I make this 👆, when I want #CARBS I eat carbs and a good bread is always my first choice.  In the past, I use to ignore & push away my desire for carbs but have really learned during my weight management journey to embrace #carbs & have learned to balance them out with my energy needs.
. . 🍌🍞LOW-FAT RECIPE 🍌🍞
📌 3 very ripe bananas smashed
📌 1/3 cup egg whites
📌 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce 📌 2 tbsp coconut oil
📌1 tsp vanilla
📌 1 cup oat flour (i use oats and blend in blender)
📌 1/2 cup gluten free flour
📌 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 📌 1/4 tsp baking soda
📌pinch of sea salt
📌 loads of cinnamon!!!

Preheat oven 350 degrees.  Beat eggs and add the rest of the ingredients.  Bake 50-60 minutes. Watch it and if you make it let me know how much you 💕 it!

🤨Είναι ίσως ένα απο τα πιο συχνά σύνδρομα της εποχής που ζούμε μιας και κύρια αιτία του είναι,μια περίοδος  συνεχόμενης υπερφόρτωσης και υπερκόπωσης σε σωματικό και συναισθηματικό επίπεδο.

🔠Τα συμπτώματα του συνδρόμου αυτού είναι ιδιαίτερα πολυποίκιλα και πολυμορφικά. Καθώς ο κάθε άνθρωπος είναι διαφορετικός, ο οργανισμός αντιδρά με εξίσου διαφορετικό τρόπο στον κάθε έναν. Κάποια ωστόσο από τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά είναι

I’m always upfront about these struggles, because I think there is so much power in the feeling of “me too.” ✋🏻

I did posts on this a couple weeks back & even wrote a blog about it, but lately it’s rearing it’s ugly head more often than I’m used to.

When this stuff comes up in my life I like rationalize & understand what’s beneath my it. Actually, if we’re being honest, I LIVE to understand my feelings & thought patterns... and anyone else’s, who will let me get close enough. (My poor, poor husband.) 😆👏🏻

Here’s what I’ve realized...
✨
Every next level of life demands a better version of you.
✨
Whenever we are moving to the next level and making changes (although they may be positive!) part of our brain is extremely RESISTANT.
✨
Basically this part of us says, “oh, helllll no. We are safe right here... so don’t go changing anything.” ✨
This part of us serves a positive intention- to PROTECT us... but it often comes out in a not-so-positive way (self-sabotage, addictive behaviors, an obsessive need to control things, or, yup, anxiety). ✨
This is one of the biggest things I work on with my clients (and we dive into this in my Battle To Balance Program in terms of resistance to making changes with your health & body!) ✨
Once you uncover WHY you’re experiencing resistance in certain areas you can move past it. ✨
The deeper work may be the tough stuff... it’s like “growing pains” as a child- it doesn’t always FEEL good at the moment... but it is what creates true, lasting change in your life. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 #crunchesthencocktails

Try walking or cycling through the park instead of going to the gym. Or go rock climbing. Try to get the whole family involved when making dinner. Try a different type of yoga. Make a point to try a different type of food each week. The possibilities are endless!

I started Healthpreneur 2.5 years ago with zero following. No one knew who I was. I just started using Instagram more seriously a few months ago. I focused on generating revenue instead of aimlessly going down the social media rabbit hole. ⠀

3. We FOCUSED on the ONE thing.⠀

Where attention goes, energy flows, and results show.⠀

4. I became obsessed with my clients results.⠀

Everything we do in our business is geared to getting our clients results. Everything. Our company goals are built around our clients’ success, not ours.⠀

