THAT NAME! How can you resist a squash named Honeynut Winter Squash? I’m starting to plan my Thanksgiving table and wanted a different kind of squash. So here it is! Have you tried it yet?
You can cook it like any other squash, but the Honeynut is more compact, so it’s creamier and has a caramel flavor. Did I say CARAMEL?
Need some ideas? Start the meal with a curry-squash soup.
Bake halves with a bit of oil, then stuff with wild rice and cranberries and bake a bit more.
