We had fun making these today however I’m not going to lie to you and say they were delicious... Because they ended up in the trash😑  I don’t like the flour I used and they were a little dry but other than that they held up perfectly with the cookie cutters and baked to perfection. Gonna try again this week after I get some more of my favorite @ottos_cassava_flour 🙌🏼 it’s the best flour I’ve found and it’s fat and grain free😍

Saffron granola is one of my favorite things. It’s super delicious! It’s a great christmas party gift, and it makes the entire kitchen smell fantastic. I make it with; almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and coconut flakes. Heat up apple juice, coconut oil, maple syrup, saffron and sea salt. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well. Put in the oven for about 30 min on 175C (stir ever five min so it won’t get burnt). And voila! 😋😋😋
*3 dl chopped almonds
*2 dl chopped hazelnuts
*2 dl sunflower seeds
*1 dl pumpkinseeds
*1 dl coconut flakes
*1 dl apple juice *0,5 gr saffron
*2 tbsp coconut oil
*2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
*2 ml sea salt

Flaxseed Chia Pudding made with 2 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tsp flexseeds, tripple of water (let soak over night) 1 tsp kakao, 1 tsp tumeric. 
For the persimon cream: just put one whole fruit in a mixer for a few seconds and vuoilá, cream is ready. 
Top it by what ever you like... Delicious and absolutley fullfilling breakfast.

I’ve been going recipe free lately, and my instinct was spot on today. Red lentils with potato curry! 💛 I didn’t have any coconut milk or tomatoes for my usual curry, and I accidentally poured in turmeric instead of curry powder when I started. It wasn’t until I tasted it that I realized something was off. But it was delicious once I added curry & black pepper. The lentils were made with the same garlic, onion, ginger base, but this one had cumin seeds & garam masala for flavor. Manifest amazing health like I manifested the perfect man nearly 15 years ago 🌹😂 I’m kidding...sort of. Story time! Long before the Law Of Attraction or the movie The Secret was a mega hit I was an overwhelmed and confused 18 year old college kid dating for the first time. It sucked. I was attracting the nastiest grimiest men. All it took was a few months of hopelessness for me to call it quits and want to sign myself up at the nearest abbey. I’d flirted with the idea anyway in high school....for real 😂🤦🏾‍♀️ To cut a long story short, I was extremely fed up and got crystal clear with God on my knees and said EXACTLY what I wanted out of the next “love interest” that came my way. I mean, I was CLEAR. I felt  and meant every word I said, out loud. It was so real to me what being treated like a 👸🏽by a 🤴🏾would feel like in that moment. 3 weeks later I met him and the rest as they say....is history.

Get clear on what having amazing health (or anything else) in life would look like for you. Write it, feel it, pray about it, sing about it, speak it, dwell in those thoughts and let it go. Don’t have a ‘nagging desire’ around those thoughts. Let it go and then take inspired ACTION. That being said, I’m totally going to get hooked on these pancakes and want them every single morning 🤤🤤🤤 they’re soooo delicious and so easy. I make the pancakes with @bobsredmill gluten free pancake mix with lots of cinnamon, some vanilla and a little nutmeg in the batter. Then I top with this amazingness: 
1/2 honey crisp apple 
1 tsp cinnamon 
1 Tbsp @miyokos_kitchen vegan butter 
Hear in a sauce pan over medium until the apples are a little soft and warm. Serve over the pancakes with almond butter and then eat daily 🤤🤤 #naturallychelsrecipe #chelsbateseats

That’s the attitude we want towards food and cooking!! But for some people who'd always have an uncomfortable feeling after eating, they don't think the food is your friend. Therefore, you cannot enjoy cooking and its become your chores.

Japanese cooking could help you to get ”food is your friend, cooking is your favourite activity” idea!