It wasn’t about the broken refrigerator, the lost money on food, the delay in travel caused by it all, not eating a real meal for 2.5 days, or even going through a breakup and also having my dog on deaths door across the world (he’s gonna be ok!!).... all of it piled up and the emotions were so hard but the hardest part of all is facing it alone. Not having that person next to me to turn to to laugh it off and snuggle the night away and let it all roll off my back. I have to learn to rely on myself, to get out of my own way. To not only overcome the actual obstacles but my own emotions and how hard they tend to hit me. Thank you to every friend I reached out to and talked to. You’re all amazing. But no matter what, there isn’t someone here next to me. It shouldn’t probably matter so much, but it does! I’m hoping by the end of this trip I’ll be my own best friend, and feel so much stronger. I cringed.  Yup….Cringed.  As I scrolled through my personal branding session images, I cringed.  Not because I didn’t like the lighting, location, angles or poses.  Nope….the cringing?  Was at all the wrinkles. All.the.wrinkles. Or…what I perceived to be all the wrinkles.

I’ve now completely passed that age where the hill climbing 🧗‍♀️ has ceased and it’s now become a descent.  And in that descent I’m still learning.  It’s about perspective and seeing life through the eyes of others. And when I scrolled through the images again with Garth, Tys and Ry I saw something different through their eyes.

Instead of wrinkles around my eyes? I saw laugh 😆 lines and one who LOVES the sun ☀️ . I’ll try to age gracefully…but with a lot of laughter…and my face will show it.  Celebrating life and embracing the lines….that’s the only way to enjoy it!

Happy Summer! Today officially begins a brand new season, and I, for one am honoring the change of season by camping out in the wilderness with the family for a couple of days. Este es un bowl que no tiene nada de acai, pero si tiene la consistencia
cremosa que nos gusta, lo hice con medio aguacate, un banano pequeño, un
puñado de espinaca y un chorrito de leche de almendra, todo va a la licuadora.
Como toppings utilicé lo que tenía a la mano en ese momento: arándanos, 
almendras y chocolate semiamargo.

Lately,with my goals towards having my #shredded abs back as gaining some more muscles at the same time,I do my abs workout every day for 7mins with only  30 seconds rest time between. Regardless of how strong your core is or level of resistance, 7 mins abs workout can be really intensive with the right contraction technique,good breathing technique and the right movements which tackles all the three abdominal parts.

This 3 movements are the few I incorporate in my challenge.it's been two weeks now and am seeing difference.

To see great results,it has to be with combination of good healthy diet, cardio/HIIT exercise and then abs workout to strengthen your abs muscle and allow your toned or no fat abs muscles show. ⚠️Stay tuned for a full 7 minutes abs variation workout.

QUALITY VS QUANTITY
This is a concept I wish I understood better years ago. The insane amount of trendy misinformation out there regarding nutrition contributes to so many women obsessing about food (as it did for me)—feeling as though we’re putting all of our effort into making changes, only to see zero results. 
I see this most prominently in the circles that demonize carbohydrates or anything processed, as if those alone leads to weight gain. This is simply not true.

Meticulously counting carbs as part of a low-carb diet when you’re still in a caloric surplus or maintenance won’t lead to fat loss. It may lead to some weight loss initially due to water, but calories are the most important factor in the end.

After not seeing results, one may then resort to other drastic measures or to the diet-of-the-moment as they progress further down the diet rabbit hole.

Quality of food is absolutely important for the proper function of our bodies, but perfection and thinking in absolutes isn’t necessary. In fact, this line of thinking can lead to orthorexia (unhealthy obsession with eating “healthy” foods) in many instances, and it likely won’t result in your desired results. Which I hope includes a healthy relationship with food.

In the vast majority of circumstances, quantity (calories) reigns supreme, and within those limits, you can include foods that aren’t of the purest quality. 
There is a lot more to be said about this topic, and I’m not advocating for women focusing on changing their bodies. However, if that’s a choice YOU make for yourself, I want you to be empowered with information that serves you best—body and mind.✨

I choose to eat what's called a "Ketosis diet" for the health, protection, & healing of my brain.

What's that mean?

