6 weeks ago I started a new fitness program, new challenge group, and a new mindset🧘🏼♀️🤸🏼♀️🏋🏼♀️🤹🏼♀️. This chalkboard affirmation was exactly what I set out to do and have accomplished!
The last 6 weeks has been different than any other program I've used: .
•Yes, I still have a personal trainer at home, when I'm ready to push play is there to get me fit📺💪🏼
•Yes, I get the accountability and support👩🏼💻🤾🏼♀️
•Yes, I still get guided nutrition🤗😋
The difference--- with this program, I work out only 4 days a week 《still with my Challenge Group》
I get 3 rest days, and a Treat Day which typically consists of extra tacos, chocolate, or yummy drinks😉 🌮🍔🍪🍫🥧🍷🍻 Yes Please!
I even manage to get in a crossfit workout, just because I like it 😁 🏋🏼♀️

Teflon became very popular a few decades ago, but recently, studies have shown that it can actually be hazardous to our health.
After 2-5 minutes of heating a teflon pan it begins to release toxins into the air, and worse of all, into the food. It’s been proven that fumes released by teflon can cause flu-like symptoms. Some of those toxins may interfere with reproduction and cause hormonal imbalances.
If you have pet birds 🐦, keep in mind that toxins released by teflon can affect them fatally, due to their small size. .
If you already have teflon cookware at home, don’t feel obligated to get rid of it, just make sure you’re using it properly (avoid overheating and scraping). Today is the start of week 6 of my new most favorite program. Truth be told I have only completed one other program (@coredeforce) but this program makes me feel on top of the 🌎! With workouts only 4 days a week, 3 rest days, and a meal plan that will work for EVERYONE, I fee unstoppable!
Here are my 5 week results that all of you were asking to see. What if I told you I have maintained my weight for the most part? Would you be discouraged? This is why seeing these photos makes SUCH A DIFFERENCE! IN JUST 5 weeks, I have lost 10.75 inches and maintained my weight! As my body starts to change its composition the weight will start to shed😉
Have I been consistent with workouts: ✅
Have I been consistent with my nutrition:🤷🏼♀️ not as much as I’d like
Am I still seeing results: HELL YEAH!🙌🏻 I am NOT putting this up here to get praise from anyone, but I am putting this up here to show you how some changes, some commitments to yourself can go a LONG way. And I 💯 believe in this program!
Most importantly I feel like I have a TON of energy, my clothes are fitting better, and naturally I am feeling more and more confident👊🏻🙌🏻 So my obligatory ask... when are you going to get started?? “You cannot change what you can tolerate” —some paster guy who was on tv speaking at 3 am when I randomly woke up, who actually ended up being really inspirational. (Ps I just recently got over my fear of 3 am which stemmed from The Conjuring) • I have always, but more specifically the past year & a half been trying to get healthy/ get fit/ slim down/ slide into those old jeans/ not fear full body pictures of me. •And a year ago I thought I had it all figured out. I’d eat low carb, I did my bbg exercises, I was looking better than I had in a long time, but then I’d get to the weekend “my cheat days” & I’d binge HARD. All week I’d look forward to & plan what I was going to gorge myself on. It wasn’t sustainable, I wasn’t making a lifestyle change I was just prolonging the inevitable return to my junk food for every meal way of life. Which is exactly what happened-my trigger, I got dumped. Always blame your failures on others, duh! Kidding, OWN IT.
•Every other week in 2018 or so it seemed, I’d try to give the healthy lifestyle a go again, & I wouldn’t even get through two days before I’d have a candy bar & say fuck it, & then an entire bag of SunChips would become my supper because it was easier then making even a sandwich, because heaven forbid you have to wash the veggies & then *gasp* cut them. And then I’d want to make that junk food day count, go out & buy a ton of candy. There’d always be leftovers for the next day & then that’d be my breakfast. •Then I moved to North Carolina (in the end I was only there for a little more than a month) My bff & I stayed with her cousin Tanner and his girlfriend Bethany. There I absorbed as much wisdom as I could from Bethany, who is so genuinely in love with feeding her body healthy foods it was almost impossible not to want to pick up healthy habits. Still it didn’t happen just like that. •Bethany got me back into running and I’ve worked my way up to 2 miles. While back home I tried to go for a run and I found myself struggling to finish a mile. The difference? The only fuel I’d fed my body that day was Cheetos. I don’t know, every thing I’ve accumulated...it just finally clicked. TBC

Hoy les traigo la primera de las #recetasfitmovement que les había dicho, de la mano de @victorrg_insta 👌🏽👌🏽 Atentos a esta maravilla:
🍫SEMIFRÍO CHOCO-GOFIO🍫 👉🏽Ingredientes:
• 1 paquete de anacardos pequeño; aprox. 120 gr anacardos.
• 1 tableta y media de chocolate negro valor 85 % o más. (si no es valor, que la tableta sea de 100 gr, por tanto en total 150gr).
• 1 cuchara de postre de gofio.
• 1 cuchara de postre de aceite de coco.
• 6 dátiles metjoul.
• Coco rallado. 👉🏽Receta:
1º Derretir mitad del chocolate en el microondas.
2º Triturar mitad de los anacardos y añadir al chocolate derretido.
3º Colocar el resultado en un molde y dejarlo en la nevera mientras seguimos con la receta.
4º Triturar dátiles con gofio, aceite de coco y coco rallado. (Si no les gusta mucho el coco, pueden quitar el coco rallado). Colocar la masa pastosa resultante encima del chocolate ya condensado del molde. Meter en la nevera y seguir con la receta.
5º Derretir la segunda mitad del chocolate que quedaba y seguir con el proceso 1º y 2º. El resultado se colocará encima de la pasta resultante del punto 4º.

...when everything in a race goes wrong. The look on Shelly's face says it all as she tries to hold back tears of distress. Calf cramps, GI issues, and a lack of consistency in her training lead to not not the best race she's ever had. If you have been in a similar boat it's OK to let this upset you, especially since Shelly's knee was quite damaged over a year ago and this is the longest she's run since. But races come and go, we take what we need from the experience and we move on and this one is water under the bridge in my opinion so don't dwell on the misfortunes - it won't do anything to help your future but set you back. We've seen quite the progress with her knee using @neurodrills to be able to complete this distance. We're proud of Shelly's grit to hang on and finish when quitting was right in her grasp! Shellys on a great path right now to creating a future PB with no knee pain, and more consistent training 😉
I really want to write about how I'm missing a certain someone and maybe certain someones and strange things mixed in with some random dreams but I'm just gonna post about food instead... Because... It's a time for focus and cooking schemes can't happen until we eat, so lets eat well🍇🍧⭐(was that cheesy enough for a food post?)

There’s no doubt that water is probably the most important thing we have to ingest.
But, how Much Water Should You Drink?
✅Decided to post this because I’ve been getting many questions asking about how much water you should be drinking!
✅After doing the research on this topic hydration is quite complicated and it varies due to many different factors such as age, gender, weight, height, fitness level, type of activity, duration of activity, etc.
💥However, new guidelines were published by the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies for Hydration DURING Exercise:
💧Drink no more than 1 cup of water every twenty minutes.
💧You can also weight yourself before and after you exercise to get a sense of how much fluid you typically lose. One pound is equivalent to approximately 700ml of fluid.
❗️Hydration is more than just drinking water! When doing intense activity or activity lasting longer more than 20mins (sweating), you must replenish your:
💧SODIUM, POTASSIUM and MAGNESIUM.❤️ (electrolytes)
💚These minerals are responsible for many essential chemical reactions in your body that allow your muscles to contract, as well as your brain and cells to perform.