Ultimately, we need to eat at least few times per day. Why not enjoy eating beautiful food:)

Stress? Stress banyak sekali sebabnya mulai dari pekerjaan sampai dengan permasalah hidup. Stress merupakan tekanan yang muncul dalam diri seseorang ketika menghadapi sebuah masalah. Sudah tidak bisa dipungkiri pula bahwa stress mampu menurunkan daya tahan tubuh seseorang sehingga penyakit akan dengan mudah menyerang tubuh si penderita stress. Dalam keadaan stress seperti ini biasanya banyak orang yang mencari sebuah pelarian untuk menurunkan tekanannya. Tetapi tidak jarang orang yang salah melakukan pelarian dan justru membuatnya semakin stress maupun sakit.
Sebenarnya untuk menurunkan stress tidaklah sulit. Banyak sekali makanan sehat yang bisa membantu dalam menurunkan stress pada seseorang. Makanan tersebut yaitu sseperti coklat, teh hijau, asparagus, brokoli, susu, ikan, kedelai dan lainnya. Misalnya coklat, coklat yang dianjurkan adalah dark chocolate yang memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam membantu menurunkan stress. Ironbound Island Sea Chowder

We order our Atlantic Dulse online from Iron Bound Island. It costs about half of what it would in the grocery store. It is more moist & tastier because it is fresh from the ocean. They provided this recipe along with our order and it is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients:
2 onions diced (your choice)
2 cups celery diced
1 cup dulse shredded
3 potatoes diced
2 tsp each of dried: oregano, parsley, chicken seasoning, thyme, basil & sea salt.
1 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/4 tsp old bay seasoning 
1 sheet nori shredded
{It's hard to find clean old bay seasoning, so here's how we make ours.}
Old Bay Seasoning * • 1 tsp celery salt * • 1/4 teaspoon paprika * • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper * • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper * • 1 pinch ground dry mustard * • 1 pinch ground mace (may substitute a teensy pinch nutmeg) * • 1 pinch ground cinnamon * • 1 pinch ground cardamom * • 1 pinch ground allspice * • 1 pinch ground clove * 1 pinch ground ginger

Instructions:
Sauté 2 onions, 2 cups of celery, 1 cup of dulse & spices for a few minutes. (Add a splash of water to prevent sticking) Then add 3 diced potatoes and 6-8 cups of water. Cook for twenty minutes, then purée half of the soup in a blender, recombine & enjoy!

Feeling a little under the weather today, had a headache and sinus pressure for most of the day (which is unlike me I rarely get headaches). So my awesome hubby helped me make some bone broth in the instant pot. We used a chicken back, and pieces from the wing that we had froze from previous recipes. I added a jalapeño sliced in half to give it a little extra kick and flavor. If you are only planning on using your broth for sipping I highly recommend experimenting with different flavors. It's been sooo busy lately I haven't posted my mom's specialized diabetic meal prep.

Before she started, her eye doctor told her that there's bleeding in her retina blood vessels that could lead to macular degeneration. She thought she'd have to have her eyes injected and it scared her. That was 11/01/18. On 11/03/18, she finally agreed to get on my meal prep program. Last Friday (12/14/18), her eye specialist told her the good news - there seems to have been some major healing on her retina nerves and the damage was only minor at this point which ultimately meant no more injection!

To curry or not to curry...what a silly question! The answer is always CURRY! This spice is a staple in my home and in my heart. It is always comforting and warming. This curried salad is a perfect meal hot or cold and Leftover friendly! -sweet potato

There is so much medicinal yumminess happening right now...these oxtails are browning in scrumptious #grassfed #beef #tallow from beautifully raised local cows and will be added to the creation of a deeply healing bone broth.

