed, every sweat accomplished, my life is changing in return. The rewards of not quitting show themselves everyday, I just have to pay more attention to them and less on doubting I am worth them.

so far I have had a crazy start to the month with some things popping up which have need my full attention that is outside of my business, it has been an absolute blessing to know that my business is flexible that it can tick along around those unexpected things that pop up from time to time.
I love being my own boss and working my own hours..... Don’t have to answer to anyone, get to choose the hours that suit me and my family... it’s amazing, and that’s only a small part of it.... the people I get to meet and work with are so inspiring and I love being able to empower them.😊 I am currently a platinum leader and am looking for 2 key people who want to join our fast growing team that would like to take on a leadership role, If you like the sound of this and would like to know more then please contact me and we can chat😊👍 .
My kids wanted burgers so I made turkey burgers on lettuce and topped with tomatoes, avacado and mustard. The kids like theirs chopped up with avacado and ketchup (watch your ketchup ingredients 😀). So easy and tasty!
So freakin’ proud of myself right now! When my trainer said to up the weights, I upped those weights! And you know what??? It pushed me and challenged me to a whole different level! I didn’t think I would be able to even do one round with these upped weights! Did I have to decrease the weights by the 3rd round?? Yea, my arms were dead by round 3! BUT, it doesn’t take away from the fact that I upped my weights for 2 FULL rounds! Get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself! You might surprise yourself of your own strengths and abilities! Keep pushing forward!

A new thing we’ve been doing lately is celebrating the little things. Not the big things, just the small every day things; like waking up, the car starting, having food etc. It’s at random and whenever we feel like it, but it could be nice thing to do at dinner with family or with friends each night 🙏🏻 #celebratelife
LISS is complete! I don’t usually wear my hair down but I just got it done last night 😂 Yesterday I worked out, stayed within my food goals, hit my water goal and I lost 1.6 lbs! My goal is only 2.9 a week so I’m off to a good start!
I sooo wanted a Berkey water filter but I just do not have any extra space in my kitchen for one that sits on the counter. And a whole house water filter was out of my budget. So instead, I have an under-counter filter that filters fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals, arsenic, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides and more. I feel so much better about my water. I have a shower filter that attaches before my shower head. I also travel a lot so I got a Berkey Sport Bottle so I can fill up in airport water fountains and know that I am drinking safe water. #healthyisthenewblack
Working 70hrs a week in construction as we do, it’s often so hard to buckle down and force ourselves out of bed even earlier to work out regularly. But we’re doing it damn it!! Love this magickal life with my one and only xoxo
Ok I dont normally do my full progress...but I have been frustrated on a plateau and need reminding that I am in fact making progress.
My husband tells me all of the time how good I'm doing and encourages me and praises my progress. I usually brush it off because I just dont see it. But here it is...I can literally see it. This is insane! I cannot believe I let myself get to such a point in my life where I didn't even feel bad on the left...I'm glad I got the wake up call when I did because I dont know where I'd be today.
I am so lucky to have my best friend as my husband @fitjourney1313 ; he encourages me to keep going and to keep crushing goals every day. He has lost over 100lb and has also changed from the inside out. I am so proud of him! We are working every day to change our health, our life, our energy, the entire thing because over 3 years ago we woke up. We woke up and realized we were throwing away our lives doing what we thought we should because that's just what people do. Screw normal, screw average. Find what makes your heart full and chase after it! One life. Let's make it an adventure!!
