I thought I’d take this opportunity to re-introduce myself, and tell you a little bit about my healing progress. 😁 My name is Tara (👋🏼) & I turn 41 years old today! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2009, after seeing every specialist under the sun for my widespread pain. The unbearable, itchy skin, can’t sit still yet can’t even stand up, scared out of my mind because I have a little kiddo to take care but I can’t even take care of myself kind of pain. So, I started taking pharmaceuticals. 💊
Over the years the flare of fibro pain, and the anxiety & depression that comes with the chronic pain has ebbed and flowed with the seasons. 🌞🍂❄️🌱 I tried everything during these inflammations to ease the pain... heating pads, boxes of self adhesive heat packs, CBD everything (patches, tongue strips, lotions/creams, capsules, chocolates, etc., etc.!), epsom salt baths, and more pharma. It wasn’t until reading about Medical Medium that I knew it was my diet that needed to evolve, not the medicines doctors kept prescribing. 🌟
Since starting the protocols 6 months ago (I started with the 28-day cleanse from book 1!) I’ve cut out all of the NO foods (🚫 gluten, dairy, eggs, corn, soy, sugar, canola oil, msg, and natural flavors). This alone is HUGE, as I lived on coffee w sugar & cream, candy, cheese, bread, and fried foods. I also have been drinking celery juice EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING. It truly is the biggest change of all, cutting out the caffeine & replacing it with this miracle medicine that is supporting the many changes my body is going through. 💚 I also drink lemon water throughout my day & drink a heavy metal detox smoothie as often as possible!
My favorite change to report is that I am PAIN FREE & MEDICATION FREE! ✨ I don’t take any more pills (no, it wasn’t easy & YES, I worked with my doc to get off of Tramadol after 10 years and Celexa after 6 months), and now I use supplements, herbs, foods, and my thoughts (meditation, tapping, breathing) to support my healing. It is the very first season change since I can remember (a decade?) that I am not in absolute agony.

🌟Ester C Benefits🌟
Vitamin C has a long history of use and is famous for its support of the immune system. I remember the only vitamin I got regularly as a kid was Vitamin C!! Even doctors recognize it as a cure for Scurvy (not many vitamins and minerals are awarded such a status). .
So what’s special about Ester-C?
I get this question a lot. One of the main reasons that Ester-C is important is that it is a pH neutral form of vitamin C whereas most other forms of vitamin C are super acidic. This makes it easier on the gut. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ester-C is hugely important for the Adrenal Glands. If you have any kind of Adrenal issue, I highly recommend taking Ester-C for additional adrenal support.
Vitamin C, especially in the Ester-C form, is one of those supplements that can be taken in higher doses (orally) and has been tested to show that it is well tolerated and used by the body. Medical Professionals also recognize that Vitamin C can be provided by IV from anywhere between 15,000 mg up to 100,000 mg (or more), in one IV. In higher doses, Vitamin C will detoxify the liver. If you are concerned about loose bowels as a side effect, from oral Vit C, it can happen in some people, but it usually goes away after the body gets used to it and that effect can be totally avoided by going up on your Vitamin C slowly. And with Ester-C, because of its ph-neutrality, this effect is minimized.

SUGGESTIONS NEEDED 🌿
Needing suggestions on foods and alternative things I can do while waiting for treatment options, I have switched over to Alkaline water and try to keep my alkalinity high, also trying to cut sugars, I sleep with a crystal under my pillow, I do healings etc. wanting ideas from you guys? What foods heal cancer? Let’s keep this cancer stable 🌾
It’s ‘clear out the fridge Thursday’ again! 💚 Today I have spinach, chopped salad, Cannellini Beans, new potatoes, spiced chickpeas, a mushroom stuffed with kale pesto, beetroot and a spicy creamy tahini sauce. 😂 A rather strange combination but it has to be done. It’s also very yummy! 😋🌱

Not only am I suffering from tinnitus, fatigue, acne but also from constipation. .
According to the info by the @medicalmedium I have the Epstein-Barr-Virus, which causes all of that. It brings a high level of inflammation with it. .
He says everything can be healed by changing the diet. Avoiding gluten is one of them. Anthony Williams says: "As you bring more life-giving, anti-inflammatory fruits and veggies into your diet, it is beneficial to begin eliminating the foods that feed the pathogens that trigger an inflammatory response. Foods to remove from your diet while you heal include wheat, gluten, and dairy such as milk, cheese, butter, kefir, and yogurt. Other foods to exclude if you have inflammation or think you may be inflamed are eggs, pork, canola oil, and corn."
Dairy, eggs, pork, corn and canola oil hasn´t been a problem for me at all, as I have been eating strictly vegan again latley. .
But I didn´t think it would be so hard to not have gluten at all. I reduced it, let´s say. But the hardest part for me still is to say no if others offer it. If they made something vegan for me, I feel like I have to honor that and eat that vegan cake or eat that bread with the vegan breadspread. .
I´m just so sick jusifying my eating habit. But I guess this is a good exercise to set my boundaries and to stand up for myself. .
I love pizza and one thing that has helped me on that journey is this @lizza as my crust latley and I just love it. .
I use it as my pizza crust and just add fresh veggies. Like here I used tomatoes, bell peppers, mashrooms, zuccini, arugula and olives. Yummy!!
Healing food. Got all my nutrition books out and have been on forums most of the morning following minor surgery for an abscess and the resulting open wound (so gross) the daily treatment is not nice but it has to heal from the inside out and the wound is pretty deep..... so protein powder, vitamin D3 (from super green capsules), blueberries, pineapple, vitamin c powder, zinc and unsweetened oat milk. Ingredients for golden turmeric tea on order and no sugar, yeast or crap is going in my body for at the least the month that I need daily treatment and hopefully beyond. The NHS are doing their bit wonderfully but the pain medication is knocking me out a bit so the sooner I’m off it the better. Wish me luck! And any advice welcome ❤️

I know from personal experience that it can be an absolute hell and you might envy people who go without problems. I get ya. Thankfully that's mostly gone and about thanks to the insights I got through Ayurveda.
Let me share. When the dry, cold, hard, rough qualities increase Vata dosha increases and constipation might settle in. Autumn sin considered Vata season and therefore people are (even) more prone to constipation. Especially those who have a natural dominance of Vata dosha.
Here are some tips. You will notice, small things make a huge impact: - avoid ALL cold foods and drinks
- avoid all raw foods
- eat light to digest foods (vegetable and whole grains mostly) - drink hot water throughout the day. You can make a tea with ginger, cumin, fennel, coriander. - eat ripe (only ripe!) banana in between meals
- soak figs, raisins and dates (at least 4 hrs) and eat regularly after meal and before going to bed (don't over indulge, they build Kapha) - drink a glass of warm milk (if you digest it) with a tsp of ghee and some turmeric at night about an hour before going to bed. - take small walks / light exercise during the day
- eat slow and chew well - take broken flaxseeds in your oats in the morning
- be patient