In short, ketosis is when your body begins to breakdown fats to make "ketones" (rocket brain fuel) once its depleted its glycogen (stored sugar reserves in the liver & muscles).

I primarily consume healthy fats as my main source of calories, lots of high nutritionally dense above ground veggies, & fatty protein in moderate amounts to maintain my muscle mass as a very active athlete.

The next part is cutting out insulin triggering &/or toxic foods like grains, sugars, alcohol, refined vegetable oils, & high starchy foods.

Then, we must focus on sleep, proper training & not chronically high-heart rate training (temporarily), & stress reduction techniques like eliminating blue light from digital stimulation before bed, meditation, etc.

Once you've adapted, met your body composition goals, & are happy with how you feel, think, & look, you can start adding in healthy starchy foods like sweet potatoes, carrots, seasonal fruit, high-% dark chocolate, etc. in moderation to stay near ketosis, or if you're an athlete like I am, you can do what's called "targeted Keto" & time your carbs around workouts/high intense activity & utilize fasting & Keto-aligned meals to get back into ketosis.

Benefits-when you properly adjust or transition to a keto-adapted or fat-adapted metabolism:
👉🏼Reduced rate of cell division, oxidative stress, inflammation, risk of disease, hormonal imbalances, blood sugar and insulin spikes, and fat storage.

Easy banana oat breakfast muffins 🍌
Mix together 1 mashed banana + 1 cup oatmeal + 1 egg + 1 tsp baking powder + vanilla extract. Scoop into muffin tin and bake at 375 degrees for 20 mins. Top with peanut butter!

Eating to feed our bodies in a way that promotes a healthy weight and that helps our bodies stay free from disease does not have to be complicated. Most of us learned about what to eat to stay healthy from advertisements and from industries that influence public health guidelines in their efforts to sell more. The amount of conflicting information regarding nutrition is confusing. If you struggle with what to eat to stay healthy, the simplest piece of advice I can give you is to add more whole foods that are as close to their natural state as possible and to decrease the amount of highly processed food products. If you have 15 minutes, and access to Netflix, go and watch the episode called “Why Diets Fail”, from the Netflix original series called: Explained. If you are always looking for the next best diet or dieting product, these 15 minutes will be of interest to you!

PSA! 🎙🎉 Step 1 may be the dream but step 2 is the action. ☝️✌️👊 If you want to make it happen, you’ve gotta do just that - make it happen! Commit to the action steps that’ll move you forward. 
Baby steps still count as movement. In fact, we believe baby steps are the key to sustainability. Take it slow when you need to, but take it seriously. 
Because if you don’t take your dreams and goals seriously, who will?✨

Lazy kitchen sink salads are the best. If you want to eat healthfully, but affordably, you must learn how to work with what you’ve got and get creative. On busy days, it can be so tempting to order in or to go grab a bite, with leftover veggies and other seemingly scrap type things in your fridge feeling utterly unappealing. I feel you, I do. The key to taking advantage of what you have on hand is to maintain an open mind to mixing and matching ingredients in a new way at every meal. A green salad with leftover protein may seem dull, but a salad with a bit of shredded chicken, a mix of cooked and raw veggies, fresh herbs, toasted nuts or seeds and a super quick spicy vinaigrette may just do the trick. The more colorful your throw together meals are, the more nutrient diverse and flavor diverse they will be. Think of some scraps you’ve got lying around and ways to make them fun and palatable. ☀️☀️☀️
Some quick tips: 🥦 To spruce up cooked vegetables, mix a tablespoon of tahini with a touch of olive oil, coconut aminos or tamari, and lemon juice and top with sesame seeds. 🍃 To upgrade your salads, make a creamy dressing using spicy mustard, a touch of raw honey, lemon juice and olive oil. 🌽To bring new life into boring cooked grains, toss with a mix of olive oil, sesame oil, maple syrup, lemon juice and chili flakes and then top with crushed almonds and chopped herbs that are on their last legs.