Saag is the quintessential punjabi dish made of variety of greens. It is very popular and is generally eaten with bread made from Corn flour. It is extremely healthy! It is loaded with micro nutrients.. minerals, vitamins and also super high in fiber. It does take a while to cook, but is easy and super fun! You know you are cooking something special and that makes you joyous :) Saag is eaten with lots of butter. You eat it with corn bread and also garlic/chilies pickle (Not shown in the pic.. but I did eat with that!). Below is the recipe. The way it is generally done is that the greens are cooked in large quantities. You keep some for eating in next few days, but the rest is frozen. When you are ready to eat, take out some, make fresh tadka.. add to the greens and eat. The greens are stored without the tadka. This cuts down the time it takes to cook greens every time you want to prepare saag. Below is the recipe:

For cooking the greens:

Greens: 2 part Mustard green, 1 part Spinach, ½ part Bathua (bathuwa), 1 small turnipOptionally: Add fenugrik leaves (1/4 part), ½ head broccoli, green onions green part.. You can also add any other greens you have. 
4-5 green chillies. 5-6 cloves garlic, 1 small onionSome salt, 3 tbsp Corn flour (or ground chick peas)

Wash, cut the greens, add 2 cups water. Let it cook on slow flame for 2-3 hours.
Using a hand blender grind it. Add  Corn flour, mix it and cook for 5-10 mins on slow heat.

To Make tadka
Chopped garlic (4-5 coves), 2 inch ginger chopped, ½ small onion, 1 tomatoe.
2-3 dried red chillis, cumin seeds.

Heat desi ghee, add chilies and cumin seeds. Then add onion and garlic. Cook well till onion is golden brown. Then add tomatoes and cook well.

Add the tadka to the greens. If the green have gotten to dry, add a little bit of water. Mix well, cook few mins.

I really think that sometimes our biggest struggles in life are there to guide us to our purpose or destiny!

It was extremely frustrating, exhausting and terrifying to get super sick 5 years ago.
I mean I was by most people’s standards healthy and active.  I was thin and ate pretty well. 🤔
However I was a train wreck in the mindset department and every bad thing big or small that happened in my life rattled me beyond belief.
😫
I have spent the last 5 years in a deep dive in all things health, wellness, self development and prayer.
As I learned more I realized that if I didn’t get sick I wouldn’t have invested every last second of my time into the wellness world and I wouldn’t have went back to school and I wouldn’t have found my true passion and destiny in life.
🤔
So my point is if you are going through something horrible maybe it’s setting you up to use that experience for good.
Maybe your pain is the vehicle to your destiny. It may not be revealed overnight.
(I didn’t find answers and relief for 2 years)
But sometimes we need the problem or the pain to open our eyes to a new way of being!

Celery juice!✨🌱 I’ve recently started drinking celery juice and it’s become one of my favorite parts of my day. It makes me feel energized and I feel good knowing I’m feeding my body with such a healing food. Celery contains highly powerful mineral salts that work to starve and break down disease causing bacteria in our bodies. Celery calms and reduces inflammation in the skin as well, which is why I’ve started drinking 16 ounces on an empty stomach every day. Hoping this will help to heal my acne issues from the inside out. The list of ailments that celery juice can help is endless, so please if you’re interested do yourself a favor and research! This curried vegetable recipe was delicious (swipe left to last photo for recipe, it's from Anthony Williams' Liver Rescue). I couldn't get the curry sauce to be yellow,  even after doubling the curry and adding tumeric! Ha! Oh well,  green curried noodles it is.  I also used brown rice noodles rather than kelp noodles, since I couldn't find those locally. I simmered the bell pepper and carrots before adding the zucchini noodles. I cooked the rice noodles separately. :) enjoy!

It was a bit difficult for me to get out of bed this morning. Feeling so heavy and tired from being sick 🤒 ....But I got up, went to yoga 🧘‍♀️, made my celery juice🥤and this big bowl of oatmeal! I definitely have adrenal fatigue today but maybe it’s this rainy weather. Come back sun! 🌞

⭐️To make my oatmeal bowl I used two packets of @naturespathorganic gluten free oatmeal and about 2-3 cups water and cooked in a pan until the right consistency. Added a bit of cinnamon and topped with raw honey, frozen wild blueberries, frozen banana, date, hemp seeds and bee pollen. Enjoy! 😋

The food is crazy delicious AND healthy. That's what I'm allllll about. There are two food heavens I'm looking forward to visiting: Bali and Tel Aviv. Do you have a place that would totally SPOIL you?!
