8 years ago when my son was born I was offered a cream in the chemist that I was told was 100% safe. As soon as I used it his skin flared up in a severe rash. Since that day I have been researching what is ACTUALLY in our products. ....
I began one by one to remove all toxins from my home including all skincare, cleaning products and make up.
Every night when I took off my make up my eyes would be itchy and irritated. I changed my eye make up remover so many times but it wasn’t the remover it was the ingredients in my eye make up causing an allergic reaction. Some of the most harmful and toxic ingredients are in our mascaras and eye make up.

No shame, no stigma. Mood disorders are a real, life altering experience. Mental illness can strike anyone at any time regardless of faith, age, race, gender, socio-economic status, fitness level, size, shape, or condition.
Severe anxiety and depression can turn a life upside down frighteningly fast. Unmitigated stress from childhood and adulthood trauma can slowly steal ones health in inexplicable yet devastating ways.
So while I am personally a HUGE ADVOCATE of finding the most natural, alternatives to over-prescribed medications for mood disorders and other chronic health issues, I am an even BIGGER advocate of surviving. So medicate, when necessary, UNTIL you can meditate and #selfcare
Once a person has achieved a baseline of managing, has a reliable and consistent network of support, and is basically safe, then I encourage people to discover ways to recover their health with the least amount of pharmaceutical interventions possible.
Why???? Because we can. Because we are actually designed to be well and meant to thrive without pharma-cocktails. Because it's possible to use food, exercise, love, nature, mindfulness practices and meditation to heal ourselves of the majority of what ails us.

As the year draws to an end, I can only say 2019 couldn’t come sooner. This year was one of the most challenging for me but also the most eye opening. Here’s what I’ve learned☝🏼
1. You’re stronger than you think
2. Trust and follow your gut - it’s definitely a thing!
3. Surround yourself with people that lift you up and bring out the best in you. Get rid of the negativity & fakeness in your life - it’s draining 🙅🏻♀️
4. Timing is key - you’ll see everything happens for a reason
5. Fight for what you set your heart and mind to - it’s never too late to go after what makes you happy and fulfilled.
6. Exercise is the best therapy!
7. So is wine ;)
8. Structure and routine are good but don’t over plan, over stress, over worry. Set your goals, work your ass off, be PATIENT, and everything falls into place 🙌🏼
9. It’s okay to make mistakes - it builds character.
10. Invest in yourself, your health, your happiness & in the people you love. And be humble in your successes 🌟
